Wednesday, April 13, 2016 Episode 12,824 Length: 1,500 descriptive words Beware of copycats. These are my words. There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Eduardo pays his coffee bill at the Salem square and spies his Adriana alone. It seems she could not sleep and went for a walk. He implores her to let him say his full story. She agrees and sits down at his table, her eyes filled with torment ... At the Brady pub Caroline unhappily clutches the bible that Eric gave her back. Hope arrives and she laments about Eric the lost soul. Hope wants to share some news that is not sad - Victor is awake and well, while Maggie's surgery went smoothly. So far so good. Caroline blames evil Deimos, the new Stefano of Salem. She brings up her vision of Deimos meeting with Malcolm, convinced he was the mastermind of Bo's capture and torture. Hope's eyes cloud over ... Deimos orders the movers to remove more of Victor's art as Nicole arrives. She would like a word. He pours on the European charm and smiles they should toast to getting what they want and deserve. He holds up his wine glass and Nicole eyes him with apprehension ... Adriana has agreed to speak with Eduardo to have her one question answered. How could things go so wrong? He should have taken a trade as she suggested all those years ago! He gently explains he had no choice. He was a trained assassin as a boy and then the alliance came calling again after all the years he had assumed he was finally free of them. She snaps at him for making her fall in love with him in the first place ... Hope solemnly turns over the open sign to CLOSED on the pub door. She sits back down and states she did something terrible. Caroline talks forgiveness. Hope admits she is not sorry ... Andre did not kill Stefano, she did! She shot him dead. Caroline quips she did the world a favor and only wishes she had offed the s.o.b herself ... Ed reminds Adriana how good they were together and how he remembers every moment captured among the photographs he was forced to destroy to divert attention from the family the alliance had threatened to kill. When he mentions Rafe's grass stained shirt after he played baseball as a child she cannot help but smile. He insists if the alliance had left him alone they would still be together today ... Caroline calls Stefano the devil. Hope now comes clean about an anonymous caller claiming she killed the wrong man cos Stefano was not responsible for Bo. Caroline gets exasperated about Victor not listening when she warned him of the danger of Deimos, how she saw him in a vision giving orders to Malcolm. But the matriarch still thinks the dastardly Stefano DiMera got what he deserved regardless ... Nicole notes she cannot toast as she does not yet have the answers she is after. He hopes the reporter is not recording as he has done his homework. She notes she is now a businesswoman. He tells her to call him Deimos, not Mr Kiriakis, which is Victor. He is aware of the fact that they were married once. She admits it was a mismatch made out of a desire for money and she once tried to kill him. He knows that too. She nervously hopes he is not mad she called 911 to save Victor and adds she is aware he did time for the murder of Helena, who happens to resemble her. Hopefully he does not want to kill her as well cos she looks like her. Deimos smoothly sticks to his usual story of Victor setting him up when he was an innocent man. Nicole wonders why Victor never mentioned she had a doppelganger called Helena from Greece back in the day. She then gets uncomfortable as he is staring. She explains they cannot be related as she has no relation to Helena in her family tree. Deimos now gives her a chance to say what she is after. She asks how he got Victor's mansion from him, why he came to Salem, and what else he is after. Deimos sips his wine ... Roman and Rafe are outside the pub. Roman says what da hell about the closed sign. Hope opens the door. Caroline tells them they were just talking. Hope smiles that they already know about Stefano. Rafe wonders how it came up in the conversation, sensing something more. The two cops are told of Caroline's sixth sense about Deimos causing Bo's death, which would support the caller who stated Hope had killed the wrong man. Caroline snaps Deimos must be stopped ... Deimos makes no secret of the fact that he was out for revenge on Victor for wrongly sending him to prison. Nicole warns him his brother with come after him. Deimos cackles and asks why she even cares. Nicole points out Maggie loves Victor and she loves Maggie, as she used to be engaged to her son the late Dan. Deimos is sorry for her loss. Nicole now issues him a warning. If he has been or is a threat to Maggie, then SHE will be a threat to HIM. Dangerous drums play. Deimos soap stares, then slyly states he has been praying for Maggie. He insists his vendetta over Victor was victorious so he is done. Nicole has her doubts. He suggests they discuss over dinner and drawls the chef is known for his KILLER souffle ... Adriana cannot get over how sadly it ended for her and Eduardo and starts to cry. Dario appears and accuses him of upsetting her again ... Hope and Rafe walk through the square together. She hopes he does not mind that she told Caroline, as they are a team, him and her. He drawls he does not mind at all. Hope wishes she had the sharp mind of the matriarch. Rafe asks after Ciara. Hope gets a text and smiles she is babysitting for the new improved owners of the DiMera mansion. The discuss the shocking Ben development and Rafe notes at least they have Ben now, he is going nowhere. He appears distracted when he sees Dario blasting his father again, then decides he would only add fuel to the fire. He departs with Hope and walks her home ... Eduardo ignores his hot head son's outburst and asks Adriana to meet him for breakfast tomorrow morning so he can finish. She agrees, much to Dario's dismay. He does not want her to take his father back ... Nicole replies she is too busy for dinner in the next few days. Deimos hands her his card so she can call when she is free. She cannot help but notice he is now the CEO of Titan. She turns to take her leave, then asks if she really resembles Helena. Like a twin! Nicole wonders whether they are alike in other ways. Deimos flirts she was one of a kind and maybe Nicole is as well. Diva Kate has silently entered and surveys the scene. Needless to say she is NOT amused ... Reliable Rafe has seen Hope home. She is torn that she might have killed the wrong man and Deimos might have been the mastermind who caused Bo's death ... Kate would like to know the reason for Nicole being here. She plops herself in an elegant chair and pouts. Nicole sarcastically says she was giving lover boy a message, tells Kate she could do better, and leaves. Corporate Kate wants to know what was really going on. Deimos hands his lady a glass of wine. She notes any friend to Nicole is an enemy in her book. She warns him she will not tolerate a Mediterranean playboy and he gushes Nicole who? as he gets closer for a kiss. Kate cannot resist and the pair lock lips with passion ... Dario stops Nicole, who is in a hurry at the square. He invites her for a drink. She notes she is not ready. He assures her it would only be a drink, a dirty martini just the way she likes it. Perhaps another time ... Rafe offers to do some digging for Hope under the radar. He will check out Deimos and try to find out who phoned her. Hope cannot thank her friend enough and walks him to the door. Rafe starts to go, then turns back and growls he has had enough of playing it safe. He takes her in his arms and kisses her passionately the way he has wanted to for so very long ... THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Rafe uses the L word. Abigail is haunted by her memories.
