At the nightclub, manager Rafe must attend to a matter and mutters he needs to speak with Victor after. The Greek awaits. Kate pretends to be perturbed about a tabloid talking to her on her phone about Lucas and Adrienne. She calls it slander. Victor says WHAT? ... Lover Lucas visits Adrienne at the empty Kiriakis mansion and proceeds to kiss her passionately. He assures her even Kate is on his side and smiles and she kisses him. Love in the afternoon follows in her big bed ... Jen leaves work, worried abut Dan spilling the secret to Paige and sends JJ a troubled text ... Shirtless Dan kisses Nicole and notes they are alone at his place tonight. They have just told each other they are indeed in love ... Lovers Paige and JJ revel in their lovemaking and the sweet aftermath at Horton house. He does not notice his mother's text ... Serena is scared when she sees a text from Mel who has gone to Europe. The drink is not enough to calm her nerves and she panics when mad Zander shows up at her door, demanding his diamonds. He shoves her on the bed and cackles when she falls to the floor. Then she sees his fallen biz card from Dan and demands her own explanation on the Kiriakis connection. Serena discovers Zan is a member of the Kiriakis clan while Zan discovers she hid his diamonds at Dan's place. Zan grins feels like old times and escorts her off for an unannounced visit ... Down-to-earth Dan suggests a bowling date. Nicole is bemused and agrees ... Eve is consumed with thoughts of how to keep JJ far from her daughter when Cole arrives at the apartment, hanging his head as Paige did not attend the college class they share. Eve gives him a hard time for not waiting at the college, then advises the lost soul to be the calm force for Paige and taunt JJ in the process. Eventually the hothead will explode and Paige will see Cole's sweet side. The pep talk seems to work and she sends the boy back out to do battle ... Back at Horton house, JJ and Paige lie dreamily in each others' arms ...until they hear a sound! JJ stands up and peeks through the bedroom curtains. Paige wonders. Jen calls out asking for her son. JJ gets dressed in a flash. Beaming Paige will follow ...At the nightclub Victor the Greek gives Kate a suspicious stare when she pretends to dismiss the nasty rumor about Lucas and Adrienne having an affair. She gets a text from Clyde the delayed date and he quips tractors do break down. Slick Rafe returns for a word with the boss. They step away and Rafe states his concern about Hope snooping around Clyde. He does not want her to be hurt! Victor understands and casts Kate a grumpy glance, grumbling he has his hands full ... JJ casually goes downstairs. Jen notices his stammering about studying - minus any books - and also notices the flushed face of the fair Paige, who cannot stop smiling when she emerges. She gushes she has to go and JJ walks her to the door. A sweet adieu and JJ comes back in to talk to Jen, who wants a word ... As Dan changes for the big bowling night, Nicole pretties herself in the mirror. He asks her to answer his door to whoever is there, assuming it is his neighbor returning a screwdriver. Nicole opens the door and things really do get screwed up ... Zander flashes a charming smile and states he and Serena just realized they both know Dan! He is here bearing gifts and to make amends. Dan appears all smiles. He thanks him for the vintage Aloha shirt. Zan has given them to all family members, to show his love and respect. He indicates the gift bags he has for the rest of Dan's apartment clan and asks to leave them in the bedroom. Nicole stays in the living room with Serena, checking texts, trying to ignore her. She does not succeed ... Slick Rafe flirts with Kate, questioning what she is doing with a lowlife like Clyde, sophisticated woman that she be. Kate purrs she likes the danger and haughtily steps away. Rafe smirks and stares ... Jen gets righteous with JJ about what she realizes happened here today. He promises they used protection and passionately points out he will love Paige until the end of time. Jen sighs she still does not have Dan's promise not to tell anyone about JJ and Eve. It is only a matter of time! But JJ believes in Dan and feels there is no need to get one's knickers in a twist ... Pretty Paige shows up at her mother's apartment, smiling like a woman of the world ... Adrienne and Lucas are getting hot and heavy in her bed upstairs. Victor is back downstairs and ends a phone call about getting things done. He pours himself a good stiff drink, still standing ... Nicole tries to ignore Serena's reminder of her date with Zander and gasps at the text from her producer. Another ill timed studio summons ... Lucas and Adrienne lie on their backs and try to catch their breath. Love struck Lucas gasps he could not stay away but promises to be more prudent until she has spoken to Justin. Adrienne agrees that is what she must do - speak with Justin. Lucas has stars in his eyes, anticipating a happily ever after with the married woman he loves ... Zander grins they will get together another time and escorts Serena back to her hotel room, happier than before. He knows they WILL be back for what they need ... Lucas and Adrienne are startled by a strong serious knock on her bedroom door. Tis Victor, who would like to speak with Adrienne! She stammers she will be there soon and agrees to meet her father-in-law in the study. Victor doesn't miss a soap beat. "OH AND LUCAS, YOU'RE FIRED!" ... Nicole and Dan bid each other a sweet see you later. They are a happy couple again ... Zander is all about scheming his way back into Dan's place whereas sly Serena is all about rubbing it in that Dan and Nicole seem to be back on track. The hothead huffs WE SHALL SEE and leaves, slamming the door behind himself ... Back at Horton house, JJ updates his mother on the mysterious path Dan's jacket traveled from Dan to him one fateful night and now right back to Eve. He cannot shake the feeling she intends to use it against him. Why else would Eve have it in her possession? Jen starts thinking ... Paige pouts about her mother having words with JJ, then admits she was with him, that is where she was. Eve starts to probe, perceiving the worldly glow that was not there before. Paige gets flustered and excuses herself. It was written all over her fair face ... Eve screams like a banshee and trashes the apartment in a jealous rage! THE END |
