There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... At DiMera mansion, Sami is petrified when she perceives the portrait of the phoenix. She screams NOOOOOOOO when someone takes her arm! EJ is sorry he has startled her. She gasps he grabbed her. He was in the garden and wondered wot caused her to panic. Sami flies at him for putting Stefano’s portrait back. She might have known they were working together! EJ emotionally insists he merely went into the garden and saw she was upset. Why would he hang up his picture like that? Sami stammers she knows not and wonders who else would have done such a thing. EJ knows the answer … Hope is at Horton house discussing Abi with Jen, who assures her things seem better. She now asks about Hope’s latest as they eat ice cream. Hope gets tense… Tense Aiden obsesses over Hope all alone at the square. He finishes his drink and slams it down, recalling her reply to his heartfelt declaration. She is a married woman! He starts on the next drink until Anne greets him, then joins his table with her wine. She giggles and flirts how many? Only one but it goes to his head. She teases she would do anything with anyone after a few and gets closer. Aiden decides to stop drinking alone and takes off. Angry Annie downs the drink he left behind … Hope pours too much chocolate sauce when Jen wonders about the next gala. She asks if they can walk and talk about something … Brady calls Dan from the hospital, baffled by the unclear delay of John's move. Dan drawls he should come by to discuss. Brady pops by, still bewildered. He senses something is amiss. Dan flashes back to Kristen warning not to give her beloved Brady false hope. All he will say is that they are checking a couple of things … Brady sighs and confesses he confronted Kristen. He was not unaffected, which led him to the next mistake of the day. He unburdens his soul about sleeping with Theresa, then goes on his way, having decided there is no miracle in store for John anyway. Kristen dares Theresa to tell her all about Brady and sits down at her club table. Theresa gets off her phone and calls her crazy. She knows she is Brady’s psychotic ex and the bitch who wrecked Eric’s life! Kristen smiles and observes her. They throw each others’ crimes in their faces. Kristen sarcastically states she should STAY AWAY from Brady. Theresa talks tough. Kristen dangerously declares I AM BACK YOU LITTLE BITCH. Theresa notes Brady hates her. Kristen boasts he was happy to see her earlier today. Theresa suddenly realizes why Brady bedded her. She then covers, refers to her wicked DiMeraness. Kristen warns her not to cross a DiMera. Stay away from Brady!! Theresa hisses she is soooooo scared. The woman in red smirks she sure will be and goes on her dangerously diva DiMera way … At the pub, woeful whispery Marlena must beg Eric NOT to give testimony against Kristen. Eric gets intense. He gasps it cannot be! Marlena updates him on Kristen’s condition to help get John out of his coma. The docs decided the formula could work but they need the rest from Stefano. Eric is appalled and does not believe. When Marlena notes Stefano’s specialists have access to much he gets sarcastic about his own experience with them, then apologizes. I WON’T DO IT! Not after what that wicked one has done! Marlena gasps she understands and urges him to at least consider … He refuses, refers to the violation of his body, soul, and holy vocation, then vows to damn the DiMera to prison … Hope and Jen stare out at the dark lake. Jen wonders. Hope asks if she has heard from Daniel. He checked on Abi, though their ship has sadly sailed. The waves ripple. Aiden comes out from behind the trees in time to overhear Hope advising Jen to give Aiden a chance at romance! He keeps listening. Jen does not get why Hope is pushing her toward Aiden. Hope has high praise for him and had thought if the right woman came along … Jen gushes she is not over Dan, then gets a text that makes her remember she has to send an important email. Hope stays at the lonely lake. Jen goes. Aiden now appears, demanding to know what the hell! She tried to unload him on her cuz! Hope denies it. He concedes he came on strong and she made it clear she is married still but that does not give her the right to meddle in his love life! Hope smells the booze and berates him for drinking. He accuses her of wanting to act superior again. Hope soap stares. Master EJ stands before Harold the manservant, demanding an explanation. The butler apologizes, but Master Stefano called that he was coming tomorrow with instructions to prepare for his homecoming, hence the return of the portrait. EJ is hard on Harold. Sami sighs it is alright. EJ snaps it is NOT and orders the manservant to respect the orders of Samantha not Stefano. He orders him to take the picture down. Harold checks