Upon hearing there are about 15 trained marksmen on him, he inches back over the rocks and purposely falls back, into the sound of rushing water. The rocks and raging current make the stocky man with the gun doubt the escaper could have survived the fall. - Meanwhile, Rafe 2 looks up from the hood of his car, having heard a noise. He curses upon seeing Ciara and Theo and ducks. No luck. He is spotted. The kids admit they are running away. Ciara begs him not to tell anyone or make them go back. He drawls he will not, it is cool by him. But then they must keep his secret and not tell anyone they ever saw him. Ciara promises. Theo stares. "I can't lie!" he repeats. Rafe 2 gets impatient. Either they do this his way or ... they don't want to know! - Nicole and EJ enter the DiMera mansion with NEW TAYLOR (Tamara Braun). EJ gets off the phone. Nicole states it has been quite a week and suggests they all have a stiff drink. Taylor would rather talk to her about something. She cannot stay here. She will go pack her things. EJ pouts. Nicole insists what happened to Fay was not her fault. She asks EJ to tell her the same. He does. Tay explains it is not about that. Nicole wonders what it is about. EJ blinks. Tay points out there is no need for her to be there. Besides, the two are newlyweds. Nicole appeals to EJ to convince her to stay. He gets a call and steps away. Tay insists her mind is made up. Nicole wants her to at least to spend the night, as she was just in an accident. EJ saunters back, looking dismal. "Theo is missing." The focus changes. Can they help? EJ replies they can wait. The police have issued an Amber alert. Taylor leaves to be with Lexie. EJ asks her to tell her he loves her. Exit Tay. Nicole wonders if he is going too. He does not think he would be welcome by the others affected. Nicole declares such news makes her want to hug Johnny and Sydney. EJ knows they are fine with Samantha. Nicole, however, is concerned. When she spoke to Rafe, he did not seem to know when the kids would be back. And then he just left town. EJ claims he is not surprised. Nicole exclaims the kids love him and will be heartbroken. EJ retorts it was bound to happen and he feels pretty good about it! Furthermore, he doubts Rafe even likes children. Nicole insists Sydney and Johnny do adore him. EJ flippantly states this it will pass. Furthermore, he has other things on his mind. Enter Stefano. He wants to speak to his son alone. EJ replies he already knows about Theo. Nicole bitterly thanks him for asking about her mother's funeral - which he did not - and walks out. The phoenix is dismayed his son was not in town. He has an announcement. The imposter is gone from Salem. EJ already knows, as Nicole heard it from his brother. And she is convinced something is going on regarding Hernandez and him. That is why they must be nicer to her. He does not want her to see the divorce coming! Stefano is stunned. Divorce? He has been married to Nicole for less than 3 months! He wanted the kids to have her to lessen the blow when Rafe was gone. And now the children are about to lose Rafael for good. Such bad timing! EJ drawls Nicole has morphed into a blond Miss Marple. The phoenix makes a snide remark about the bookkeeper not sleeping with him. EJ warns him to watch it, he is on thin ice. Papa phoenix barks that he is out of his mind! He was an idiot to marry Nicole in the first place but now he is willing to turn the kids' live upside down all because he has the hots for his wife's sister! That one is playing her part brilliantly. She has become his dream woman, as she will not give in to him. EJ snaps not to talk like that. Stefano sighs he seems to think he loves her. "God help all of us!" - At the Kiriakis mansion, Brady drawls to Vic they are indeed still family, though he is no grandpa Walton. He is on probation. And he wants him to treat him like an adult. Victor pours himself a drink and gets sarcastic. It would be nice if he had someone on his side. Brady retorts there is. And her name is Melanie! - Maggie interrupts Mel lambasting Chloe at the pier. She orders her to stop, much to Mel's surprise. Maggie would like to talk to Melanie alone. Chloe repeats to Mel she is sorry and walks off. Mel thinks Maggie has betrayed her by taking sides against her. Maggie points out she was just attacking the girl. Mel points out she has ruined lives and yet they still defend her. The redhead, however, is more worried about Mel, who is morphing into Victor Kiriakis! Mel snaps she tried, but all bets were off after Chloe blew it with Parker. She is also tired of making nice. Maggie explains Chloe, unlike her, has a bleak future, And she never intentionally hurt anyone. She suspects Mel knows, though she continues to condemn her like a criminal. She is just a woman who needs acceptance, guidance and Maggie will offer it to her. Mel starts to cry that Maggie seems to be ignoring