| Wednesday, April 13, 2011 up by 5:05 pm est April 12 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. LINK ONLY! RUNNING ON EMPTY - At the hospital, testy Carly catches herself and tells Dan she is sorry. He insists he needs to check out her elbow, as she needs pain medication. He wonders if there is a reason she does not want him to see it. Carly promises to look after it. Dan explains WE are worried. Carly wonders who is WE. Jen approaches and admits they are both concerned, Carly goes off to talk to Jen in her office and coolly informs Dan that they are done! - At the loft, Johnny gets Rafe 2 a beer. Sami walks out of her room and solemnly says good morning. It is 9 am.Johnny boasts he got Rafe a beer. Sami sends him to another room and then chews out the imposter for acting inappropriately in front of her kid with beer drinking at 9 am and having him get it. They argue. Rafe 2 explains he is trying to deal with the news that Fay died. Sami is shocked and asks how she died. He claims not to know the details and calls it a real tragedy. Sami points out he only knew her from the time he interrogated her. Why is he so affected? He barks at her to stop, as she simply cannot imagine what that woman's death means to him! Sami will not back down. In addition, Johnny is not his bartender! He exclaims he had a rough night and cannot win with her, not when he is tough, not even when he is mushy. Sami concedes he might be right. He drawls she used to think he was great, but that is not the case anymore. Sami wishes she could go back to that time. She will try to work through this. However, she will not tolerate him encouraging her son to fight and also get him a beer in the morning! Rafe 2 pretends to be exasperated. He wonders how she can stay with him now. She admits she does not think she can. She has made a decision, after talking to Caroline. She is going to go stay with brother Eric for a few days. And she is taking the kids, except for Will, who is probably going to stay with Caroline. Rafe 2 is still holding his beer. "So, you want a divorce!" Sami points out she did not say that. When she comes back, they will decide what to do next. ""Separation," hopefully drawls Rafe 2. Sami offers to leave him Eric's number. "Whatever," he says casually and wishes her a nice trip. Sami numbly walks off to pack for the kids. Rafe 2 settles on the sofa to watch some TV. - At DiMera mansion, Nicole overhears EJ warning Stefano that Fay might have known about Rafe. The phoenix sighs. Nicole bumps into a table. EJ hears. "Who the hell is out there!" Nicole enters the room. EJ is very tense. Stefano stares. Nicole pretends she just got home and Taylor will be back after her brief errands. She asks if something is wrong. EJ smoothly states they were talking business. Stefano walks off to call Europe before the markets close. EJ hopes Nicole is not still thinking about what her mother said about him having a secret. "I am," replies Nicole. He drawls he cannot fathom what Fay's general comment was all about. Nicole now claims she thinks he was right. It must have been the effects of the meds Fay was taking. She hopes he will come to Chicago with her and Taylor for the funeral. EJ dramatically agrees, hugs her, and promises to make this easier for her. They will leave in a couple of hours. First she will run a few errands. EJ will call the pilot to have the plane ready. Nicole thanks him, kisses him, and departs. When Stefano comes back, EJ assures him she did not hear anything, Outside the front door, Nicole wishes she could cry. She is confused that the secret Fay warned her about concerned Rafe. Time to regroup and find out what it was! - Bo picks up the newspaper on the front porch and smiles, remembering making love to Hope the night before. She comes up behind him and puts her arms around him. "It happened," she whispers. They tenderly kiss. Later, Ciara races in, all smiles. Theo is in the car. Hope wants to have a talk with her daughter but Theo comes in. She decides she and daddy will talk to her after school. Hope gets distracted when a Mrs. Hogan awaits at the door with things for the campout and steps out of the room. Ciara laments to Theo that her parents must be getting a divorce. Bo comes downstairs and hugs his little girl. He gets a call and tells her to go upstairs to get the things Hope laid out on the bed for her. Hope returns and Bo asks her if she can drive the kids to school. She cannot, as she has a doctor's appointment. He goes out to the car to use the radio. Ciara sneakily watches from the top of the staircase. She is soon with Hope and asks