Eli escorts Lani into his room and assures her they can solve this case! He heads downstairs to get some food. Lani sits on the bed without a word ... At the square Tripp tells Ciara about Claire’s text to Wyatt. She wonders and texts Claire pretending to be Wyatt using his phone ... Eve greets Claire outside Doug’s Place with congratulations for winning the contest. Claire gushes she is not gonna blow it ... At the Kiriakis mansion Brady is ready for his date with Eve and tells Maggie. Lucas walks in with an announcement ... Julie teases Chloe they might buy her out as they run the place without her and urges her to go far far away with her dreams. Chloe declares her dream is in Salem so she stays. Meanwhile Miguel assures his boss on the phone he will finish off Lucas so no one comes between Chloe and the offer ... Eve talks contract. Claire is a tad surprised. She then gets excited when Eve states she will have celebrity status. Eve adds she will be defined by any slip she makes for the rest of her life from now on. Claire pauses ... Ciara and Tripp guess Wyatt’s password ... Suited Brady and Lucas agree no boozing tonight as Maggie marvels at their happiness. Lucas is going out with Chloe to celebrate, as are Brady and Eve. The redhead is proud of them both. Lucas is just relieved Chloe decided to stay. Maggie muses Chloe and Eve are lucky and ushers them out for the fine evening. So far so good ... Julie appears disappointed that Chloe turned down the operatic offer. Eve is surprised. Chloe recalls what a lonely life it was before. Besides Lucas happens to be here. Such a good man! Julie quips she has a club to run and steps away. Chloe hopes Eve will not lecture her. Eve admits she is busy giving Brady another chance ... At the loft Claire tries to practice being a star. Meanwhile Tripp and Ciara are unable to find any more texts sent between Claire and Wyatt on his phone. Ciara replies as Wyatt telling Claire about his hot bike ride with Ciara. Claire replies they both got what they wanted ... Eli has nachos and hot stuff for Lani, who is feeling nauseous on the bed. He offers French cuisine. She exclaims her baby is not a case and this is no stakeout this is her life! She runs into the bathroom. Eli calls someone for assistance. Lani returns from the loo and decides to leave. Julie is at the door with dinner from Doug’s Place. She insists she eat for the sake of the babe in her belly. Healthy salmon, sweet potatoes, kale and milk for mama. Lani loves it. Julie already loves her great grandchild. Lani asks Eli to join her and thanks Julie, who sees the paper on high risk pregnancies and gets worried ... Ciara concludes Wyatt wanted her and Claire wanted to win the contest. Tripp sends the next text as Wyatt assuming she means the contest. Claire takes the bait and texts back of course cos she won cos of him (Wyatt). Busted! Back at the club, Eve confesses to Chloe that she lost a bet to Brady, which is why she has to date Brady. Chloe suspects she wanted it to be so. She also thinks they both deserve a second chance at love. Brady and Lucas arrive and spot the glamorous girls ... Eli insists the baby is alright. Lani fibs the reading was just research. She adds she has the best doctor and Eli! Julie offers to help and announces she is now on call 24/7. She shall call Lani daily and accompany her to all doctor appointments. Eli appreciates it but really they are fine. Julie wants live streaming. Eli promises to keep her posted. Julie jokes to be patient with him and exits. Lani laughs she now knows where he gets the controlling side from and thanks him for trying ... Maggie kisses Victor at Kiriakis mansion, happy as a clam that Brady and Eve are trying again. He quips that woman will ruin Brady's life ... Brady sits with his lady at the club and soap stares, gushing how gorgeous she is. She wants to order. He teases he won big with their bet. From now on he will prove to her they are perfect together ... Chloe sits with love struck Lucas, who is surprised Miguel seems to have given up. Meanwhile Miguel is outside looking sinister. He glances around and then approaches the door, his face drawn with danger ... Maggie argues to Victor that Eve is still better than Theresa, who abandoned Brady and Tate. Victor alludes to it being more than that and warns Brady will only get his heart broken by Eve the black widow. Once alone he calls ISA Shane Donovan. It is about his daughter Theresa ... Eve concedes Brady is handsome as Chloe gushes to Lucas she made a good choice ... Eli apologizes for being insensitive earlier. He knows Lani misses JJ and admits he misses Gabi. Lani is sorry about her predicament as he is. He suggests they trust each other as friends ... Tripp sits Ciara down before she does something impulsive. They would need proof against Claire and could Wyatt actually fix the contest? Ciara tells him how high tech Wyatt is and refuses to stop. She texts Claire good thing he could fix the votes. Claire texts back yes and it is their secret. Ciara fumes she is going to be finished now! Tripp suggests she let it slide. She has no need to be a new face of anything. Besides Claire will be haunted by what she did. Let her have all the magazine covers! Ciara sighs then what will she have?? Tripp grins she gets him ... Lani tries to be upbeat about the baby with Eli but his eyes reflect his worry ... Victor is relieved that Theresa is alright. It was quite a sacrifice she made to be with dangerous Mateo in Mexico so he would not harm Brady or Tate. He is also relieved she has Shane to look out for her. Maggie has returned ... Miguel approaches Julie at the bar pretending to be a big Chloe fan. He orders a bottle of her best champagne sent to her anonymously. Julie notes she is sitting with a recovered alcoholic. He suggests champagne for Chloe and club soda for her date. When Julie turns away to get the little umbrella he drugs the drink intended for Lucas. Julie carries over the tray and is vague as promised. Miguel walks out. Chloe asks for drinks for Eve and Brady so they can toast together ... Lani admits to Eli she is feeling overwhelmed. He can relate as they are both rookies when it comes to babies. But together they will make a great team. They shake on being partners ... Ciara apologizes for her earlier anger toward Tripp. He is on her side no matter what she decides. She decides to sock it to Claire who is not as innocent as she acts ... Wyatt comes to the loft to see if Ciara has his cell phone. Claire gasps in horror and now gets a text from Ciara aka Wyatt calling her a lying beech ... Maggie has overheard Victor speaking nicely of Theresa. She hopes the girl is getting help but she thanks God Brady found someone else. Victor frowns ... Lucas and Chloe join Brady and Eve with club soda for the boys, champagne for the girls. They toast to new beginnings and Lucas starts to sip his club soda. This will not end well ...! STAY TUNED |
