There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Hope follows Aiden into the pub and accuses him of avoidance. He plays innocent about her misunderstanding his pal date with Jen. But Hope is no fool and wonders why he misled her. He sighs he did it for her. Why? He likes her and she is beautiful but alas he is not ready for a relationship. It is not forgotten that Hope is married! She wishes he had been upfront and downplays their dance. This conversation was not even necessary! Aiden has an appointment. She has a meeting. And so they go their separate ways. Aiden watches her woefully through the window and walks away. At the square, JJ laments Eve does not want Paige near him. Rory is somewhat sympathetic. Mary Beth comes by and agrees with Eve! JJ disagrees with the peeved pal and denies talking Paige out of Stanford. Mary Beth snaps but he did not talk her out of her decision and takes her huffy leave. All Rory can do is say how hot Mary Beth is. JJ is exasperated by his flaky friend ... Eve is at the apartment denying Paige’s complaint about Theresa’s sudden and strange visit. Eve offers to call her and tell her off. Paige remains suspicious. In addition, after Theresa left, Stanford admissions unexpectedly called in case she has changed her mind. She is no dummy and warns the mischief making mommy to stop trying to trick her. She wants to stay in Salem also to be near her during the lawsuit. Eve appears overwhelmed. Petulant Paige tells her to ask her what she wants next time and exits to meet the boy of her dreams. JJ. Eve lets out a war cry. Suited Eric informs Jen he will have to put off that hospital photo shoot as he has gotten a subpoena to testify before the grand jury! He has high praise for Dan too. He asks how he is doing when Jen makes mention of the danger he was in. Jen pouts. She has little information, though she does want to apologize for believing Kristen and being her bff. He gasps they were all duped. She is hopeful he can now return to being a priest. Pause. Eric is compelled to confess he turned down the calling of the cardinal. Jen is surprised as well as sorry. So is he. He now excuses himself to meet with the D.A. At the house of Kiriakis, Dan plays with pumped Parker. Brady is grateful Dan brought Kristen back to Salem to face the music. Dan wonders. He is aware that Kristen is utterly obsessed with Brady. Brady knows it. He gave a written statement to the grand jury but refuses to stand in the same room as that bitch ever again, even if there is a trial! Enter Victor and Maggie, home at last. Happy hugs! Dan appreciates the family more than ever. Victor asks Parker to show him his new toy as Maggie and Dan hug again and the redhead cries. All that matters is her son is safe and sound! She does not want to let go... Victor has a coffee and grumbles to Brady about the justice system and Kristen DiMera. If justice is not done, he will get his own brand of justice again! Brady considers … At the courthouse, a cop escorts stylish Kristen into an office to await her lawyer. Nicole arrives and tells the BITCH it is just the two of them at long last! She is ready for this showdown! Kristen slowly shakes her head. Nicole taunts her about what she told the grand jury. Kristen is not interested. Nicole lets her know she is out for her blood ... Rory reminds JJ about that party. JJ denies being a party boy or caring to party hearty again. Rory deduces dude is in denial ... Maggie is hopeful about Dan seeing Jen. He makes light of Jen’s concern but does have a request – for his mother to be there for her, regarding the lawsuit with Eve. She gushes in agreement. Dan now picks up his little man and flies him to the park. The redhead returns to Victor and Brady, who are in a heated discussion about Kristen the man eater. Brady promises he will be alright even if there is a trial dragging all her dirty deeds out. Maggie smiles. Casual calm guy Brady claims his first reaction when he heard the news was to go and attack Kristen. Maggie wonders why he did not. Marlena intervened and so he headed for a meeting instead. And then another one. Maggie gasps in delight that he is so grounded. The billionaire heir drawls it is true your worst day sober is better than your best day drunk. Today he knows Kristen is not worth coke or booze. However, he does not address his addiction to LOVE, which in the excitement, seems to be forgotten. At least for now ... Maggie is proud of his progress and hugs him. Victor shakes his hand and pats him on the back. Brady excuses himself to a business meeting. The Greek remembers John’s predicament and notes at least it made Brady wake up. Maggie intends to be there for him through it all. She now cries about what befell Daniel, who still worries about Jen and asked her to help her with Eve. Victor wonders if she told him what they already talked about. No and she is going to do it now! The tycoon offers to help. She thanks him with a kiss and flounces off for the fight. The Greek grimaces. Pumped Parker is having noisy fun with daddy Dan and a