| Wednesday, March 10, 2010 All rights reserved. Link Only LITTLE WOMEN! - At the hospital, replay of Elvis asking to spend the night with Sami as boyfriend Rafe watches. Rafe saunters up and asks what the hell is going on here! Sami gets nervous. Elvis gives Rafe a dark look and corrects himself. It came out the wrong way. He simply wanted to be with his two children, to see them sleep at night and wake up in the morning. Especially Sydney. He is sure Samantha will understand. She realizes he is asking to stay at her place. Rafe is a tad sarcastic. EJ admits he would also like to be with Samantha. She knows what he is going through, after all. Sami wants a word alone with Rafe. Rafe suggests Elvis go give FBI Agent Clark his statement. EJ reminds him he never found Sydney and then walks off. Sami asks if Rafe will be coming home tonight to be with her and the kids. He says he wants that more than anything. So does she. However, she feels EJ is hurting too and he should be included because of Sydney. Is that okay with Rafe? He sighs. Rafe now joins Agent Clark as EJ answers their questions. He tells of the video with the demand, then the kidnapper calling to tell him it was a hoax. Rafe asks if that was when he called Sami, to inform her Sydney was dead. Yes. Rafe asks when he got the call informing him that the hoax call had been misleading. He also stares him down and wants to know what he thought of that. Did he not wonder why they had stated it was a hoax? EJ calmly replies perhaps they wished to remind them how vulnerable they were. FBI Rafe is of the opinion that call from the kidnappers will lead them to the answers they seek ... EJ accuses him of wanting to find the kidnapper merely to further his career. Rafe smoothly points out the kidnapper is still free. Does EJ not care they could do this to another family? Elvis replies he does not think they will. Rafe wonders how he could have such insight! EJ has had enough of the non pertinent questions and strolls away. Sami explains to Abe why they did not inform the authorities of the last ransom note, Once he steps way, Rafe joins her. He needs her laptop so as to examine the video. He will not stop searching until he finds the party responsible. She is glad. Now she will be able to focus on Sydney. Elvis approaches and hands her Sydney, whom she hugs happily. Both guys smile at the relieved mother holding her child. EJ tells Rafe he did not mean to seem uncooperative earlier. Is it alright with him if he stays with Samantha? Rafe puts on a brave face and brings up the fact that he might have more questions. EJ excuses himself. Rafe forces a smile. EJ makes for the elevator, after Lexie makes a snide remark about him wanting to be with Sami. She knows there is more to it than his merely wishing to be near the children and suspects he is in denial! - Chez Maggie, Mia is leaving a message for Chad on her phone. She cannot stop thinking about him. Knock knock. She hopes it is Chad, but it turns out to be Will, who grabs her in a kiss! He bears news. Sydney is alive! And he wanted to tell her right away, so she must be the most important person in the world to him. - At lovers lodge, Brady is stunned Arianna has said NO to his marriage proposal. He stands up. She stammers. He gets a call and steps out to take it. Ari also gets a call. Tis sister Gaby. The beer is dripping out of the tap at the pub. What to do? Ari suggests she ask Tony to reset the pressure. Gaby brings up Brady. Ari says he is gone, though he asked her to marry him. Gaby wonders why he walked out. Because she said no! Brady now knocks and enters. They are both uncomfortable. Brady finds it hard to ignore what just happened. Ari shows him how she feels with a passionate kiss. He wonders what that was. She replies it is clear. Just because she is not ready to marry him, it does not mean she does not wish to be with him. When she gets married, it will be forever. It is not only about love, cos she for sure does love him enough to marry him, she is just not sure she is mature enough. Brady graciously understands. He even agrees, though he reserves the right to make future offers. She teases she hopes he will! He chuckles he too might have some growing up to do. They decide to pass the time in each other's arms ... - From her hospital bed, Mel accuses Stephanie of not giving Nathan the letter. Steph does not deny it. The accusations fly. Steph feels Mel should thank her! And she believes she had one guy on a string, the other pinned down cos she enjoyed it. It was all about HER! Mel quips she must hate