Meanwhile Lucas has just left Chloe at the club. Miguel emerges and pulls a gun on her ... Hope ends a call at the station and informs Chad that Justin is trying to track down a judge for bail. But Chad is mad and desperate to find his wife, who was the victim of Stefan ... Gabby speaks words of love to sleeping Stefan in his hospital room. She woefully states she fears if she leaves him it will be forever. Then she rests her head by his and starts to sing. Stefan stirs though his hands are cuffed to the bed and turns his head toward this tragic alter who stole his heart ... Hope assures Chad they feel his pain. He points out he is furious he found his wife in Stefan’s bed! Hope can relate as she has pictured Sami with Rafe several times. He agrees to focus on finding Abi and asks to be let out. She suggests he be on his best behavior and promises to be back. Chad fights back the tears ... Jen and Eric approach Hope. Jen anxiously asks what is going on. Hope suggests she sit down ... Stefan the Salem patient opens his eyes and Gabby gushes he came back. He wonders where he is. The hospital as Chad attacked him and she could not stop him. He urges her to go and save herself. She hushes him and refuses to leave his side ... Lucas comes across Brady, who stammers he did not do as Eve said. Lucas helps him to his feet. Brady drawls she dumped him as she assumed he rigged the contest and got drunk. Lucas notes he does not seem sober ... At the hospital Steve curses Stefan for brainwashing sweet Abigail. Kayla knows not what his motives were and suggests Steve speak to Rafe, who is probably in his room. She is suddenly contacted by a neuro specialist. Steve insists he will be able to get to the room and back on his own ... Hope slowly updates Jen on Chad’s belief that Stefan brainwashed Abigail into having different identities. Jen cries when she hears Abigail was discovered in his bed and Chad attacked him. Eric assumes Stefan could have killed Andre and set up Abigail to take the fall. Jen goes to see sad mad Chad. They embrace and are both so sorry. Jen asks if he thinks Stefan brainwashed her girl. Chad weeps yes and he also violated her. Then he breaks down ... Stefan weakly warns Gabby to go before the cops come. He fears when they find her they will find out Abigail killed Andre and then all of Abigail’s alters will be locked up. He tells her to run and insists he will find her. She must follow his instructions! She gives him a bittersweet kiss. Enter Steve, who asks for Rafe. Gabby glances at Stefan and stands still ... Chloe demands to know what Miguel did to Lucas. He admits he drugged his drink but the other guy took it! Chloe gasps for Brady. He wants her to come with him. Eve knocks on the door to talk. Miguel tells Chloe to get rid of her fast. Chloe opens the door and smiles a strained smile. Miguel smiles she is accepting his offer in Mexico. Eve is surprised and asks about Lucas. Chloe stares at her with haunted eyes ... Brady admits he feels sick not drunk. Lucas wants to take him to Doug’s Place for coffee. Brady slurs he wants to speak to Eve. Lucas throws him over his shoulder ... Chad informs Jen what he witnessed when he burst into Stefan’s bedroom. Jen cries oh God. Chad than beat on Stefan and Abigail’s screams to stop made him madder. He would have killed the creep had Hope not arrived ... Gabby starts to go but Steve takes her by the arm and asks who this is. Stefan watches from his bed with worry ... Lucas takes Brady to Dr. Kayla at the hospital ... Eve questions Chloe’s change of heart and asks for a word alone. Chloe claims she has much to do and suggests they speak with Miguel present. She hopes Lucas will understand and accept her choice. Eve mutters it might be for the best cos her romance with Brady was a bust. He rigged the Bella contest and was back on the booze. Chloe tells her to give him a chance. Eve is not interested. Miguel points out they have a plane to catch. Chloe stops her friend from leaving just yet ... Dr. Kayla explains Brady’s dilated pupils could be the result of intoxication. Lucas tells her his story. Kayla suggests he get Eve to come down and decides to run a tox screen as his system is flushed ... Hope admits to Eric they think Abigail is in hiding somewhere afraid. They need answers ... Jen wants her daughter back and she wants answers about what Stefan did to her ... Steve knows this is Abigail and is sorry to tell her he cannot let her leave ... As eerie music plays Chloe asks Eve to tell Lucas it made sense for her to leave now especially for him. Eve will try but tells her to tell him herself. Chloe has no time. Miguel seconds the motion. Eve exits. Chloe warns him Lucas will be suspicious so she should speak to him. She begs Miguel not to harm him. Miguel coldly states he will shoot him should he cause any problems ... Lucas calls Eve, who stammers about Chloe making for Mexico. He is stunned and updates her on Brady being hospitalized ... Eric asks Hope for Marlena’s take on the Abigail brainwashing scenario. Hope admits she has been unable to reach her and asks whether his mother was in touch today ... Jen wonders whether this was the doing of Stefano. Chad puts all the blame purely on Stefan ... Gabby denies being Abigail. Steve warns her that Stefan has brainwashed her. She disagrees and demands he let her go, not interested in talking to any of her family. Steve suggests she speak with Kayla. She looks at Stefan, agrees and adds her condition is that he release her ... Phone Eve blames Brady for getting drunk, wishes Lucas luck with Chloe and ends the call. Eve now notices the selfie on her phone of the four friends and gets a crise de conscience ... Lucas tries to call Chloe. She begs Miguel to reconsider cos she has a son. He warns her to be convincing when she writes ... Lucas wonders what is going on ... Hope gets a call from Rafe about Gabi’s attack. She is stunned, sorry and tells Eric. She races off as Eric assures her he will try and track down mama Marlena ... Chad gasps Stefan wanted to steal all that he loved. He fears how Abigail must feel after what he did. Jen weeps they need their girl back ... Steve is no fool and will not let Abigail go, suspicious of Stefan’s DiMera style mind control. She assures him she is alright but he knows better. That girl would not have walked away from her husband and son to be with a snake. She warns she will run so he counters the cops will catch her. First she has to talk to Kayla. Gabby agrees and together they walk out as Stefan soap stares... …Brady is asleep in his hospital bed. Eve enters and sadly stares ... Lucas gets to the club but there is no sign of Chloe. He comes across a letter she left for him ... Miguel makes Chloe move fast through the square. She wants to know about his boss and why. All in good time ... Eric leaves Marlena an anxious voice message. Jen joins him and asks about Justin getting Chad’s bail. Not just yet. She cries on his shoulder about her daughter. Meanwhile Chad remembers catching Stefan with his wife, wanting to kill him as she cried she loved Stefan, then cradled his head. His eyes stare coldly ahead ... Stefan is restless in his room and whispers for Gabby to run ... Gabby pushes Steve, who calls for someone to stop her and soon finds herself face to face with Hope.
