They kiss on the couch and Sonny steals some food to go. Enter Leo looking for a sock. Sonny makes the intros ... Meanwhile Viv is over the moon as Leo texted her mission accomplished. Stefan sees her at the park and muses she must have destroyed someone. She pokes fun at his longing for fake Gabi. Stefan glances over his shoulder ... Rafe meets Gabi and promises not to give up but she fears the end is near all because of Abigail’s lie ... Dr. Laura ignores a text from Marlena at DiMera mansion. She mutters about real Abigail not being able to handle her truth. Chad walks in and wonders whose truth. He is baffled by the glasses. She makes light of her eyes bothering her and removes them. Chad asks about Jen. She fibs she felt better this morning ... Eric wakes up Jen with his arm around her and she gushes good morning as the sunlight streams in. He feels lucky and they kiss ... Val is surprised to see Abe in the hospital waiting area. He notes Lani is asleep and thanks her for summoning him yesterday. She assures him no more secrets so he bids her to sit. He apologizes for being hard on her. She gets it but now they must move on and focus on their grandbaby. Abe wants to know what the chances are that Lani might lose the baby ... Gabi tells Rafe all about Abigail’s crazy claim that she confessed in the ladies room. She assumes she has lost her grip on reality again. Rafe wonders ... Chad still wants to know who Abigail was mumbling about. Gabi and she still insists she confessed to her. She gives Chad a hard time for harboring doubts ... Adrienne and Justin politely invite Leo to have a bite with them. He smiles he has to go to work and Sonny walks him to the door. Last night was great. They kiss. Until next time. Sonny has stars in his eyes ... Rafe realizes Gabi suspects Abigail had a relapse. She notes she did not seem herself on the stand. Losing Andre may have been too much stress so she might have snapped. That is the only explanation for the lie she can come up with ... Dr. Laura tries to make Chad choose sides. He suspects she might have been blackmailed into lying by Stefan ... Stefan sighs Abigail would be better off being fake Gabi and he wishes he could see her again. Vivian sighs ... Eric and Jen cuddle in the big bed happy to be friends and lovers. She even wears his friendship bracelet. He holds her close and she praises how good he also is with her kids. It helps her. He whispers they will always be good for each other and they giggle. Then she kisses him ... Val tells Abe that Lani just needs to take care of herself. The placenta placement could correct itself. The only real risk is if the baby comes too soon. The risk of bleeding would also be bad. Abe takes it all in and she adds Lani asked her to be there for her. She will be there for both Lani and Abe. They clasp hands ... Sonny hums and helps himself to coffee. Adrienne teases him for not sharing he had someone upstairs. Sonny talks awkward. Justin understands. Adrienne hopes they will see each other again. Suited Justin stops her and gets a call. The verdict is in. He fears it was too fast and has to get going to Gabi. Sonny says to send his good wishes. He will soon be there when he can ... Leo meets Viv at the park and decides he has a new job with Sonny. She talks the next phase and he gets a bad feeling ... Rafe gives Gabi a pep talk but she believes the writing is on the wall. She gets emotional about Arianna and he promises to keep her out of prison. Then he goes. Gabi takes a deep breath ... Chad wonders whether Stefan did something when they were in Hong Kong. It might have been hypnosis or brainwashing because Abigail is so different. Laura blinks at him. Chad stammers to say what happened in Hong Kong. Stefan appears and offers to explain. Chad points out this is a private convo. Stefan claims he did nothing and Abigail agrees. Rafe arrives wanting Abigail to explain why she lied about Gabi. Abigail – as Laura – insists that girl really is a cold blooded killer ... Gabi tells Justin to try and prove that Abigail has slipped from reality again. He is sorry to say it is too late ... Abigail reasons Gabi was angry at Andre and snapped when he stole her company. Rafe doubts his sister caused his death. Laura lists all the evidence. Rafe looks bored. He questions why his sister would have confessed to her. Laura talks guilt cos she was close to Andre. Rafe peers at her. She adds his sister should pay for what she did. Stefan states he has been convinced. Chad brings up the mystery woman in Hong Kong, the one he saw at Stefan’s door ... Sonny is dressed and asks Adrienne to call if she gets a heads up on the verdict. She says how nice Leo seems and likes how he looked at Sonny. Sonny notes they are not yet involved. She states but they spent the night together. He wishes she would stop saying that. She repeats she is happy for him and brings up Will breaking his heart. He would rather not discuss. She asks when he will see Leo again. Sonny teases he will have to take him somewhere else. Adrienne admits she is worried about him still after what happened with Will and Paul. She gets emotional and he assures her he will be alright. She hopes it will go well with Leo but seems worried. Sonny smiles with Leo what you see is what you get ... Leo hesitates. Viv warns him not to forget their deal. He will do his best. She sends him to the task ... Stefan states to suspicious Rafe the woman in questions was his biz partner. Before Rafe can probe he gets a call the verdict is ready ... Gabi panics with Justin assuming the worst outcome. He tries unsuccessfully to talk her down ... At the square Sonny gets a call from Adrienne the verdict is minutes away. Sonny complains he cannot go as his assistant just quit and he has a meeting. Adrienne will be there for Ari. Sonny thanks her and turns, only to run into Leo ... Jen and Eric enjoy pancakes and coffee at the pub. He gushes how happy she makes him. She smiles that sounds perfect. Now it is her turn. He makes her so happy too. They kiss over the table. Adrienne walks in and smiles at the friends and lovers ... Abe is glad about sharing a grandchild with a wonderful woman like Val. He now understands where she was coming from and tells her she was right to tell Eli. She thanks him and loves him for saying that. He likes having her in his life and she feels the same way. He kisses her hands and goes to check on sleeping Lexie ... Rafe joins Gabi at the courthouse and admits he had not enough time to investigate a new lead. Abigail arrives. Gabi screams at her to get out with Stefan. Laura leaves followed by Stefan. Trask arrives and tells Justin this will be justice, also for the late Nick Fallon. Gabi gets more stressed by the second ... Adrienne wishes lovebirds Jen and Eric a good morning. Jen missed their meeting. Adrienne laughs about it. Eric is summoned to the center. Jen blushes and admits they spent the night together ... Leo informs Sonny he was just offered a permanent position where he had been temping - at Titan Industries! Vivian watches from the shadows with a wicked grin ... Back at DiMera mansion Laura openly argues with fake Gabi who wants to get out. Stefan storms in and orders her to let her out immediately ...
