Paige is dead. JJ can barely find the strength to call 911. He gasps his girlfriend and gives the dorm address. Then he holds her and weeps … Abigail is happy in bed with Ben amid the blue shadows of their bed. He bears a gift. Wedding books. Ben believes they can have it all. She gushes and they get back to making out … Chad wakes up alone on the floor of his hotel room. He cannot understand what the hell is happening to him … Hope and Rafe are at the station. She smiles she supports his investigative approach. Rafe is grateful and teases her when she gets another lavish flower delivery from Aiden … Steve gets a call from Kayla as he walks through the park. She would like to speak about their son. He drawls he will come just name the time and place. Alas the busy chief of staff gets summoned for a medical matter. Steve now spies Aiden and suggests they continue their conversation. Aiden snaps there is no more to say … Back at the police station, Roman appears as Hope departs, done for the day … Eve is with Theresa and Tate at the house of Kiriakis. Brady leaves for a jog totally ignoring Theresa. Theresa admires baby Tate and invites Eve to hold him. Eve emotionally explains it would hurt too much, remind her of how much she misses her own child Paige … Steve insists on a word with Aiden, who gets sarcastic about him supporting Bo. Hope arrives and tells off Steve when he suggests Aiden swooping in was too swift. “HOW DARE YOU!” she exclaims. Steve updates her on the letters that did not sound like Bo wrote them, though Victor is uncertain. Hope refuses to believe there is anything ISA or suspicious about Bo’s absence, believing he abandoned her. Steve cannot convince her otherwise. Aiden advises him to back off when Steve states she does not know this dude well. Steve returns his glare. And what is he gonna do if he doesn’t back off? Patchman is not afraid of confrontation baby … Two police officers arrive and order JJ away from Paige, who is officially confirmed as DEAD. Roman gets the call and must tell Rafe, who just filled him in on Chad possibly intimidating a witness. They are on their horrified way … Once at the dorm, Roman orders the cops to speak with anyone around, find any witness who saw anything. JJ is sitting on the bed. He gasps it was not him. Roman knows and asks if he thinks it was Kyle. JJ slowly shakes his head through his tears of torment. Rafe takes a long sad stare at pretty Paige lying on her back and requests a blanket for her. He then searches for clues, finding a flower petal he believes may have been on the shoe of the killer. He bags it and JJ bellows to find the bastard. Roman calms him down and has Jump Street JJ accompanied to the station to give his statement. No one knows he recently went rogue … At the club Abigail the little mom-to-be is now eating at a table. Ben must step back to work. Abigail stands up in a hurry and collides with Theresa, who drops her fashion sketches. Abigail is surprised they are hers. Theresa taunts Abigail about HER only talent being in the dark … Roman has traced Eve to the hospital. It is about her daughter. Eve refuses to step into a room for privacy and weakly wonders whether Paige is okay. Roman is so sorry and tells her she was killed. Eve collapses, crying no no no … Hope pouts and positions herself between Steve and Aiden to stop the almost fight. Steve refuses to let it go and saunters off … Meanwhile far away Bo is chained to the wall of his barbaric prison, badly beaten, gasping for breath. He has been left in the dark again, refusing to talk … Justin calls Rafe, as he heard about the murder. Rafe explains he is going by the book. They are dusting for prints, and having the red tie and petal checked out. D.A. Justin would rather Rafe arrest Chad cos the public will panic over having a serial killer in their midst. He also needs to speak with Eve … Eve woefully weeps who would hurt her sweet girl and insists on seeing her … Rafe has the results of the flower petal he senses came from the killer. It matches a rare foreign flower and he knows the kind only to well. He has seen many in the DiMera garden … JJ summons Clyde to the park and grabs him, accusing him of killing Paige. Clyde does not act surprised about Paige but makes JJ get his hands off and threatens him again. There is no way out for Jump Street JJ now … In the cold morgue, Eve holds pallid Paige and sobs she is so sorry … At the square stressed out Aiden’s money clip gets confiscated by a big baldish thug who knows him well. He leers to get the rest soon and lumbers away. Aiden starts to sweat … Hope heads home and sits alone, thinking about Bo, how he left her and she wrote him a goodbye letter. It ended with her lamenting she would always love him … Bo has a nightmare in the dungeon. He gets through the front door of his house only to hear Hope scream BO! He shouts Fancy Face where are you and wakes up … Chad sees Brady jogging at the square and asks him about blackouts and binges. Brady advises him to go to AA and forget about what happened in the two blackouts he experienced cos those memories will never be back. Perhaps that is for the best. He could have done just about anything! Brady now heads home to the mansion, where Theresa is about to drown her sorrows. He sternly states Tate’s mom should not drink … Prisoner Bo pretends to swallow a white pill. When the bad guy who gave it to him leaves, he spits it out and hides it in the crumbling wall … Steve shows up at Kayla’s office. She admits she could use his assistance with Joe. Patchman drawls he wants to fix things with their son and them as well. Kayla scoffs there is no them and gets paged away again. She pauses outside the door for a moment … Aiden joins Hope at the house and she has an answer. Yes she will marry him! … Eve is feeling numb when she goes into Justin’s office. The D.A. stands up and they embrace, no words necessary … Chad is back in his room wallowing in self-pity. He is in a foul mood when Rafe shows up at his door. Hernandez holds up the flower petal and drawls does it look familiar? Actually the dedicated detective already knows the answer … THE END! |
