FAR FROM OVER - Phillip is at the Cheatin Heart, having an intense conversation about Parker and shared custody on the phone. He sighs they will fight this with all they've got. Enter Chloe. Phil warns he has bad news. He informed social services they should have shared custody, but they decided otherwise. Chloe accuses him of not trying hard enough. She laments maybe she really is an unfit mother. Phil will talk to the lawyer helping Justin while he is away. They will win! Chloe numbly agrees. Phil heads out to meet with the lawyer, leaving Chloe alone at the establishment. - At the Brady house, Lexie is upset, as autistic Theo does not fare well in strange places. Ciara must have talked him into it! She tells Hope as much and Hope looks distraught. She begs Lexie not to blame her little girl. Lexie sniffles she didn't mean it. Bo gets off the phone. Nothing new to report. Hope cannot believe their baby is now going through this. Meanwhile, Lexie is laments to Abe that this is too much for Theo. He consoles her with a hug. Bo repeats he will find them. Lexie wants them to go and search. Roman arrives with an update on the search. So far they have nothing. Abe suggests he and nervous Lexie go to the hospital and see if any kids were brought in. They exit together. Hope blames herself for not seeing this coming. Bo hugs her and wonders why he failed to see it coming. Roman later gets off the phone. There is a report that a boy and girl Theo's age were admitted to hospital. They are on their way! - At the hospital, Lexie learns from Maxine that the two kids admitted were a brother and sister. Lexie does not tell her why she really wanted to know and tries to hold it together. - At DiMera mansion, Tay is confused that mama Fay mentioned Rafe being EJ's secret. Nicole wonders if she was too drugged at the time. Tay pries. Sami and EJ have a complicated relationship and this might not be good for him! Nicole asks why she cares so much. What is that to her! Taylor plays innocent. Nicole states she does not think EJ is involved in it. Tay sighs in relief, claiming to be glad for her sister. She has some things to pick up before the funeral. She hands Nicole a photo of them with their mother, as they should include it. Nicole agrees and sits down, crying slightly about having to bury their mother in Chicago. One is in denial, then gets hit by the thing. She tells her sister to go run her errands. Exit Tay. Nicole flashes back to the conversation she overheard between EJ and Stefano. "What now, EJ?" she whispers. "What have you done?" She stares at Fay's picture, then imagines seeing her in the chair opposite her. Fay's apparition asks what she thinks she was trying to tell her. It should not be too hard to figure out. "I always told you that EJ is a bastard and that he's capable of anything!" Nicole wonders what it could be, as EJ hates Rafe. She suddenly stops in horror, concluding EJ finally got rid of Rafe! Could he have caused the accident? Mama Fay asks if he succeeded at killing Rafe. Nicole notes Rafe has not been the same so perhaps he did succeed in that sense, even though he did not kill him. The old Rafe is gone. She decides to go see him again, to find out what happened ... - At the loft, EJ wants to know why Nicole was there. Rafe 2 is evasive. EJ coldly repeats the question. Rafe thinks he might be jealous and takes a drink of beer. EJ glares daggers at him. Rafe crudely laughs she might have been hitting on him. That does it. EJ shoves him up against the wall, his arm against his throat, and demands answers. Rafe 2 gasps she just wanted to thank him for the condolences. That was it. EJ leers he is lucky he has somewhere else to be, walks out, and promptly calls Stefano.They have a problem and he must speak with him immediately! The phoenix deduces the problem is his wife. - At the tent, Theo exclaims he wants to go home home home. Ciara explains the truck brought them far away. Besides, if she goes back her parents will be unhappy. Theo wants his mommy and daddy. All of a sudden, a noise is heard in the bushes. T'was but a deer. Ciara's phone rings. Theo wants to answer buts she makes him promise not to. - At the Brady pub, Will shows Maggie pics of his siblings. She gushes, then wonders what is going on. He explains Sami left Salem with two of the kids as she had to get away. Gabi walks up and dismally deduces she needed to get away from her brother! - Down at the pier, Stefano agrees with EJ that if Nicole keeps digging, Rafe 2, the idiot pawn, will blab. Time to kill two birds with one stone! They summon the imposter to the pier. The phoenix explains "It is over! Finito!" EJ hands him a wad of cash in an envelope, as the balance of services rendered. Faux Rafe also gets his new ID for his new identity. Stefano warns him to get out of town and never contact them again. Faux Rafe chuckles they were not that much