Only Gabi and Sonny and Kate knew he went to see Abigail at Smith Island. Who the hell else knows! He continues talking to himself and calls advertising. He needs dates and photographs, starting with the exact day Samantha went to Chicago. - At the club, Sonny gets off the phone with Will, sighing he knows not how Nick found the slick lawyer. There stands Abigail, admitting she sent him to the lawyer! Abigail feels badly but Sonny thinks he would have found the lawyer on his own anyway. Abigail seems to believe he has changed. Sonny suspects he will end up hurting Gabi - and Will. He cannot let it happen! - At the park, Sami is not interested in Nick's tough talk and starts to walk away. Nick threatens to make her and her loved ones regret it. He demands her utmost respect. Sami turns around and accuses him of taunting and torturing them. He reminds her she tried to kill him. He did try to be nice. That river was cold! Sami suggests that Gabi would not approve of his threat. Nick assures her the peace agreement stands. They will be in the clear but only if he gets everything his demented heart desires ... - Rafe is at the town square leaving a message for Gabi to call, he needs to hear her voice. Tough guy Ben wants to talk. He is hereby putting him on notice! Cowboy Rafe puts his hands in his pockets and says to say what he wants. Unshaven Ben reminds him he told him not to hurt Jordan but now he sees Rafe could hurt her and vows to protect her. He has never seen her in deep like this! Rafe gets sarcastic. Ben finishes by telling him to back away unless he is serious about his sister. Then he goes. Rafe gets it and calls Jordan with a message to get in touch. - At the hospital, Anne poses for pictures for Eric, who smiles the camera likes her. Madame Milbauer boasts she was a child theatrical star but alas gave up the life for more serious things. Eric humors her and then brings up Theresa. He urges Anne not to continue to cover up his cousin's involvement in what happened to Dan. They could both end up in jail! Madame Milbauer accuses the former father of acting in a threatening manner. He should show some support for Theresa! Eric, however, is committed to keeping the girl away from bad influences and if a bad influence like Anne Milbauer finds that threatening, that is fine by him! He leaves and Anne scoffs. - In the office, Dan continues to try and corner Theresa into a confession. She is upset he does not believe her. He snaps would she believe her! He senses she at the very least knows who is responsible for drugging him and mentions Anne's name. He gets closer and dangerously warns her to give it up! Theresa is petrified. She regains her composure and calls him paranoid. He thunders to tell him the truth! She acts indignant. Dan points out she planted those pills and his Parker could have found them and died! Theresa is stunned. Dan rages there is no safe place to stash pills in an apartment with a 4-year-old! HR Anne enters and haughtily wonders what the commotion is all about. - At the cabin, Jen opens the door. She and Lucas startle one another. They both are in a bad way. He assumes she is in a bad way all because of Daniel. Jen gets defensive and wishes he and everyone else would leave Dan the good man alone! Besides, what is Lucas doing here? Lucas explains he went kayaking and needed to get away, as far away from Kate as possible, matter of fact. He suggests they talk about their respective foul moods. First and foremost, why was Dan high in surgery? Jen does not believe he willingly used drugs. Lucas wonders whether she really knows him. Jen is tired of hearing that! Lucas assures her he cares about his big sister. Jen flashes back to the pills, her conclusion it was a setup. She laments to Lucas that someone is out to destroy Daniel! A frown creases his brow as he asks who. Jen shrugs her shoulders. - Liam has literally just stopped Nicole at his safety deposit box and calmly wonders what the hell she thinks she is doing. Pause. He gets the key back and leers he will deal with his ex wife for passing this on. Now to deal with Nicole ... She sheepishly wonders what he intends to do. He intends to expose her dirty little secret! He will expose her to the ex priest and then his buddy Dan. She warns he would also incriminate himself in the process. Liam argues all she has is a random sighting of him in the hall, whereas he has a document she tried to shred into oblivion, then burn for good measure. And that document would prove Eric's innocence! If not Dan or the priest, somebody will believe him and he threatens to tell that somebody. Nicole doubts anyone would believe him and sweetly suggests he give her what she came for. They can go their separate ways, then forget they ever met. Liam taunts the document is in his pocket, not the safety deposit box. Nicole calls him sexy and starts to touch his chest. He grabs her wrist in a twist. Nicole winces. A female bank employee enters and asks if everything is alright. Liam pretends his wife was just saying goodbye and kisses Nicole's hand. She plays along and departs, relieved to make her great escape. Liam smiles at the bank employee. - Abigail coyly smiles at Ben at the club. Boss Sonny asks him to handle a beer delivery and so out back he goes. Abigail touches her hair. Sonny approaches her table to apologize if he sounded like he was cross earlier. Abigail understands. Sonny now teases that the guy she was just checking out, Ben, considers her hot too. She touches her hair again and gasps in delight. - EJ is staring at the picture of himself and Abigail kissing which was anonymously delivered in the green envelope. He flashes back to Abigail assuring him she had told no one and would die if anyone knew what they had done. Back to reality. EJ tells himself someone found out and that someone must have wanted something on him. He now gets a callback about the exact date he was seeking. January 3. That was the day Abigail took the ferry to Smith Island. Someone had to know why she was on it and followed her. EJ is determined to get to that someone before they get to his fiancée! - Sami states blackmail is not the way. Nick reminds her she threw him in the river and refuses to let her question his actions. He is merely fighting for Gabi. They want to be together again, they belong together. Sami will be the one who makes sure nothing comes between him and the girl of his dreams! Dangerous drums play. Sami pokes fun at Gabi not buying her acting like she thinks Nick is a great guy. Nick wants something else - that she