BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS WITH DETAILS ADDED! Abe coaches cane Steve to keep coming at the square. Old friends forever. Abe wants him to walk toward him again for practice ... Dr. Val checks on Lani in the hospital and hopes she is alright. Eli laments there could be a problem. They are waiting for test results ... Jen toys with her chowder at the pub and admits to Eric the good listener she is concerned about both her kids. Abigail has not been the same since Andre died ... Jumpy JJ arrives at DiMera mansion. Chad was hoping he was Abi. JJ also wants to find his suddenly vanished sister ... Lonely Stefan obsesses over fake Gabi and how he misses her ... Marlena meets Dr. Laura in her office, a strong alter indeed. She attempts to be cordial but this alter feels a tad hostile toward her. She texts Chad back pretending to be Abigail. Marlena muses she is Abigail’s alter who helps the girl the way her mother Laura did last time she had a breakdown. She wonders who she heard her arguing with and wants to know about the other voices. Laura dismisses her. Marlena gets she is the gatekeeper. She is and adds she has to protect Abigail, remembering when she told Stefan that Abigail had been the one who killed Andre. Marlena presses her to explain what she is protecting Abigail from. Laura pauses and purses her lips ... Back at DiMera mansion tragic music plays. Chad got a text that Abi is with Jen. He admits he has been stressed. JJ understands and sighs he has been feeling sad and wanted her to make him feel better. Chad offers to listen ... Jen sadly states to Eric that poor JJ was so excited about becoming a father and was so let down. Eric praises how far he has come. Jen sighs what Lani did hurt a lot of people ... Val asks Lani whether she wants her to notify Abe. She promises to respect her wishes ... Steve is sitting on a bench with Abe when Val calls regarding Lani. It is about the baby. Abe is on his way ... Steve stands and falters. Stefan catches him and introduces himself but Steve coolly states he knows exactly who he is ... Laura is elusive about what she is hiding. Marlena knows there must have been a traumatic event in the past to make her want to protect Abigail. Laura claims that is not the case so Marlena does the math and suggests Abigail herself must have done something ... Abe arrives at the hospital. Val updates him on Kayla looking at the sonogram. Abe smiles Val should stay as well since it is also her grandbaby ... Jenny blinks at Eric and thanks him for being such a good listener. He decides to make their date take a cheery turn and whisks her away ... JJ has a drink with Chad and complains about his little league dreams being dashed. As one bro to another Chad assures him he is here for him always ... Steve has recognized Stefan’s voice. And he knows what a troublemaker he has been for a lot of people including his niece Abigail ... Laura gets tight lipped. Marlena points out Abigail was the one who came here asking for her help, which means she will not let Laura leave until she has helped her as promised ... Eric and Jen are munching popcorn watching a romcom on the bed. When things get more romantic than comedic their eyes lock ... Eli is cheering up patient Lani with funny stories. Abe enters with Val. Lani is glad they both came back. Kayla arrives with news. Lani fears the worst. They all wait with bated breath ... JJ senses something is off cos Gabi would not have told Abigail she killed Andre as it is not true. Chad admits he is very worried about his wife ... Marlena threatens to tell Abigail’s family everything if Laura leaves now. She would be within her rights as the patient could be a danger to herself. She does not know the other alters. Laura insists she has it all under control. She warns her Abigail would not be able to deal with knowing the truth ... Stefan plays innocent. Steve calls him a pain in the ass. Stefan claims to care about a part of Abigail that seems to return the sentiment ... Marlena suggests Laura see how strong Abigail can be. She wants a word with her and asks Abigail if she can hear her. She loves her as do many and whispers they want her back. She urges her to come out for help. Laura groans and gets a headache. Marlena urges Abigail to fight her way out. She sits with a sigh and asks Marlena what happened. She feels strange and wonders how much time she lost. Marlena explains she knows what has been happening ... Chad declares Abigail has not been herself since Hong Kong. JJ wants him to explain. Chad dances around the notion of DiMera brainwashing and the fact that Stefan could have orchestrated it ... Steve warns Stefan that Abigail’s husband would have a problem with him being sweet on his wife and warns him he will protect her. Stefan tells Steve he reminds him of an uncle from his past life who looked out for him. Steve frowns ... Dr. Kayla explains the baby’s placenta is partially covering her cervix, hence the cramping. It could correct itself as the baby grows or ... Lani realizes she could lose her baby in such a high risk pregnancy and gets even more stressed ... Jen turns off the TV and Eric teases her. He reminds her they were together before. Yes but that was then this is now. Jen wonders whether he wanted to get her in the mood with the movie. He touches her face and tells her he wants to kiss her. And so they do ... Kayla tries to make Lani feel better but she might have to get more bed rest. Lani is ready to do whatever it takes and thanks her. Abe wants Lani put on desk duty. Eli talks maternity leave. Lani snaps to stop making decisions for her and wants to be alone. But she asks Val to stay ...Chad promises to keep JJ posted and reminds him he is here to talk anytime. JJ says to keep his sister safe and walks out into the night ... Steve warns Stefan O that if he harms anyone in family including Abigail he will go after him. Stefan acts polite and offers to help him on his way. Kayla comes running and warns Stefan away. Steve apologizes for his strong willed wife. Stefan knows a girl like that but does not say whom. He does say Steve is a lucky man. Stefan now runs into JJ, who stares him down and demands to know what he did to his sister ... Abigail is aghast to hear that just like Kimberly she has a case of multiple personalities. Marlena assures her she will help her. They all will and she shall overcome ... Eric stops. Jen breathes why. He wants to check she is alright with this. She kisses him and they passionately come together ... Kayla suggests potato skins at the pub. She is impressed Steve was so strong on his way from the square. He is still her hero and she kisses him. He thanks his lady and kisses her hand ... Eli has a coffee for Abe at the hospital. He assures him he will be here for Lani and baby. He will do right by them both ... Val is sorry Lani was hurt but she did what she had to for her son. She promises not to meddle in her pregnancy but Lani wants her help now. She needs her to tell her the truth and not try and protect her from it. Val promises ... Stefan has no idea what JJ means. JJ warns him to stay away from his sister. Stefan leers will he shoot him like he shot Theo! JJ growls he will take care of his fam so he had better watch his back ... Marlena has another matter to deal with. Abigail asks to leave and promises to return tomorrow. She also asks her to give her time to tell the family. Done. Marlena will see her soon and steps out. Alone Dr. Laura puts her glasses back on and notes Abigail will not be back. Chad calls and she tells him she decided to stay the night with unwell Jen. Chad hopes she is not avoiding him.
