These are my words. There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At the hospital Justin and Brady are bothered and bewildered by the fact that Victor handed over his entire fortune to Deimos. They sense a secret. Theresa overhears that Victor now has nothing to his name ... Kate is sitting elegantly at the town square. Deimos calls from the mansion he now lives in and explains he has a proposal. Kate quips an indecent one she hopes and he agrees to meet her. Phillip sits down and accuses her of not being very smart throwing herself in league with the likes of Victor's worst enemy. Kate suspects her son has sour grapes about blowing things with Victor's brother and Victor as well. He warns her she is caught in the middle of something that will get dangerous and shares his fear that Deimos is out to destroy the whole Kiriakis clan. She could be collateral damage! Kate is not listening and doubts he did anything to Victor and Maggie as he believes. Phillip notes he might not feel like he has a mother if she does not help him bring Deimos down. Kate scoffs her kids always come running after disowning her and will not be swayed by anything he says. He warns her that Deimos is doomed to lose, for Justin, Brady, and himself are now on team Victor ... Nicole visits Maggie in her room, assuming she is about to begin physical therapy. The redhead laments she no longer feels her legs and cannot walk. The surgery was not a success. Nicole is sympathetic ... JJ and Chad are at a pub table. JJ bears good news as Ben is now locked away in a maximum security prison. He will never get out again. Chad is relieved but woefully agrees when JJ adds Abigail is going to need help getting over the ordeal. Chad sighs she is having a session with Marlena as they speak ... At DiMera mansion elegant Marlena the emotional healer points out to new patient Abigail that she is suffering from post-traumatic-stress-disorder. It is understandable, given the horror she had to endure. Abigail calmly admits she was out to kill Ben cos she knows as long as he is alive, he will stop at nothing to kill her. She tells the tale of how she lit him on fire, how hard it was to distinguish between real Ben and the one she had imagined earlier ... Theresa enters Maggie's room and tries to act upbeat about her chances of recovery. It is all rather eager and the redhead would rather not read articles on spinal cord research. She would rather worry about Victor ... Marlena tenderly tells Abigail that with time the bad feelings will pass. Chad enters and the baby cries. Abigail excuses herself to attend to Thomas. Chad notes Ben was not there when Abigail first thought she saw him. Marlena is sorry to say that her actually seeing him after she had imagined him placed a strain on her beautiful mind. She suspects a psychotic breakdown. Chad is not happy to hear it and wonders where they go from here. Marlena replies there is the option of outpatient therapy.If that does not succeed there is a ptsd clinic. Chad states it in layman's terms - she wants to put his wife away. Abigail is near the room and hears. She quietly hides behind the wall. Marlena informs Chad she could pose a danger to herself and to the baby without even intending to. Perhaps short term intensive therapy in a controlled environment would do the trick. Abigail would feel safe and there would be no more reminders of Ben as there are in Salem when she is surrounded by family and friends. Chad argues Ben is now locked up, he will no longer pose a threat. But doc knows it would not be enough for Abigail and offers to call the clinic. He unhappily agrees and walks her to the door ... Afterwards Abigail emerges with a brave face and muses Thomas stopped crying. Chad solemnly tells her they need to talk. She interrupts by asking him to pick up her prescription refill from the drugstore and notes no worries she will not be alone, the DiMera house is never empty. After an I love you and a kiss, Chad exits on his errand. Abigail frantically calls JJ to meet her at the park ... Maggie sends Theresa for coffee and admits to Nicole she does not want to act upbeat. She cries she is feeling afraid. All those years ago she got her miracle when she walked again and now believes there will be no second such miracle. Nicole smiles there is not a limit on miracles. Maggie smiles she can see why Daniel loved her so much. Now she sends her to Victor, to check on him for her ... Victor is frowning in his hospital bed as he remembers the day Helena tried to get away from him and fell, hitting her head on a rock. He had left for help. Now Deimos is frowning at an old photo of Helena on the mantle as he remembers the rest of the story. He had found Helena dead and cradled her in his arms. Then Victor had returned with the police and lied he saw him kill her. Back to reality. Deimos makes for the door and throws it open. There stands Justin, a formidable foe indeed - one who happens to be on team Victor. He orders him to hand back what he extorted from his uncle or he will press charges of blackmail and more against him. Deimos acts like Victor was being charitable and refuses to be intimidated by legal threats. He orders him off his property before he has him thrown off ... Abigail meets JJ by the park. She tells him what really happened with Ben, how she told Marlena, and how Marlena advised Chad to put her away. She wonders whether she is crazy. He feels she is fine but they do want her to get better. She considers running away from Salem. JJ assures her Ben is no longer a threat as he is in prison so there is no need. She fibs she feels thirsty and dizzy from the medication and sends him off for a glass of water. Then she races back to DiMera mansion, gets Thomas, and sneaks out the garden doors unseen ... Chad meets with Jen, who is upset and opposed to anyone locking away her daughter. She laments her worst fear was losing her mind and getting locked up like grandma Laura. She senses such a thing could make her snap ... Kate concludes it is not their concern that Victor decided to give his entire fortune to Deimos.Deimos appears and Phil decides to depart but the uncle insists he stay to hear his announcement. Kate is intrigued. He brazenly offers to buy Basic Black from her and fold it into Titan, which he and Kate shall run side by side. Phillip frowns ... Justin and Brady regroup at the pub. Justin notes he now knows Deimos is not worried about legal action. Brady wishes he knew what grandfather was hiding. Justin grins slyly and suggests Victor is only feigning defeat as he builds his massive Trojan horse. Such is the Greek way ... Victor's eyes light up when Nicole his Trojan horse gingerly enters his room ... Ciara the sitter calls Chad from DiMera mansion as Abigail, the baby and the baby carrier are gone. Even Harold has not seen them. Chad tries to play it cool but Jen knows this is bad. She texts JJ and accompanies Chad back to the mansion ... Theresa is playing cards with Maggie and asks her and Victor to move in with her and Brady. Maggie politely declines as Victor needs to be the lord of his manor in every manner. Theresa mutters under her breath and Maggie wonders what she is not telling her ... Brady and Justin have made a pact to team up and bring down Deimos ... Nicole informs Victor she found out Deimos was obsessed with Helena. He quips he is obsessed with him as well and wonders how far she would go to pay him back for what he did to Maggie ... Chad, JJ and Jen are at the house, desperate to find out where Abigail went with Thomas ... Abigail rushes into the room she rented and closes the window coverings. She then places Thomas and carrier on the bed. She smiles no one will find them here, not Ben or Marlena, and no one will take him from her! Stefano's chubby grandson plays with his blanket and looks up at her with trusting eyes ... THE END! |