her. Steph quips she will not lose any sleep over what she thinks of her anyway. She reminds her how she slept with her fiance. Mel reminds her they were no longer together. Steph states they were on a break. And then she did not even tell Phillip her doubts, when she wanted to tell Nathan how she felt! She sees right through her. Mel retorts at least she is honest. Steph goes on to say maybe she should show Phillip the letter and threatens to blow her marriage out of the water with it. Mel does not want to hurt Phillip. Steph sarcastically wonders if there is a prenup. Mel calls her a b*tch. Steph warns she could ruin things for her. Mel thinks she could ruin things for her too, with Nathan. Stephanie doubts it and boasts Nathan already chose her! - Maggie staggers and tells herself not to overreact. She will just get her medicine and be fine. She soon meets Nathan at the Java Cafe, having summoned him. However, the convo turns to him, as she perceives he is upset. What is the matter? Melanie, he admits. She asks how he is. He confesses he does not think he is over her. She warns him Melanie is married! Nathan is not convinced she loves Phillip. She wrote him a letter he has not yet seen, but he has a feeling that he should have stopped the wedding when he had the chance. Chloe talked him out of it. Maggie thanks God for that! There has been enough drama. And has he given any thought to Phillip or Stephanie? Nath pauses. He did have a good time with Stephanie, yet this letter things is throwing him off. Maggie advises him to move on, like Melanie already did. He now gets paged. Maggie sends him off to heal the sick. He laments they did not have a chance to talk about her, kisses her, and departs ... - Back at the hospital, Mel snarkily calls Steph no more than Nathan's rebound. Steph counters by haughtily claiming they had already secretly been together a long time. Mel laughingly questions that. Steph warns her she could hurt Phillip. - Chez Sami, Rafe, Sami, and Sydney are together when there is a knock at the door. Tis daddy Elvis, who takes Sydney in his arms. Rafe gets his coat on and announces he must take Sam''s laptop to be examined. That way he will be able to catch the "freak." Exit Rafe. Elvis asks Samantha if she is alright. She sighs everything seems to be a mess. - Will walks with Mia outside and presents her with another gift - a St. Christopher medal, to protect travelers. He also hopes it will mean they are exclusive. Mia says "Oh" with a smile and they hug. Will is moved, though she is not exactly! - Maggie arrives home, only to collapse on the floor in a heap! She soon comes to and gets herself into a chair, gasping. - In the hospital, Steph repeats her warning for Mel to steer clear of Nath if she does not wish to hurt Phillip. Ring ring! Tis Phillip calling. Steph leaves Melanie alone to talk to her devoted hubby. - Nathan walks along the dark pier, thinking of Melanie. He decides he must talk to her about just what was in that letter! Meanwhile, Stephanie decides Nathan must hear about the letter from her and whips out her phone. - Chez Sami, EJ talks Rafe. Sami wishes he would stop annoying him. EJ chuckles Sami seems to be back. She grins she is indeed back and he should not forget it! - In the FBI wing of the police station, Agent Rafe Hernandez hands Agent Clark Sami's laptop, with instructions to have it examined. And there is more. EJ spoke of calls from the kidnapper. Therefore, he wants all records for all DiMera phone lines, including incoming and outgoing calls of the last few days. "And that's just for starters!" He is soon given the records of EJ's cell phone and looks at the times he must have called Sami. "I'm closing in on you, sucker!" he mutters. - Mel gets off the phone will Phil, sighs she will not hurt him, and falls asleep. Nath watches her peacefully sleeping through the window. Ring ring! Tis Steph, declaring they need to talk. He anxiously agrees. - Chez Sami, EJ comes into the living room, only to find Samantha and Sydney asleep together on the sofa. He pats Sydney's head and places a blanket on the pair, his hand lingering for a moment on Samantha's hand. He then sits across from them and observes the mother with child scene, his eyes filled with emotion ... Next on Days of Our Lives "I still am a DiMera. More of a DiMera than they know!" claims a disheveled Nicole, grabbing the booze flask from a fellow prisoner. "What! Why did you do that!" Mel shrieks at Ari. "I think this was set up to hurt Sami," explains Rafe from his office. On the pier, Sami is shown in tears ... |
