There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At the apartment Sonny is on his phone, discussing the lack of reaction to the story so far with Will, who is out and about. If the story is indeed available, surely they would have heard something! Will suspects Sami will be humiliated. Sonny, however, thinks Abigail will be more humiliated than Sami, since she slept with EJ and people will figure out she is the unnamed woman. Will decides he needs to deal with a call. Knock knock! Sonny sweetly opens the door to unsuspecting smiling Abigail and the baby. The happy baby gets put to bed. Sonny notices Abigail is relaxed and different. She gushes the past is finally behind her and excuses herself. Sonny asks her to wish her mom luck. She gushes she will and leaves. Sonny stares, feeling sad about what awaits the poor girl. Eve has her doubts about the new deal on the table. Jen warns her she is right, this deal is not that great. Aiden advises her to get her lawyer to have a look. Eve cackles then why accept? Jen snaps this is the final offer and hands her the phone to reach out to her lawyer. Otherwise, they go to court to fight the fight. Eve’s attorney arrives and agrees it is not so great a deal. As it turns out, Jen will get most of the profits and Eve has no say in the movie! Jen sits primly as Aiden explains the intricacies. Eve gets her one-time payoff from Victor, that is all. Eve has heard quite enough. Her lawyer advises her to accept as she has almost no chance of winning a trial. Eve eventually agrees to sign and scribbles her name, slamming down the pen with rage. Jen blinks. At the pub, Brady turns down the barman's vodka offer and sighs he will settle for water. He drinks up as he sweats in slight withdrawal. When he stands up, Theresa is standing there. She soon brings up the annulment. Brady states he is taking care of it. Theresa has one more thing to say before he goes. She read Kristen is back. Brady makes no secret of the fact that he hates her. No chance of any kind of hook up with that one who betrayed him ... At the hospital, Nicole repeats to doubting Dan she testified for Eric … Dan tells her that Eric just said he hates her and he must have his reasons! Nicole shuts her eyes in torment. The Vatican voiced their agreement that he could come back but he refused! It is his anger toward her that makes him feel unworthy for the priesthood. But Kristen should be blamed not her! Dan is exasperated that Eric is no longer feeling worthy to be a priest. Nicole stops him and promises she did her best. Can they not be friends again? Dan dramatically declares no, never ever! He reminds her of her lies and manipulations. That was not like a friend! She lied to and about him! Nicole frets. Will he hate her forever? He sighs even the sight of her saddens him for he lost a good friend. He walks away. Nicole is close to tears. Tragic music plays. Kristen faces seething silent Eric outside the courtroom. He starts to go in. She bids him wait. And so he does … She coos it is unfair he cannot continue his good work at the church. Eric leers the grand jury will hear all about unfair from him and goes in. Kristen’s lawyer urges her to leave. She stares him in the eye and decides NO. She demands her lawyer get her in that courtroom now … She soon enters and listens. The D.A. is asking Eric about the night he was drugged. He gasps that was the night he was violated! Kristen looks down. Will gets home to Sonny. Nothing online yet! They kiss and Sonny updates him on Abigail making him feel guilty. He made no mention of the article as it was not up to him. Will calls his cousin, who is now at the square. He thanks her for the outing with the baby. She loves being with her goddaughter. Will stammers about his editor from True Vista, He is their newest hire! Abigail excitedly offers her congratulations. Will stammers he has a cover story coming out. Abigail calls it an honor. Will adds they are waiting for it to appear online … Before he can say more, the girl gets a call maybe from her mom regarding the lawsuit so she ends that one. Sonny is exasperated. So is Will, though he tries to be upbeat about getting a call through to her in a few minutes to forewarn her. Sonny cannot shake his feeling of dread … The lawyers are gone. But Jen has more to say to Eve! She reminds her of the condition that Eve not speak of Jack or his work at all. She intends to hold her to that! One slip and the Kiriakis cash grab is off! Eve gets irate about the gag order and just wants her to show her the money. Jen promises the first check soon. Eve needs it now! Jen taunts even money will not make Eve a happy woman and takes her haughty leave. Eve growls. She is enraged Jenny now has the upper hand … Mary Beth comes upon JJ and Paige at the park with Parker and taunts is that his child? Paige takes her pal aside and tells her off. Mary Beth insists the bad boy is after one thing and after he gets it, Paige is off his radar! She smugly walks away. Paige cannot help but wonder why JJ did not defend himself to mean Mary Beth. Because they are friends, her and Mary Beth. Paige now gets insecure about JJ’s past girls. His phone rings and he realizes Jen is ready … Paige remains with Parker at the park and sends JJ off with a kiss. Brady sits with Theresa at the pub and explains his whole world is now officially all about John. She suggest he not be too hopeful about his da coming out of the coma … Brady elaborates. He is getting trauma doctors who are experts in comas on board. Theresa now gets back to the topic of Kristen facing prison. Brady notes you do the crime, you do the time, and exits. Theresa gets anxious and orders a shot of vodka. Eve