BANG BANG! - Replay of Sami opening the door to Rafe 2 and looking in horror from the imposter to the real Rafe, back to the imposter. Her head is spinning! Real Rafe is shocked. Rafe 2 pulls a gun and insists real Rafe, who is confused, is the trouble making imposter. And today it ends! Good thing he got there. Sami assures him he did not do anything. Rafe 2 keeps calling Sami babe and does not listen when she insists he does not need the gun. Rafe 2 explains how this guy was making trouble. He realized Sami had headed to their special place, the safe house. He adds part of this imposter's plan was to make everyone think he was him and ruin everything. Rafe is utterly baffled. Rafe 2 snaps he was working for the DiMeras.Rafe starts to deny it but Rafe 2 impatiently tells him to shut up. He explains how the DiMeras made the lookalike, with dental implants, skin grafts, etc. He has known about the imposter for months and blames the DiMeras for drugging him and causing his own personality problems. Rafe, however, insists he was locked up in prison and found his way there thanks to a nun. Rafe 2 laughs and warns his copycat game is over. Time for his execution! Sami begs him not to do it. Rafe explains he only wants the truth. Rafe 2 insists to Sami that he has no choice. Sami exclaims he does. The drugs must be making him act this way. He is not a killer! "Out of the way babe," says he. Sami now stands in front of real Rafe. She cannot let him to do this! Rafe 2 advises her to move out of the way. Sami gasps this man could be a victim too. Rafe 2 insists the dude was hired by the DiMeras. Sami still does not want him to execute him. Rafe 2 yells they wanted to insert this guy into her life. Sami reasons this man could also be an innocent pawn. She implores Rafe 2 to put down the gun. Rafe offers to sit down to prove he is no threat. Sami asks Rafe 2 to put the gun down after real Rafe slowly sits on the bed. The imposter viciously shoves Sami aside. She hits her head and falls to the floor unconscious. Rafe lunges. They struggle but the imposter ends up pointing his gun at him again and leers EJ and Stefano thought he was dead. Time to make that a reality! - Nicole catches up with Taylor at the pub. Lexie excuses herself and asks her pal to call her later. Nicole hugs at her sis and notes all the trauma must be hard for her. She means losing their mom and being uprooted. She is so sorry. Tay wonders about what. Nicole pretends she thinks she is leaving town because of her. She points out she and EJ are more in love than ever, despite her earlier doubts. She is sorry for how EJ treated Taylor. Tay forces a smile and states it would not be right for her to stay there. Nicole claims she understands. Tay now updates her. Lexie convinced her to stay and so she has changed her mind. She will remain in Salem. Nicole's eyes mirror her worry. Tay warns Nicole she is concerned that EJ will hurt her. Nicole retorts he will be a model husband from now on. She believes in love eternal. Tay's eyes narrow and she wonders if she is being straight with her. Nicole smugly retorts she intends to honor her wedding vows, gives her a brief hug, and waltzes off. - At the mansion, Stefano enters the living room. Drinking EJ has a long face. The phoenix cannot help but notice. Elvis sighs he decided to stay with Nicole. Stefano chuckles but wants to know what changed his mind, as he assumes he was not following his advice. EJ calls Nicole kind and nurturing with the children. Love is overrated and prevents one from getting what one wants. Stefano notes he is not happy. EJ claims to have seen the light. - At the hospital, Mel calls Abby nervy for blaming her decent dad for her mom's panic attack. Abby gets even madder when Jack is mentioned. Meanwhile, Maxine warns Jen and Dan that their daughters are at odds. - Mel is miffed that Abby dared compared their fathers. Abby reminds her that Uncle Lucas found out the supposedly honest doctor Dan was cheating with his wife. Mel disagrees that was how it was. Dan and Jen arrive on scene. Indignant Mel updates them that Abby is blaming papa Dan's sleazy aggressive ways for putting Jennifer in the hospital. Jen is troubled by that. Abby admits she was just worried. Mel is still mad she insulted her dad. Dan takes her off for a chat. Jen now wants to talk to her daughter. She cannot believe she was so irrational. Abby admits she wanted someone to blame and is sorry. She cries things are hard with her father gone and JJ across the world. Jen is sympathetic. Perhaps it is difficult for her daughter to see her with someone new, as a part of her wants her parents to reconcile. Abby sniffles she is right and apologizes. She