baseball bat at the park when Paige runs into them. She feels badly about her mom making a play for Dan and hopes he does not think she is the wrong girl for JJ. Nothing could be further from the truth! JJ appears and Parker is pumped to see him. Dan drawls he wants his son to get back to a normal routine. JJ suggests Parker and Dan spend their time with him and Paige, in that case. Paige casts him a flirty look. Jen opens her door to attorney Aiden, but he has not come to see Jack’s journals. He has come on a mission to discuss Hope, who had the wrong idea they were more than friends. He starts to stammer strangely and suggests Jen reschedule with him for the play. She quips it closed. He promises to make Eve regret taking her to court with a goofy grin. Ding dong! Aiden is anxious. Jen answers the door. Enter Maggie with an offer Eve cannot refuse … Back at the apartment, Eve lies to Stanford admissions her daughter is not thinking clearly. They refuse to discuss the application and acceptance with anyone but the potential student. By the time Eve takes the call she gets from her own lawyer, she is fed up and snarly. He warns they need to discuss her case. What about it? The invisible storyline banshee in the background moans ahaaaaaaaaaaaa. Kristen arrogantly sits at the absentee attorney’s desk, appraising angry Nicole with her cat eyes. She gets glib. Nicole rages Eric was not believed because of the wicked woman and then that video destroyed his life. He was labeled a liar and even assumed Nicole might have been the mastermind. Kristen taunts the biggest tragedy of all is that Nicole withheld the evidence! How dare she get in her face! Nicole scoffs … Hope meets with Brady at the pub, where she updates him on the D.A. desperately wanting the win. However, Kristen has hired a shark to represent her. It will not be an easy fight. Brady rages if she is not brought to justice, he will wring her neck himself! In his room, Eric has opened a box. He finds a picture of himself in his holy robes, then photos of himself in romantic scenes with Nicole. He imagines her whispering about remembering. And then she kisses him. Eric blinks back to reality and is tempted to rip up his priest picture though he does not. Instead he shuts the box. JJ cannot believe the wild ride Dan took with Kristen DiMera. The humble hero now gets paged to the hospital. The sitter is away. Paige and JJ want to look after Parker in the park. Dan is grateful. Parker grabs the bat and promises to be good. Dan tickles him again and goes. JJ loves this kid and feels he owes him too … Eve is irate about her lawyer’s never ending expenses. She snaps he will get his money and ends the call … Jen wants to fight her own fight. But Maggie and Victor have had a document drawn up, offering to cover the main settlement to Eve, to top up the smaller settlement from Jen. Jen would rather fight. Aiden warns her it could be drawn out. Jen gets to thinking about the strain on her already stressed kids. This could work provided Aiden draw her up an insurance policy to suit her needs … At the park, Paige and JJ stand up to get Parker his snacks. Paige wonders about his last comment. JJ admits once upon a time he wasn’t watching Parker properly and he almost took a tumble. Paige had no idea. JJ gets worried. She assures her guy she is going nowhere. He had feared she might have changed her view of him. She repeats she will never change her mind about him. He marvels he does not deserve her. She marvels he will make a wonderful father. JJ gazes at her. Dan drops by the club for a coffee to go. He spies suited Eric, who informs him of his appointment with the grand jury. Dan is upbeat about his possible return to the priesthood. Eric gasps he has already been cleared but turned the cardinal down. Dan immediately assumes it is because he is in love with Nicole. Eric gets choked up and announces no, in fact, he HATES her! Eve the defiant woman with difficulties opens her door to Aiden and Jen, who bear an offer. She suspiciously wonders what kind. Aiden advises her to contact her attorney and hands her the document. Eve suspects there is a catch. It is too good to be true. Jen confirms there is a catch. It expires TODAY or else she sees her in court. It's now or never ... Nicole and Kristen are bickering when a cop bursts in with her irate attorney. Kristen’s parting shot is that she and Nicole are no different from one another! Nicole is led out by the cop. She heads to the hospital to tell Dr. Dan she testified today against Kristen, exposing all. Dan stops writing on his chart and demands to know what in the world she has done to poor Eric now … Brady orders a water at the pub, trying to keep it together. The bartender assumes he wants his usual vodka on the rocks with a twist ...Meanwhile Kristen is waiting in front of the courtroom. Her lawyer explains there is another witness. The mafia princess will not wait and turns to be taken back to the station. That is when she runs into Eric, who gives her an unholy stare. Let the drama begin ...!