with Sami first,who also wants the broken glass cleaned up, then scurries away. Sami slowly states it seems Stefano plans to return tomorrow! Eerie music plays. Theresa meets confidant Anne at the club. Anne is exasperated the girl actually thinks she has a chance with Brady and dared to mess with Kristen. She is playing with fire. Theresa suddenly gets an idea. She will act afraid of Kristen to make Brady want to protect her, hero that he is. Anne is a tad relieved when she decides to wait until John is out of the picture for full dramatic effect …Kristen appears on Dan’s doorstep and wants her lost lipstick. Dan suspects she left it cos she wanted to get an update. So far nothing on Eric. He thinks she still might go to jail. Kristen thinks Marlena will take a while to get to the point, like usual, then cuts to the chase. What can he tell her about Theresa Donovan? Dan scowls. Marlena insists she wants justice for unhappy Eric. She understands his reaction but had to ask. Eric is torn. That BITCH wrecked his life and now they want him to let her go scott free! Much to Marlena’s dismay, her tormented son storms off. He heads for the church garden, where he prays among the statues. Holy music plays. Eric whispers after all that woman did to him, he cannot do as asked! Brady happens by and wonders what is bothering his brother. Eric suspects Marlena made him come. Brady explains he lit a candle for his dad in the church. If only he could take things back! His father is now doomed to die without knowing how much he loved him. He wipes away a tear. Eric considers … Marlena visits John’s bedside and tenderly holds his hand close to her breaking heart … Kristen gathers from Dan’s grimace that he cannot stand Theresa and teases they can team up against her. Dan would rather the two devils destroy each other and explains he is busy. Kristen calls him cold and makes for the door. He drawls she knows nothing about him. She states he is stupid and cold for throwing away Jennifer the good and exits. Dan hangs his head. At the mansion, EJ is saddened that Samantha suspected him of the picture mischief. He gets them both another drink and sits on the sofa with her. Sami points out she has done so much against him, even he could not claim to trust her, just as she does not trust him. He is saddened by their stalemate, then gets to the important topic at hand. Stefano the great and powerful and unforgiving. Sami promises to deal with him. EJ announces they will deal with him together, then gets a call from Shin. Wot? When did fatha do that?! Brady unburdens his guilty conscience to Eric. He has been consumed by all his hate and bitterness. Eric gasps sometimes hate is all one can hang onto. Brady calls it a waste and apologizes for his treatment of his brother. He knew all along he was Kristen’s victim but the truth hurt. Eric is sympathetic. Brady sniffles. They are not blood but they are brothers nonetheless and he has missed him! Eric has missed him too. Brady weeps for forgiveness. Eric grabs him in a tight hug. FORGIVEN! Aiden staggers and laughs as Hope stammers she was trying to prevent him from being lonely. He claims he does not mind. She knowingly notes no one likes being lonely. They get close and exchange words. She starts to go but he pulls her back. And then he kisses her … As per Shin, Stefano has called an emergency board meeting in Salem. Sami is not surprised. EJ points out any change in leadership has to be signed in Salem. Sami realizes this means war. EJ assures her he will not let anything happen to her and the children. Sami sighs talk is cheap and walks away. EJ gets a determined look on his handsome face. Stefano will not win this time… Hope and Aiden are smooching up a storm. When they stop, Hope is horrified and touches her lips with a red nail. Aiden bolts, now drunk with passion… Dan stares at an old photo that makes him remember happier times, then unexpectedly calls Jen. She is elated to hear from him. He anxiously asks her out for coffee amid the chaos. She gushes and blushes sure. Dan will get back to her … Anne advises Theresa to avoid any DiMera but delusional Theresa decides this story will end in her favor and toasts to Kristen … Brady wants to do what is right and end his thirst for revenge. Eric agrees he is right. Brady assures him he will have his back during this upcoming trial against Kristen. Eric murmurs family counts and having his brother’s unconditional support means much … Marlena whispers she knows what John would say and now wonders whether she should have asked Eric. But she loves him too much to have given up. She cries she could not bear to live without the love of her life and holds his hand to her crying face … Eric is standing alone in the church garden when he decides to make the dramatic call that could change everything.