sniffles some more and they hug. Meanwhile, Mel is still mad about what Abby said. Dan explains the girl was worried about her mom. Mel wonders if Jennifer might have said something about being nervous he might want to sleep with her. Dan disagrees. The girl is overprotective and a part of her would like to see her parents together. Like Melanie. Maybe Mel is really angry about her mom and him. Mel denies it at first, then admits part of her did think maybe he and Carly would get back together. But Abby was still out of line. Dan reasons if she were a little more pro-Jennifer, she could have smoothed things over. Mel is sorry. Dan would like her to do something. Jen hugs her daughter. She knows deep down her daughter wants her parents together despite also wishing for her to be happily moving on. Abby laments she is right and that was why she insinuated Dan was an old lech. Jen jokes he is too young to be an old lech. She wants her to apologize. Abby agrees to do just that. - Distracted Chloe enters the pub and pulls out the wad of cash her handsome businessman left her. She flashes back to their hot encounter. Brady comes up behind her and she drops the envelope. He picks it up and wonders how she got all that cash. She stammers it is a long story and puts it in her bag. He points out she should keep the kind of money out of sight and sits beside her. He notes she is living with Maggie these days. She declares she is moving out. Brady deduces that is because of the redhead and his grandfather. - Back at the mansion, EJ stares and flashes back to Nicole's DNA report and blackmail. She found out their secret prisoner was Rafe Hernandez! He blinks back to reality and lies to papa Stefano that he decided to stay with Nicole, for the sake of the children. The phoenix asks what the hell happened to his love for Taylor. EJ sips his drink and replies it is gone. Stefano doubts it. EJ assures him he has no reason to lie. The phoenix picks up a photo of the kids and reminds him this is all about his children. That was why they had to eliminate real Rafe. Otherwise, he would have lessened EJ's importance as their father. He hopes EJ will concede as much. EJ just wants another drink. Stefano drawls Rafael is dead and Samantha has been neutralized. They cannot take his children away or be a threat to him as a father. "Never again." Exit the phoenix. - Back at the safe house, real Rafe is worried as Sami is bleeding. Faux Rafe leers she is fine and laughs about going to the alley cat's funeral. Sami moans. The imposter asks how real Rafe managed to escape. Sami rolls over and the imposter glances at her. Real Rafe reacts with lightning speed and attacks! They struggle and roll around. Rafe 2 appears to have the upper hand, as real Rafe is still a tad weak. Sami suddenly jumps out, grabs the gun, and yells to stop or else she will shoot! - Back at the hospital, Jen patiently points out to Abby that Mel has been through a tough time and just recently found her dad. Dan approaches with Mel. Abby starts to apologize to her. Mel is sorry too. Dan and Jen happily observe. Mel offers to give Abby a tour of the hospital. The girls flounce off together. Dan and Jen are all smiles and relieved. He will call her about next week. He adds it is a long way off, though. Jen bushes she likes the way he thinks ... - Back at the pub, Chloe insists to Brady it is not because of Victor that she wants to move out. She intends to get back on her own two feet, become independent, and fight to get visitation with Parker. Brady grins she got her mojo back. She admits someone gave her a wakeup call. Brady offers to help with references or anything else if she needs it. He calls her special and tenderly tells her she deserves to have a man who is worthy of her. Chloe blinks. - EJ's face lights up when Taylor walks into the DiMera living room. She gives him a cold stare. - Down at the pier, Nicole walks along and assures herself she did the right thing. This time Taylor will not get everything she wants. She thanks Rafe for coming thru for her. Stefano walks up behind her and demands to know what the hell she is thanking Rafe Hernandez for … - Back at the safe house, both Rafes face the blond with the gun. Sami warns them to stop or she will shoot. Real Rafe just wants a chance to explain. He approaches. Rafe 2 wants the gun and also approaches. Sami pulls the trigger! Next on Days of Our Lives "I've come to apologize and beg your forgiveness," announces Victor. Maggie folds her arms and rolls her eyes. EJ holds Taylor's hands while kneeling before her. "I love you! I love you!" Still talking to herself, Nicole vows "That little witch is gonna wish she never set foot in Salem!" |