fun anyway and is ready to leave. EJ announces they have unfinished business. The imposter snaps he did as instructed and is ready to leave town. EJ sternly orders him to make a believable exit. Rafe 2 wants to know how long that will take. EJ instructs him to tell everyone goodbye and listen to people advising him to give Samantha a chance, as they no doubt will. Stefano wants to know what he will tell Roman. Rafe 2 replies Roman already knows she is a b*tch and will have new found respect for him. Wrong answer! Stefano advises him to say things have gotten bad and he is not going back. EJ adds when he gets back from Chicago and Sami is back from Colorado, he should be gone. They will arrange for divorce papers to be attached to the goodbye note. And he had better not mess up! He has 24 hours. The imposter says adios and saunters off. EJ now anxiously drawls he needs to get Nicole out of town before she speaks to that idiot ... - At the pub, Taylor runs into Maggie and thanks her for the flowers she sent for Fay. The redhead is so sorry. She is concerned Tay has no one to lean on, like Nicole, who has a husband. Taylor assures her she has Nicole. Maggie wishes she had a nice man in her life to love, even though she realizes it is not really her business. Tay admits it would help and she wishes she could have someone she loved who loved her, but alas there is no one ... - Outside, Hope hands Bo the phone and he leaves a pleading message for his daughter to come home. Ciara, still outside the tent, vows not to listen to any of her messages, then trips and falls. She is rendered unconscious. - Back at the pier, Bo suddenly realizes the clues they seek are probably at home. He and Hope make for the house in a hurry. They get into Ciara's computer messages, though they are vague and do not indicate where Ciara and Theo went, only that he agreed to go with her. - EJ and Stefano walk into the DiMera living room as Nicole is talking to Fay's apparition. EJ asks to whom she is speaking. The chair is empty! Nicole gulps. She stands up and stammers she was telling her mother how much she loved and missed her. It gave her comfort. EJ understands and apologizes for the interruption. They hug. Stefano excuses himself, to put the finishing touches on their latest venture. He repeats his sympathy for Nicole's loss and exits. Nicole gets teary-eyed about EJ's compassion and sweetness. However, he hardly knew her mother. She thinks it is almost like he is grieving for her, too. EJ explains he is, for when his wife is in pain, so is he. Nicole is amazed he shares in her grief and mentions his making an effort with her mother these past few weeks. He claims he was grateful to get to know such a lovely woman who was devoted to both her daughters. Nicole quips she was more devoted to Taylor. EJ makes a sound and she accuses him of acting like sister Tay was more deserving, as she is a better person! - Kate waltzes into the Cheatin Heart and tells off Chloe for drinking at the bar instead of looking after her son. She accuses her of trying to seduce Phillip, then taunts her he can have any woman he wants. Chloe slurs that woman might be her and sarcastically reminds Kate of her toxic brownies. - Rafe 2 heads back to the loft, gets himself a beer, and decides he will not stick around as ordered by the DiMeras. Time to get out of Dodge! He packs his bag. "Well, Salem, my work here is done. Adios!" He saunters to the door ... - Back at the Cheatin heart, Kate taunts Chloe that Phillip only pities her and wants to prevent her from throwing herself into the river. Chloe hits back with a comment about her murderous past. Kate hisses she will not let her squeeze her wicked tentacles around her family - Phillip & Parker. Chloe tosses a martini on her and departs. Kate calls her a stupid sl*t and vows this is far from over! - EJ tries to do damage control with Nicole but Taylor enters. He informs Tay the jet is ready. Nicole claims to have a few errands to run. Tay goes upstairs. EJ asserts to Nicole that they are driving to the airport and she is getting on that plane pronto! Nicole, however, still secretly wants to see Rafe ... - Back at the loft, Rafe 2 opens the door, only to find Gabi and Will. He explains Sami is gone so he is taking a little vacation. Gabi demands to know what he is up to and this time she wants answers! - Back at the Brady house, Abe and Lexie have returned. Bo decides to join Roman in his field search. Hope tries once more to call Ciara. The phone rings and Theo picks it up. He remembers his unconscious friend telling him not to answer it and stares at the pink phone ... Next on Days of Our Lives "Drink yourself into oblivion, Chloe!" leers Mel. Bo faces Stefano, Victor, and Kate. "We're looking for Ciara and Theo my way. Not yours! Mine!" "Who the hell are you!" disgusted Gabi asks beer guzzling Rafe 2 as Dario observes. |