her and she needs acceptance and guidance from her, too. Now she will not be able to see her as she lives with Chloe. Maggie insists she can come and see her anytime. Mel laments Chloe being there would upset her. The redhead suggests they can meet elsewhere. "I will always be there for you." Mel, however, does not agree and walks away in tears, unhappy and admittedly confused. - Bo enters the Brady house so Hope and Lexie update him on the hot lead. "We gotta find that truck!" declares the commiss. Hope already did. They went to Centerville. Bo now gets a call from the Centerville P.D. A teen runaway was found with Ciara's necklace, but she will not say how she got it. Hope thinks she will tell her. The gang are on their way! - At the Brady pub, Vivian and Gus discuss their latest findings. She is frustrated they have been unable to identify the mysterious prisoner yet and raises her eyes to the heavens. - Bo and Hope arrive at the Centerville police station. Hope is aghast to hear the young girl has a record for prostitution. Hope introduces herself to the teen and asks where she saw Ciara. Leah wants a lawyer. They explain they have no jurisdiction, so there is no cause for alarm, but they can help her. Leah now recognizes Hope as the serial man mugger. No wonder Ciara ran away! Bo offers her a deal. If she helps them find their daughter, they will help her get off the streets. Leah refuses. Bo brings up the name of her pimp and threatens to tell him she was working his turf and keeping the money. He growls he will do anything to get his daughter back. Leah relents. - Chloe and Nicole meet up at the Cheatin Heart. Nicole complains about EJ and Stefano's foul mood. Something is going on. She is shocked to learn that Phillip left town with Parker. She is very sorry for her friend. She must fight back! Chloe wonders if her spending time with son Parker would even be good for him. - Taylor gets an optimistic update from Lexie, who now notices her ankle. Tay explains she was in an accident with EJ. Lexie is all ears. Tay claims it was not important and gets flustered. She admits things got intense. "Nothing happened." But the next time could be different so is she leaving Salem asap. The friends get sentimental. Lexie reminds her if she tries to run away, there is no guarantee that EJ will not follow her. - Back at the Kiriakis mansion, Mel sits with Brady on the sofa, her head resting on his shoulder. She laments Maggie said she was like Victor and sided with Chloe. Brady tries to make her feel better. Victor enters and states he is sorry, as Maggie is really mad at him. She is also dead wrong about Chloe! Later, Mel continues to complain to Brady about Chloe. He promises her he is always on her side. She knows, though she is admittedly a mess. Brady announces she needs R and R and he intends to take care of her. She can throw things, cry on his shoulder, and do whatever she needs, until she is back to her old self again. Mel thanks him for being him and they embrace. He pats her head. - Outside, Victor approaches Maggie and charmingly thanks her. He and Brady seem to have a new start and he thinks,as always, she is somehow responsible. Maggie wonders why he cannot be as forgiving with Chloe. Victor understands Maggie's compassion, but he is concerned she might get pulled under by that one. Maggie retorts she is tough. He chuckles he already knows. Maggie assures him that she is still praying for Ciara and Theo. The Greek tycoon drawls that is good, as God probably listens better to her, and saunters off ... - Back at the pub, Viv decides to go to Stefano and use her feminine wiles to win him over. "We're screwed!" quips Gus and follows her out. - Back at the Cheatin Heart, Nicole confides to Chloe that she suspects EJ had something to do with Rafe's accident. And now Rafe is gone! The accident would have been impossible to plan, yet somehow has the mark of EJ on it. Boggles the mind ... - Back at the DiMera mansion, EJ coolly starts to depart. Stefano gets an unexpected call. "What!" he bellows. EJ waits. - Back at the Centerville Station, Leah confides to Bo and Hope that she saw Ciara by a diner. Bo is on his way! - Back at the woods, Rafe 2 asks Theo if they are cool. "No!" snaps the boy. Rafe 2 sighs that is the wrong answer. He grabs him to prevent him from leaving just as Bo shows up! - Now at the pier, Viv assures flunky Gus she can still win over Stefano with raw sex appeal, even though they did not find out the identity of the secret prisoner. She tosses the paper in the trash and they keep walking. Nicole comes around the corner and fishes out the paper. She quietly reads it, baffled that it concerns DNA results of a prisoner. She flashes back to learning of renovations in the basement and wonders what EJ has really been up to! - Meanwhile, Stefano hears from the asylum handler on his phone that his prisoner escaped and he is now DEAD!
