Ciara is walking with Wyatt at the square and smugly asks server Tripp for a table for two. They are back from their ride on Bo’s bike. Wyatt will be back in a second and Tripp expresses his concern. Ciara scoffs at least he voted for her so get them a table ... At Doug’s Place Julie the vision in red struggles with the reservations software. Claire comes in to celebrate alone cos she is the new face of Bella. She assumes Julie’s silence is as she is still upset she crashed Hope’s wedding ... Rafe shoves raging Chad against the DiMera wall. Blood gurgles from Stefan’s mouth. Hope is desperate for an ambulance! At the park Gabby calls the cops for Stefan and gasps she cannot lose the man she loves. Along comes Steve, who immediately recognizes Abigail’s voice ... JJ is a paramedic in training today doing a great job already. He confides to Dr. Kayla how good it feels to help others. She knows it ... Steve touches Abigail’s shoulder ... Hope informs Rafe an ambulance is on its way as a woman called 911. Chad exclaims he caught Abigail in Stefan’s bed and he needs to find her! On the floor Stefan opens his eyes gasping for Gaaaaabby ... Claire complains about Julie siding with Ciara and against her. Julie assures her she is grateful she stopped Hope from marrying a cheater. Claire claims Ciara hates her but she won the contest. Alas the family is acting like they don’t care plus Theo is peeved ... Ciara sits at a table with Wyatt, having forgiven him for the past. She complains Tripp has not come back for the order. Wyatt excuses himself to the washroom. Tripp comes back and insists he is not jealous. She accuses him of choosing Claire the cheater before her. Tripp knows Claire tried to cheat but she did not succeed ... Paramedic JJ gets a call from dispatch. Kayla hears he has been summoned to DiMera mansion as someone has a serious head injury. She hopes it is not Abigail or Thomas ... Steve asks if this is Abigail. Gabby replies yes and he asks why so upset. She fibs she fought with Chad. Steve is sympathetic. She shares that Chad did a bad thing ... Hope puts out an APB for Abigail. Rafe stops Chad from fleeing and Hope announces he is being arrested for aggravated assault. Rafe slaps the cuffs on him. Chad cannot believe it ... Before he is taken away, JJ notes Stefan’s vitals seem stable. Rafe grumbles he is getting arrested as soon as he wakes up. He admits he has no clue where Abigail went ... Once at the station cuffed Chad panics about Abigail’s whereabouts. He is desperate for Hope to find her and agrees to have no attorney as he has no time to waste. She updates him on the security footage as he wipes Stefan’s blood from his knuckles. She sadly states the mystery woman was Abigail in a wig. He sighs he saw her with the wig tonight and blames Stefan for brainwashing her. Stefan even admitted it to him plus he violated his wife! Gabby complains to Steve about Chad continuously confronting Stefan. Steve suggests Stefan provokes him on purpose. She calls Stefan a good man. Steve reminds her he is the sinister son of Stefano. He sounds concerned and states they are family. Gabby gets a splitting headache and real Abigail attempts to come out. Gabby tells her to shut up. Steve wonders who she was speaking to when she says it was not him and takes off. Alas Steve is unable to stop her ... Claire admits to Julie she asked Theo to rig the contest. He refused but she won by a vote. Julie deduces she did not cheat after all. Claire recalls an incidental meeting with Wyatt, her suggestion he help her beat Ciara. Wyatt was still smarting over upsetting Ciara and losing her. Claire suggested if Ciara lost by one vote, her current boyfriend’s vote ... Wyatt was in! She reasoned Ciara would hate Tripp and he would be able to win her back ... Back to reality. Julie gives the blonde princess a dubious look ... Tripp tells Ciara that Theo turned down Claire's crazy cheating request. Ciara concludes then it was Tripp’s fault she lost. He wishes she would forgive him and reminds her she forgave Wyatt the liar. Wyatt returns and asks for a burger. Tripp walks away and runs into lone ranger Steve. He senses his son is bothered about something ... Hope uncuffs Chad and is sympathetic. She promises Stefan will pay. Chad worries what else he did to Abigail, who was acting like she loved the cad. She even called herself Gabby. He blames Stefan for brainwashing her. Hope wonders whether Stefano was also involved. Negative. He knows it was all Stefan and growls the sob must have made her believe she was Gabi! She was even wearing Gabi Chic clothes at the mansion. He weeps Stefan murdered Andre, accosted his wife and set her up ... JJ pushes Stefan's gurney in. Dr. Kayla orders a CT scan. Rafe wants to question him. Not yet and she warns he might not make it given the bleeding on the brain scenario ... Gabby silently slips into the hospital Rafe’s back is turned to her ... Claire fibs her followers won the contest for her. She flashes back to assuring Wyatt that Ciara was still into him…. Julie assures Claire that she is a good friend to Ciara. Claire sighs not exactly ... Tripp sits at a table with Steve and tells him his tale of woe about Claire winning by one vote, his vote! Steve the sage notes Ciara is as strong willed and stubborn as her folks ... Hope cannot reach Kate or Marlena to ask about Abigail. Chad thunders this was all Stefan wanting everything that was his – his family, his powerful position and his wife ... JJ assures Rafe that the patient will not be able to escape but he worries about Abigail Gabby secretly listens unseen ... Kayla emerges and explains Stefan is not out of the woods. In addition, there seems to have been neurological damage. Rafe drawls what are his chances? Kayla replies 50/50. Abigail, still believing she is Gabby, overhears ... Julie suspiciously asks what Claire did that was not nice to Ciara. Claire confesses she tried to get Theo to cheat. Julie notes it did not happen. Claire gushes all her dreams of stardom are going to come true. Julie tells her to love thy family and stay true to oneself ... Wyatt loved spending time with Ciara but should go to his last class of the day. Next time he can drive the bike. Only when she trusts him enough. Tripp glares at the happy pair ... Hope curses as she is unable to reach Jen. She could be out of town on assignment. Chad laments Abigail appears to be avoiding the whole family anyway including him ... Back at the hospital, Kayla is unable to reach Vivian via phone and asks JJ if he knows of any other next of kin. Only Chad. Rafe warns JJ that his sister seems unstable and has been wearing a wig. Matter of fact she is the mystery woman who last saw Andre. They believe Stefan brainwashed and used her to cover up his crime. JJ gets more worried by the minute. Gabby soap stares around the corner as quiet as a mouse. Rafe continues. He is relieved they will be able to exonerate his sister Gabi as she committed no crime. But now he gets a call that shocks him to the core. Gabby quietly considers her options ... Back at the club Claire is now alone. She texts Wyatt asking about Ciara ... Tripp tries to hand Ciara the phone that Wyatt left in the loo and sees the message from Claire ... Rafe is on his way and updates JJ on Gabi’s attack in prison. JJ insists on accompanying him. Gabby stands alone by the elevator. Steve slowly happens along, pauses, and keeps going to see sweetness in her office. She hugs him and tells him how Stefan severely beat Chad. Abigail is also missing. Surprised Steve states but he was just with her ... Back at the station Hope warns Chad that Stefan could die. Then he would be charged with murder must foul. He cares not, he only cares about his wife ... Meanwhile as tragic music plays Gabby sits at Stefan’s bedside and promises not to leave him. He sleeps on and she lets out a soap sigh ...
