Kate quips she does not want to know more and strolls off ... - Abigail and Chad are at the pub, enjoying coffee and pastry. Abigail announces she must go to the ATM. Kate waits until she has exited and joins Chad. He asks about EJ. Kate craftily tells him his father needs him now. He needs to tell his man Marco, who is waiting for a shipment, to be very careful and make sure he is not followed. Chad points out Marco does pretty heavy stuff. Kate insists Stefano needs Chad’s help. Chad reluctantly agrees to pass on the message. He will be back for Abigail. When he asks what is in the shipment, Kate replies it is best that he not know. Exit Chad. Kate purrs this is going beautifully. When Abigail soon enters, Kate tells the girl that loverboy Chad had to go down to the pier to do something. Abigail frowns - Tay enters EJ's hospital room with flowers but there is no sign of EJ ! She bumps into Lexie and nervously asks where he is. He checked himself out of the hospital this morning, despite her disagreement. Lexie teases he always gets what he wants - like Tay! Tay is hopeful about her future with EJ. Now she just wants the man who murdered her mother to pay for it. - EJ is back at work at the mansion fully dressed. Stefano enters and makes a snide remark when he wants to call Taylor, He shows him the morning newspaper headline - that the police are seeking Salem cop Rafe in connection with his brutal beating! EJ wants that one eliminated before the police find him. Stefano assures him their people will get to him first. EJ sighs he has a lot on him. Stefano adds he knows all he really cares about is that the creature can connect him with the murder of his girlfriend's mother. EJ rages the imposter knows everything and one DNA test could prove it. Stefano agrees what they did to Rafael must forever be a secret. The only ones who know are the two of them and Nicole. She has been arrested, but he is not worried about it. EJ points out she already had the DNA tested. Stefano chuckles he did some fancy paperwork and also destroyed everything in the cellar. They must just find their imposter and their men are on it. They are lifting garbage cans as they speak. Soon he will be out of their lives. EJ exclaims he is trying to get a better life for himself. - Bo and Hope are at Sami's, asking if she is ready. If she can get back her life with Rafe, then she is ready for anything! Bo presents her with a working bug so they will be able to hear everything EJ and Stefano say. Meanwhile, the imposter is under lock and key, being watched by the FBI. Bo grins a DiMera informant informed them something was going down for the clan today so they will really rattle their cage! - Victor opens his front door and is pleasantly surprised to see Maggie. She holds up the newspaper and wonders why Rafe was blamed for what Brady did! Vic drawls he is not connected to that charade. It was Bo's doing. He assumes cops Rafe and Bo have a plan. Maggie quips it is convenient for him and Brady! The Greek tycoon does not deny it. She updates him on Mel's visit and explains she was also trying to make them reconnect due to the crisis. She suggested she get him out of town to prevent a war. Victor is amused. - Down at the pier, Marco is surprised to see Chad and addresses him as "Sir." Chad states he has a message from his father. Meanwhile, Abigail listens around the corner! Chad starts to say it is a warning. Abigail takes off. Chad finishes it is a warning to make sure he is not followed and then goes after his girlfriend. - Bo and Hope get ready for the plan and he advises her to bring another clip. She laments she will have to go back to being Hope Brady, not a cop, after it's over. She kisses him for good luck, puts on a big floppy hat, and they are off! - Back at the mansion, EJ rages the imposter could ruin everything! Sami walks in and innocently wonders what he means by imposter. She just came over to find out how to deal with the damage and asks if there is some sort of imposter. EJ politely says no, and he and Stefano remind her of what her split personality husband has done. Sami insists he is himself. EJ must have done something to provoke him. She starts to yell he was getting better, so they must have done something! Sami now turns around and plants the bug she was given in some flowers in a vase. EJ solemnly asks her what she is doing ... - Down at the pier, Hope approaches Marco in her big hat and starts to flirt. Bo knocks him on the head and he falls down unconscious. The money he was carrying falls too. Bo and Hope take the money and leave an envelope addressed to Stefano DiMera on him ... - Chad returns to the pub and asks Kate if she saw Abigail. Kate told her he went to the pier. Chad is dismayed she took off running when she heard him warn Marco. Kate smirks. Read Part 2 - click here! |
