There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Chad points out to papa Stefano he poured himself some vintage scotch as he settles in to their telephone call. Stefano smiles as he speaks to the mini him, musing he is ahead with his brandy, then asks about Abigail. Chad chuckles about the way she assumed she was his date. The talk turns to Zoe and Stefano has an idea for his son, advising him to have Zoe do an in depth expose on Clyde ...Attorney Aiden is with Ben and Abi at Ben's apartment as they strategize. He states the interest from the FBI stems from some recent gambling related busts at Ben's old workplace,connected to a criminal called Walenski, whom he assumes Ben never even knew. Pause. Aiden perceives his client's concerned stare and suggests Abi give them their privacy. She refuses, seeing no reason ... Marlena and hungry Hope meet at the town square. Marlena almost chokes on her wine when Hope mentions John texting her about being out of town. This is the first the bewildered blonde has heard of it ... Sonny solemnly returns to the apartment, where woeful Will awaits. The baby is not home so Will urges him to let him have it. He knows he wants to ... Adrienne acts innocent. Victor cackles he knows Lucas is with or on her in that big bed. They gasp. The Greek goes downstairs ... Clyde catches up with Kate at the nightclub, wondering what she has been up to ... Sonny snaps this cannot go away the way Will wants and addresses the fact that he lied to John cos Paul never could have coerced him! Will sulks and stands his ground ... Lucas tells the woman he loves how sorry he is but this can be fixed. They both get dressed and descend the staircase,to deal with the wrath of the mighty Victor Kiriakis .. Lucas explains he is entirely to blame. The Greek growls at married woman Adrienne cheating on her husband who was away trying to make a living. Lucas interrupts Justin cheated first and meets his glare. The Greek glowers Justin is his family, however,and reminds them they are in the house of the Kiriakis dynasty ... Clyde complains to Kate he suspects his son is being targeted by Chad DiMera,who has set his sights on Abigail ...Ben sighs he was sort of connected to the wicked Walenski as a guy who worked for him asked him to send some referrals his way. Gambling clients, nothing more ... Victor refuses to listen to any excuse and exclaims he intends to tell Justin about his cheating wife in 24 hours if she does not! Now he wants a word alone with Lucas ... Hope hopes John and Marlena will overcome this frost. Her friend assures her they will and sips her wine ... Will thinks Sonny does not really know Paul the player. Sonny snaps Will is the only one he doesn't seem to know. Will sighs he wishes Sonny had come to him first about this instead of speaking with another. Sonny replies he spoke to no one, he merely heard it from John, who has just left Salem to search for Paul. Will gets upset he intends to return with him to Salem and works himself into a state about Sonny somehow encouraging Paul,who is after him. John even told him he saw Paul making moves. Sonny sighs it was a mere misunderstanding. He finally answers his frantically ringing phone. Tis tearful Adrienne, who insists this is important. Exit Sonny. He soon meets his morose mother at the park. She explains it is about an affair. Sonny already knows Justin has been untrue. Adrienne adds she and Lucas... Sonny is somewhat surprised the two grandparents found their way into bed together but promises to support her all the way. Adrienne laments Kate knows and now Victor too, who ordered her out of the mansion. Sonny sweetly offers to speak with Victor but she believes that might not be necessary. Mother and son share an emotional embrace,wishing the best for their respective rocky relationships ... Victor lets Lucas know he will provide him with a reference letter and substantial severance. It is when he grins he got his car towed that Lucas gets a bad feeling.He was parked nowhere near the mansion. That means Victor must have known from someone ... before he came home. A frown creases his suspicious brow ... Kate gets a call from Victor to come to the mansion right away ... Chad chuckles about his father's brilliance bringing even bigger doubt about Ben into Abigail's fair head ... Aiden wishes Ben had not withheld the Walenski world Ben was indirectly a part of via his pal, who was paid by the mafioso. The feds could consider it guilt by association! He advises his client not to go to Florida and let him know when he is ready to speak with the investigators. So long as they can distance him from the dirty dealings he will be fine ... Abi gets a bit angry with Ben for not telling her about the dangerous drama. He makes light of it and smoothly suggests a walk. She suggests he not miss his work shift and departs ... Aiden surprises Hope at the square. They kiss and he escorts her to the romantic hotel room that awaits. The night is theirs and they kiss on the bed before enjoying the room service ... At the mansion, Victor officially offers Kate the top job at Mad World and praises her for stabbing her son in the back for the position. He also offers her the option of refusing, to stand by her son. Kate spins why she will take the job and the Greek grins he will leave her with LUCAS now. Her son steps around the corner and Kate gasps. He stares at her with cold eyes ... At the nightclub, Clyde catches up with Ben, who downplays the drama of his past. Clyde points out the timing tells a different story, like he ran off from Florida for a reason he is not really saying. Ben gets back to work at the bar. Clyde wonders what he is hiding ... At the club Chad the cad makes nice with nervous Abigail, who clutches her coffee. He hopes there is no problem with Ben. She denies there is any problem and he points out the Florida fiasco is under investigation. She stops and states there was no fiasco as Ben never even met the bad man they are after. After warning him to watch himself with Zoe the shark, she waltzes out. Chad is amused and places a call to his new editor ... Marlena drops by the apartment to see Sonny, as he was the last person who spoke to John before he left town. Will, who was alone, gets loud about his risk of losing Sonny to Paul the player if John returns to town with him. He compares him to Kristen! Marlena warns Will to stop the Paul paranoia. Why, he is starting to sound like Sami ... On his phone charming Chad tells Zoe to have Will do an expose on Clyyyyyyyyde Weston ... Kate tries to tell Lucas she did it for him but he is not interested in her excuses, especially when she responds to his intent to keep seeing Adrienne by calling him but a blip on her radar. Lucas rages she was never on his side and even ruined his relationship with Sami. Kate scoffs. Lucas now lists her past parental transgressions, from leaving him to die in a fire to using him. He thunders they are through and leaves her in tears, crying out his name to no avail. Kate now cries alone ... Marlena urges Will to proceed with caution for he is in a precarious predicament. Will, however, refuses to stand by. He intends to be good and ready for Paul Norita the second he sets foot in Salem ...! THE END Ahead on Days Kristen is cornered by Brady! Jen provokes Eve. Clyde gets involved in the Ben matter. |
