Paige looks at JJ, who looks at Paige in Kyle's place. They each wonder what the other is doing there ... Victor Kiriakis cackles on the phone that the bastard is not going to know what HIT him ...At the club, slick Zander treats himself to the good life. He asks the chick he had met the other day to join him for a bottle of bubbly but the waiter bears bad news. The credit card was declined ... Brady admits he finds Theresa's cast and broken ankle due to house hunting in high heels a tad too convenient. She plays innocent and explains it will be at least 4 weeks. Why he can call her doctor, one Dr. Lee, and also check out her xrays on the cd she got. Brady alludes to the fact that such things can be changed, then takes his leave. But he stops at the front door, briefcase in hand, and gets to thinking. Meanwhile Theresa of sofa fame has her eye on the bar. Brady decides to go back and slides open the living room double doors ... Marlena is aglow at the hospital in her red jacket and gushes it is good to see Eric looking so happy. The happy hunk points out he has found his peace and presents his mom with an old framed photo of her with both John and Roman. He marvels she always managed to stay close to his father. In fact he considers her his inspiration ... Dan steps between the battling divas at his place, peeved and demanding what the hell they were thinking ... Paige pouts SHE was invited over. Kyle grovels how glad he is that she came after all. JJ scoffs he will not stay and spoil their party and tells Kyle he will talk to him later. He takes off and Paige snaps at Kyle for setting this up. Kyle begs her to have breakfast with him so she can help him ... Nicole complains Chloe came after her first. Chloe complains to Dan that he must be crazy to marry her. Nicole threatens to call it off, then regrets her words she did not really mean. Chloe hisses she will not ever accept their union. Dan does damage control by asking Nicole to go for a walk while he and his ex have a long talk ... At the park, Rory comes across JJ staring at the key he stole. He suspects it is connected to Paige. JJ changes the subject. Rory suggests they hang out and get high. JJ momentarily mulls over missing his club shift, then mutters about his next move and gets going. It is not easy being a narc in training ... Once they are alone at the apartment, Dan sighs when he spoke with Chloe on the phone she seemed okay so what changed? She laments she did not like the risk of Parker getting drawn into one of Nicole's dramas. They do not end well. Dan does his darnedest to convince her Nicole is a new woman and will be a super stepmother. He would like Chloe to accept it the way he accepted her new man in Parker's little life. He insists he would never have proposed to anyone who was not a positive influence on their son. Parker has been brought home and hugs his mother, who promises to spend time with him very soon ... At the club, Kyle treats Paige to coffee and breakfast. He plays the role of the ageing street kid wanting to change if the nice girl helps him. Paige falls for it hook, line and sinker ... Nicole heads for the square and she is visibly stressed. Eric sees her ... Naturally Eric sympathizes with the woman he loves when he hears her story about Chloe causing chaos. He also wants her to know he confided in Brady but his brother and he too will never repeat what happened when they were near death. The almost love making is a secret. Nicole admits she already told Dan. Eric blinks ... Theresa smugly tells Anne over the phone that Brady bought it and agrees to pay Dr. Lee as promised. After the call is over, Brady appears, as he had forgotten the board meeting was later. Theresa asks for a drink of water and so he pours her the best water from a bottle at the bar. Theresa poses on the sofa with her cast like a siren. She gets texted that her time with Tate has come. She sighs about the crutches and adds nanny Emma needs to pick up some things for her charge at the store. Brady offers to bring the baby to her and does just that. As she coos and bottle feeds and burps their baby, Brady looks on in admiration, boasting of all the photos and videos he has taken. They admire some together and then he excuses himself to that board meeting. Tate cries after him. Theresa holds her baby and coos he is going to bring daddy around so they can be a happy family ... Dan promises Chloe he will always do right by Parker ... Zander meets Uncle Victa at the park. He reacts with cockiness when the Greek grumbles he did not get out of town as told. Victor already took action, assigning the chair of those fake charities making him money to another. And the credit cards and accounts have been closed and cancelled. The nephew from hell is defiant. Victor snarls he spared his life. He now makes a phone call about getting something done, then spooks the sinister one ... The plan for Zan! Eric has nothing more to say when Nicole notes Dan forgave her but he gazes at her still. Nicole gets texted to come home. When she arrives she is met by Chloe only, so they can clear the air. The former friends cry they missed one another after discussing the importance of Parker, and share an emotional embrace ... Kyle pokes fun at his stupidity and takes his breakfast date by the hand. Paige smiles and he marvels at her smile. JJ opens the club door, catches sight of the pair, and leaves in a huff. Jump Street JJ is on the move again ...Paige suggests Kyle get into sales. He notes his present product pretty much sells itself. Paige suddenly comes up with another idea ... JJ has gone rogue! Ignoring his orders from earlier in the day, he decides to do something dangerous in the name of saving the girl he loves. He slips into Kyle's lavish apartment, using the key he stole, and searches high and low, leaving his fingerprints everywhere, including the drawer filled with funds. JJ snaps photos of the serial numbers as he takes the boxes out ... Dan is at the square with Parker when he spies Eric. He lets Parker play a game nearby. They discuss what Nicole told him about being locked together. Dan understands. He wants them all to be friends again like before ... At the hospital, Marlena is aglow as she asks Brady about Tate. In fact she plans to pay him a visit when Theresa has left the mansion. Brady explains she broke her ankle so it will take a while longer. He pauses and smiles they both love their baby more than anything. He has no idea he is being played ... Back at the pusher's place, JJ hears a sound and jumps behind the couch to conceal himself. Kyle opens the door and brings his lady in. But Paige insists she heard something. JJ tries to be as quiet as possible ... THE END Ahead on Days: Abi assumes the results are real. JJ has no way out ... |
