Outside DiMera mansion Kate tells her flunky over the phone to get the woman out of her life and continue with the updates ... Rafe is presented with annulment papers from Hope. He frowns. She waits for him to sign and he wonders whether she really thought it over. After what they shared and how he loves her ... She sighs sorry and implores him to sign ... Chad visits Gabi in prison and assures her he will prove Stefan set her up. She suspects he will have to implicate his own wife ... Stefan checks for a pulse as Gabby insists she had no choice but to clock Marlena. Meanwhile Kate gets her keys and lets herself in through the front door ... John can see how much he loves her. Brady agrees and grins he is gonna get her back ... Chloe updates Eve on Miguel and his mysterious boss. She hopes Lucas will not attack him again. However, she is happy to have a guy who cares. Eve sighs as she refers to backstabbing Brady. She then urges her friend to follow her dream and take the flight to Mexico. Forget what Lucas wants for he will only break her heart. They all do ... Kate acts innocent about Miguel and Mexico. Lucas believes this was her plan B to break up him and Chloe and demands she come clean. She claims she would not be so extreme but he reminds her of her tainted brownies. Kate coos it could be a great opportunity Chloe should take it ... Rafe realizes Hope is hurt. She reminds him of the vows he broke and the fact that he duped her. Their love was a lie! He apologizes and attempts to get close but she stops him and begs him to sign. No way says he! Chloe pours more wine and teases Eve about Brady. Eve tells her about their crazy bet. Lucas leers Kate would love Chloe to leave him and he knows the secrecy of the offer is cos of his mother. Kate claims he should encourage her to go. Lucas wants to protect her from a possible scam. He dares her to swear this was not her doing. She does but he still has his doubts ... Chad suspects Stefan did something to Abigail, whether it was brainwashing or another kind of mind control. Stefan wants to make himself in Stefano’s image after all. Gabi believes her only hope is if Chad can prove that Abigail lied on the stand ... Stefan will not harm Marlena and states the room is secure. Gabby warns him she had an appointment. Stefan sees a text Marlena got about meeting John. It gives him an idea. He also plans to move her car but fake Gabi feels it has gotten too tangled. Stefan glances at Marlena as she sleeps on ... John walks through the dark park with Brady and suggests Eve might be giving his son a second chance with that bet. He wonders where oh where his doc could be and heads to her office. He believes Eve will get back together with Brady if they were meant to be. After he walks off into the night Eve appears. But when she sees Brady she goes the other way ... Rafe refuses to give up on him and Hope. How he wishes he could take back what he did! Hope simply cannot stay in the marriage ... John finds Marlena’s office dark and empty. He starts to search for clues ... Gabby gets more nervous by the second. Stefan suggests she fight for herself. She feels real with him. He promises her she will lose nothing and gives her a kiss on the lips. She agrees to trust him so he explains he will move Marlena’s car and reply to John’s text to buy them more time. When he comes back he will have come up with a plan ... After he goes Gabby anxiously glances at sleeping Marlena ... Hope puts on her shoulder bag and insists they need to end their marriage. Rafe refuses and drops the annulment papers in the garbage ... Lucas returns to the club and admits to Chloe he assumed it was Kate. However she said it was not her. He knows not whether she was lying. Chloe thinks the job could be legit. He finds it too strange. She sighs but she wants to accept it ... It is time for Chad to go. Gabi thanks him for the support and asks him to tell Ari she loves her. But do not bring her to Statesville. He vows to get her out. The guard escorts her back to her cell ... Stefan sends John a text with Marlena’s phone. Meanwhile Kate sees the downstairs door is open. Stefan promises to get it fixed so it does not pose a danger to Thomas. Kate adds the door is not the only dangerous thing ... John reads the fake text from Marlena, claiming to be with a patient. It sounds strange to the spy who loves her.