texts her to come the hell over! Theresa downs the shot, feeling the pressure of her own transgressions catching up with her ... The judge warns Kristen she will be removed if there is any monkey business. Her slick attorney assures his honor there is no need to worry. Kristen slowly sits down. The D.A. is told to continue. Eric peers at her from the witness stand. She refers to his memory problems. He admits the drugs wiped out his memory of the incident, though he witnessed what happened on a video tape … Meanwhile Nicole visits Brady at the Kiriakis mansion, concerned how he is handling the return of his worst nightmare. He insists he is doing well. She updates him on her and Eric’s testimony, which will no doubt destroy the DiMera. She had words with the evil one earlier and his and Eric’s names came up … Brady soap stares … As he faces the grand jury, Eric gasps it was a nightmare! He tried to confront Kristen before she fled Salem. She admitted she had been out to make her arch enemy Marlena suffer, that was why she ruined his reputation. The D.A. asks if she said anything else. Yes, that she was without regret. He lost his entire world and she had no regrets! He is now asked to step down. The judge gives Kristen the chance to step up and defend herself. She politely turns down the offer and holds her head high. Dan comes to get his tired little man and Paige updates him on JJ getting Jen’s call. She assures Dan she can babysit anytime as she deferred her first year in Stanford. Dan assures the girl he approves of her with JJ. She smiles. He suggests he tell the people running the program the Salem hospital has with pre-med students about her. She is looking forward to it and is further excited when JJ texts her about the lawsuit being settled. Once alone, Dan considers calling Jen, then decides against it. He asks Parker for a big hug cos he sure needs one now. Parker innocently obliges … Jen and Aiden have been celebrating at Horton house. He exits when JJ arrives and she exclaims to her son the case is closed! He is mighty proud … Theresa heads to Eve’s apartment, only to learn her lawsuit is dead. Material girl Theresa thinks the money she got was big. Greedy Eve wanted more! She screams like a banshee that Jennifer is a BEEEEEEEEEECH! Brady gets tense with Nicole and refuses to discuss Kristen. He only cares about making papa John better, not that beeeeech! Eve gets herself all worked up about Jen boasting to everyone no doubt, including Daniel. Theresa giggles she digs him. Eve screams she only cares about getting out of this hellhole and getting her surgery and a new start though now Paige is staying! The banshee in the background moans as Eve exclaims Theresa’s attempt was a bust. But she is not giving up. That JJ Devereaux has got to go! The banshee agrees Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Theresa is amused. Eve notes she went after a bigger fish and taunts too bad about the Brady mess. Theresa warns her she agreed not to talk about it! She utters a threat and takes her leave. Eve scowls and has another look at the document. At the Wilson apartment, the baby is crying. Will goes out for diapers. Sonny peeks into the bedroom. The baby stops crying. Sonny now refreshes the page and voila the article is there! Abigail has seen it too and sits down at a town square table to read. The melodramatic picture of Sami and EJ, lightning behind them, makes her wonder. What and why would Will write about EJ and Sami? Champagne and good cheer fill Horton house, until downtrodden distraught devastated Abigail appears. Jen and JJ realize something is very wrong. Jen gently asks what is troubling her daughter ... Theresa comes across Dan at the park and jokes he is a bounty hunter. He steps away from Parker and his book. Theresa apologizes, then shares her worries about Brady. She asks what John’s chances are of waking up. The medicine man senses she has something to hide and alludes to as much. Just how frightened would she be if John woke up! ... Nicole is now discussing John with Brady. He wants to believe he can find the right doctor. Eric now drops by, gasping about the courthouse and the work they have waiting ...He notices Nicole and stops. The grand jury has spoken and the judge reads the indictment as Kristen stands to face the music. She is hereby charged with 4 counts of assault, 2 counts of battery, hindering an investigation, evading arrest, 1 count of violating one's civil rights, 1 count of invasion of privacy, conspiracy, 3 counts of illegal use of restricted pharmaceuticals, and 1 count of RAPE. How does she plead? Kristen regains her DiMera composure and defiantly declares NOT GUILTY. The D.A. suggests bail be denied … The judge declares there must be a lengthy discussion on that point. Kristen is pleased with the development. The D.A. is stunned by the delay … Meanwhile Brady turns and stares at Nicole staring back at Eric. He reminds his bewildered brother they all want Kristen locked up, so they are on the same side. Eric exclaims he was with the grand jury and knows she will not get away with what she has done!… Dan implies to Theresa that he is on to her and leaves with his son in his arms. Theresa goes a whiter shade of pale… Paige heads home and hugs her mother, relieved they can all be friends! JJ gave her the good news … Abigail is crushed and whispers just when she believed things could not get worse, they did … Meanwhile Will returns to Sonny, who shoves the tablet with the tell-all article at him. How the hell could he do it!?! But this is the first time Will is seeing it and there is something he does not yet realize ...! THE END Ahead on Days of Our Lives: The fallout EXPLODES! |