if she can take her tea set. Hope goes back upstairs for it. Theo is baffled. Bo comes back in and Ciara lies that Hope will be driving them so he can go. Exit Bo after hugging her and wishing them a fun day at school. Ciara checks that Bo is gone, then notices there is a truck outside, picking up branches from last night's storm. She decides they will hide and catch a ride on the truck, with the camping stuff. Exit the runaways! Hope comes downstairs and assumes Ciara forgot her school things. Bo returns for something and they are each shocked that neither has the kids in their car! - Carly joins Jen in her office and angrily tells her off for gossiping about her. Jen is sorry. Carly snaps to save her sympathy. Jen looks upset and exits. Carly whips out the bottle of meds, her hand shaking. She does the only thing she can to calm down and pops some pills. Out at the nurse’s station, crying Jen gets herself a coffee. Dan tries to make her feel better and ends up hugging her. Dan takes Jen back in the room, to help broker a peace deal. Carly has by now taken most of the pills and apologizes, feeling more relaxed. She tells her two friends how she called Nicholas, who denounced her. They try to reassure her about things getting better. Carly, however, thinks she must live with it. Between her hurt elbow and this drama, she just needed some time alone. She is sure she can handle things and today's meltdown will not be repeated. Jen remains concerned. - Sami drops by the mansion, asks EJ to give Nicole her condolences, and finds out they will be attending the funeral in Chicago. Sami now asks if she may take little Johnny and Sydney along with her to visit brother Eric in Colorado. Rafe will NOT be going. EJ is interested. He would like to know more. He hopes Rafe has not done something to her - and it better not affect the children. Sami replies the kids are fine. She just wants to give Rafe some space and sighs he is different since the accident. She must work though it and will come back after thinking. EJ graciously tells her to keep the kids as long as she needs them. He adds that he is proud of her for putting the children first. He only wants them to have a good relationship with their mother too and offers to help in any way, should she need it. - Back at the loft, relieved Rafe 2 snickers and callously rips up Eric's phone number. Knock knock knock! Tis Nicole. She wants to talk and it is important. He calls her babe, invites her in, and licks his chops. Nicole thanks him for dropping by the mansion with his condolences. He sighs it has been a hell of a night. She explains it got her thinking. It was nice of him to make an effort and she hopes they will be able to work on getting their families closer. She starts to cough and asks for cough drops. He goes out to look for some. Nicole now searches the room for a spare key and is shocked to see Eric's torn up phone number. Rafe 2 comes back and asks what she is doing. She asks about the torn paper. "She's gone," says he, pretending to be upset, unsure whether she will come back to him. Nicole is sorry. He does not think she cares. She gives him a hug. He sighs it is hard. She assures him things will work out. He brushes his mouth against her hair and breathes "If you say so." - Back at the Brady house, Bo and Hope realize the camping stuff is gone and start to call out for Ciara and Theo. As the truck moves with the 2 stowaways sitting among the branches, Ciara tells Theo her mommy and daddy will never be sad again ... - Back at the hospital, Carly genuinely thanks her pals for their concern and departs. Jen assures Dan they did the right thing by confronting her. They can work together. For Carly. Dan grins roguishly. - At DiMera mansion, Sami thanks EJ, and starts to leave. He continues to be gracious and tells her all will work out fine. After shutting the door, he sarcastically repeats his words, a glint in his eye ... - Back at the loft, Nicole finally breaks free from Rafe 2, who wonders if she is glad that Sami dumped him. Nicole points out every marriage has problems. Perhaps they just need a little break. Maybe this will be a good thing and he can enjoy some private r and r. Rafe 2 drawls sometimes an opportunity comes along. Nicole promises to keep the little secret so as not to spread gossip. Rafe 2 grins and suddenly grabs her in a hot and heavy kiss ...! Next on Days of Our Lives "Nobody has any idea of what we've done!" EJ smugly tells Stefano. "I've gotta find out what's going on!" declares Nicole. Hope calls Lexie at the hospital. "There's something I have to tell you!" she gasps. |