not let Will's lawyer bring up his past. Sami states she has no such influence. Nick notes she has powers of persuasion. Bottom line is that if Will's lawyer uses his past to gain the advantage over Gabi, then they will all regret it and will go to jail! Sami stares in dismay. Nick thanks her in advance for her cooperation. - EJ orders photos and footage of the waiting area for the ferry to Smith Isle on January 3 after 4pm. His flunky at the other end of the line calls it a tough task. EJ snaps of course it is not easy, otherwise he would bloody do it himself! He tells his man to get creative and get the job done or else! He slams the phone down and paces as he waits, expecting results. - Ben comes back to offer Abigail a coffee refill. She says no thanks. Decaf? He explains he is trying to keep busy. His shift is over soon and he is grateful for any hours. She sweetly wonders where he worked before. Not in Salem. Ben is on the verge of asking her out when her phone rings. She takes off, adding she will certainly see him later. Ben sighs about his lack of smoothness with the ladies. - Anne points a long finger at Dan and snaps he is not reinstated until tomorrow so ... get out! Exit Dan. Theresa updates her on the latest developments. Anne warns her she cannot drag her down. She had nothing to do with the drugging or the planted drugs. Theresa screams neither did she! Anne points out she was the one with the key to Dan's apartment, so if not her, then who was it? Theresa starts to sweat. - Jen petulantly decides not to discuss this any further lest Lucas use it against Dan. Lucas thinks he is going a great job of destroying himself. He urges his smitten sister to open her eyes cos he is not the bad guy in this. Exit Lucas. - Liam informs the bank employee he is not done so she steps away. He now opens his safety deposit box. - Nicole realizes Liam will expose her unless she can stop him first. She notices an incoming call from Eric, though she cannot talk at the moment. She is on her way to speak with one who can help stop Liam the loon in his tracks! - Lucas has been summoned to the club by Sonny. He has a gift box from him and Will, who is busy with the baby. Tis a framed photo of the three of them at the wedding, with the inscription YOUR WORDS MEANT THE WORLD TO US. Lucas is touched and asks about wedded bliss. He realizes something is amiss when Sonny gets a dark look on his handsome face. - Sami bursts into DiMera mansion just seconds after EJ has locked the damning photo in the desk drawer. Sami wishes the river had done its job and swallowed up Nick for good! EJ calmly asks wot the problem is this time. The custody agreement. She knows Nick is going to do everything in his power to take Arianna away from Will! - Abigail has arranged to meet Nick at the park. He explains he is pressed for time. She gets right to the point and blurts out she knows that he met with that lawyer. - Madame Milbauer is not willing to risk her image and upcoming article. Theresa insists she got rid of the key. Anne threatens to file a report about this new discovery. Realizing she is now alone, Theresa decides to go home. Anne coldly agrees that would be for the best. - Nicole sips her coffee at the pub as Rafe solemnly presses her about her problem. The reporter needs help. She is doing some digging on a story about a sinister sales rep for a drug company. The problem is, the object of her investigation has dirt on her too. Rafe wants to know what. - Dan is at his apartment, dismayed Jen is not picking up at the cabin. Meanwhile, back at the cabin, Jen opens her door to the water heater repairman. She hopes it will not take long for she needs to catch the next ferry back to town. - Liam conceals the gun from his safety deposit box under his belt and goes on his way, his footsteps brisk and purposeful. - Lucas hopes there are no marital problems. Sonny insists things are good, better than ever in fact, and gets his father-in-law his coffee. Lucas assures him he can tell him anything. Sonny is not so sure about that anything part. Lucas immediately suspects Nick is at it again ... - Sami rages and hyperventilates about Nick's demand, slipping in she had no idea EJ was Will's lawyer. When EJ learns of Nick's latest demand, he is rather amused. Sami snaps he can use the incriminating photos to send them to prison. EJ drawls Gabi would not allow it but Sami has her doubts about Gabi, who is already under Nick's control. - Nick will not discuss the custody issue with Abigail, who does not approve of his involvement. He thinks everyone is turning away from Gabi for choosing to be with him. He now accuses Abigail of it too. - Eric drops by Dan's place and the medicine man has much on his mind. He admits that he and Jen might have been wrong. - Nicole just wants Liam to get busted before he can take her down and she wants Rafe to do it! - Sami slams down her water. EJ muses Nick is bluffing. She gasps he has the pictures of them down by the river. EJ muses he is a mere pest but if he morphs into more, then naturally he will be DEALT WITH. - Lucas questions the nature of Nick's latest threat. It concerns custody. Lucas refuses to let that bastard mess with Will's happiness ... - Abigail reminds Nick how cruel he was with Will and Sonny in the past. Nick gets miffed. People put those two on a pedestal but what about his happiness! Abigail stammers this custody thing should be about Gabi and Sonny and Will. It is not his business. Nick looms over her and leers not to tell him what is and isn't his business. Ben leaps forward and grabs him by the collar, ready to rough him up.Abigail gasps what is he doing?! - Terrified Theresa calls mama Kim long distance to thank her for her support and sighs she misses her. She hopes to come home for a visit. How about today! She can be on the next flight ... - Dan admits to Eric that he thinks he could be missing something in this story. - The bank employee finds Jen's fallen picture on the floor and picks it up. - Rafe makes a few calls and gets the goods on subject Liam for Nicole. Domestic violence and stalking charges, but nothing went to trial. Nicole wants him to bring him in for questioning. No can do as this is not a police state. Nicole implores him to help her out. Rafe drawls there could be another way to make him go away. Nicole says just do it! - Jen cannot get any cell phone reception at the cabin and decides to get going. She picks up her keys and her purse and turns around, only to find Liam standing silently in the doorway. The loon has landed! END |
