Brady the billionaire heir must deal with a biz call and talks figures. Now, to get back to Mel. What is she doing here getting plasma? She focuses on the fact that she was covering. Before Brady can get a straight answer from his stressed stammering sweet girlfriend, Jorge arrives, astonished Mel got him such a big ... stuffed bunny. Brady is bewildered she gave the blood bank guy that gift which she had intended for Parker ... Zander comes onto Nicole at the town square, leaving her breathless but she resists, reminding him she is not on good terms with Serena. He smoothly states they have a working relationship only and asks her about Eric. Nicole notes he is her past. Zander talks a good game and puts his contact details on her phone, in case she changes her mind about that coffay date. Nicole is flattered though she feels rather taken. For now, that is ... Serena speaks Zander's name to Eric with dread. She lies she just does not like the fact that he is now friendly with Nicole ... Eve is trance-like with the jacket JJ was wearing their first night together when Theresa calls, accusing her of making off with it. She denies the charge, then shoves the jacket in a bag, putting it on the top shelf of the closet ... JJ gets worried about Jen not texting him with an update on her talk with Dan and takes off ... At the apartment Jen orders Dan to keep his mouth shut. Tis harsh language for the Horton family. Paige is standing there and is sorry for overhearing. She came to return Parker's favorite toy to him and hands it to grateful Dan. Jen wonders what she may have heard. Just her telling Dan to keep his silence about something. She decides to discreetly depart but Jen first asks her to meetup at the pub shortly for a chat. Agreed. Once pretty Paige has left the building, Jen demands Dan promise to keep Eve and JJ's affair a secret. Dan declares he can do no such thing! ... Brady follows Mel ... Serena suddenly begs Eric to avoid smooth talking Zander, since he is not a nice man and Nicole is now in his sphere ... JJ gets to the charity drive and asks to see Maggie. Theresa taunts him she is gone and the work is done so he is too late ... Dan is down on Jen for her crazy covering up for JJ cos if Paige were HER daughter she would have a very different point of view. He also questions JJ as relationship material, given he kept going back to his girlfriend's mother for more. Jen refuses to listen to any criticism of her son. The medicine man suggests unlike before, where she used tough love to save him, she is now enabling him and teaching him to lie. He exclaims this secret is a ticking TIME BOMB! Chez Dan the drama concludes with Jen announcing if he does not keep JJ's secret, then they are friends no more! She also disagrees that Paige would need to know, certain that her knowing would spell her ruin. Jen storms out. Dan is distressed ... Mel gets to the square and starts whispering she has plasma for the lab. Brady catches up with her, insisting she take the day off and get packed for his surprise ... Eric would rather get Stylish Serena to his place for some lovin instead of listen to her Zander talk or even have dinner with him ...JJ taunts Theresa for having no one, whereas he and Paige are back on track. She calls him a sleazy twerp ... Mel stammers she cannot go, she has important stuff to do today. Brady is bewildered ... Eve obsesses over her obsession with the jacket that JJ wore and goes for a walk to clear her head ... Dan arrives for his scheduled surgery at the hospital only to hear it has been cancelled. Nicole arrives and invites him out for lunch. Dan groans he is not in a good mood ... At the pub Jen politely asks Paige if all is well in her and JJ's world. Paige is all smiles and then thanks Jen for letting her know JJ was not into his other girl. She helped them find their way back together. She is glad she opened her heart and offers to return the favor for Jen,in case she needs help with her friendship with Dan. Jen dismisses her Dan spat as work related ... Once Eric gets Serena to his place, he presents her with a 200 year-old antique jar from the father in Africa, to make up for the elephant she misses. She is touched and they kiss in bliss ... Brady points out Mel's stuff can wait and explains they both need to pack for his romantic overnight holiday surprise. He will not take no for an answer ... After Jen departs, Paige deduces she was not telling the truth about her argument with Dan ...Nicole wishes Dan would tell her what has him so down. Still feeling raw from his run-in with Jen, he just wants her to respect his wish to be aloooone. Nicole feels like persona not grata yet again and cries she is done trying... Eric and Serena are kissing on the couch when Zander elegantly drops by to discuss dinner. He realizes he interrupted their romantic moment and excuses himself after pleasantly pointing out he sent Serena the important thing that was needed for the next step of her ... article. Then he leaves. Eric finds it strange that there was no friction between them as she had stated. Serena gets frisky and they head to the bedroom to make love but when they are nekid under the sheets, she gets spooked, remembering how dangerous Zander can be ... Theresa searches for the signed form she needs from Jorge in his office. He returns and she ridicules his big stuffed bunny. He accuses her of hacking into his computer. Theresa tells him off for t'was not her and takes off in a huff. Jorge stares at his monitor and mutters it was Melanie ... At the Kiriakis mansion, Brady walks to his bedroom to gather some belongings. Mel is frantic to call Serena to create an excuse for her to excuse herself so she can get the plasma to the lab. She is holding the bag behind her back when Brady returns, voicing his displeasure. Mel cringes ...Paige calls JJ from the square and states she is heading to her mom's place to pick up some of her old notes and books. She asks him to help her with the box and meet her there but first talk to his mother, who was telling Dan to shut up about something. She needs his help. Pale JJ replies her car is pulling up as they speak. After the call, Paige finds Eve facing her at the square, smug about Jen arguing with Dan, using harsh language for a Horton. Paige does not want to get in the middle and gets going with a purpose. So does Eve ... Nicole calls Zander the smooth talker and agrees to have that coffee date ... Brady is disappointed the day he had planned with Mel must be postponed due to plant problems in China. Relieved Mel tells him she understands and to call Hong Kong. Exit Brady. Mel takes a look in her plasma bag again and exclaims in frustration ... Jen is at Horton house with jumpy JJ. She assures him Dan is not the kind of man who would tell anyone such a secret, unless he was provoked ... Dan has an unexpected visitor at his apartment. Tis Eve = provocation squared! She muses he must know about her. Dan curses he knows about her and JJ alright ... Meanwhile Paige is already at the apartment looking for her belongings. She opens the closet and the jacket falls out. The one that her mother's mystery lover was wearing once upon a fateful night ... THE END Ahead on Days: Victor goes all Kiriakis on WILL! Sonny sees the secret on Will's tablet! Paige has a confrontation with Eve over "le jacket." |
