BASED ON DAYSCAFE NOON TWEETS WITH DETAILS ADDED! The police station is fluid. Abe laments the tip line is not helping to Brady, John and Marlena. John plays it cool but Brady becomes even more agitated. He has a guard watching Theresa at all times. John drawls they do have a big target on their family back ... At the townhome, P.I. Paul plays the role of spoiled Claire's chaperone. She tries to convince him to let her leave but Paul will not budge. He has strict instructions from his father to keep her safe and sound inside ... JJ has returned to Horton house in full uniform to check on mama Jen. The rookie is on a four hour leave. He looks outside the window and ominously states Salem is going to get dangerous after dark ... At the pub Chad is having a business meeting with a stressed out Silicon Valley startup suit. The Silicon Valley suit is perturbed by the heavy police presence. Chad takes it all in stride and guarantees his safety. The guy thinks that sounds like the mob. Chad invites him back to DiMera mansion, which has a working generator, unlike most of Salem, which remains in the dark. He turns him down and takes off, anxious to return to the safety of San Francisco, though Chad tries to warn him the airport is currently closed. Moments later lovely Gabi flounces in with a grin and a greeting. Chad is surprised to see her out and about ... Jen hopes JJ found Gabi. He glumly states she was locked in a panic room with Chad DiMera ... Back at the pub, Gabi gushes to amused Chad that she is here to get some food. She hates feeling trapped and assures him she is armed. She shows him the secret weapon she could zap someone with. This brunette has been around the block! Chad admires her audacity and enjoys her company as always. They agree things are crazy in Salem. She teases him for doing business at the pub despite the peril ... JJ warns mama Jen that Detective Rafe said there was a rough night coming. There could be looters and even worse ... Brady, John, and Abe discuss the fugitives who have yet to be found. Marlena listens to the macho talk. Brady demands they do something now. He wants to take the fight to the three madmen instead of waiting. Marlena agrees, based on her psychological profile of Clyde. She hands the file to Abe, not caring she could be risking her license. Clyde went too far when he abducted a child and the blonde wants him behind bars. She shares details of his deep guilt over his son, the fact that he would do anything if he believed it would help Ben ... Claire begs Paul the protector to let her go to the pub, where Ninja Caroline has a super generator working. She pouts about not being able to recharge her tablet here with no wifi. Her fans will be expecting more songs from her. Paul snaps this is her curfew. Claire sulks. Knock knock! Tis Sonny, there to see Paul ... Jen realizes JJ still harbors resentment toward Chad. She disapproves. JJ blames him for what happened to Abigail. Jen reasons Ben was to blame. JJ counters Ben came along when Abigail was ready to rebound because of EJ, yet another DiMera! Jen urges her son to stop wasting time thinking of Chad. He should be spending precious moments with Gabi instead ... Chad's blue eyes twinkle as he talks about Thomas playing peek-a-boo. Gabi thinks he is lucky to have help at the mansion and muses she would have been lost without Will and Sonny helping her with Ari. They giggle about the panic room until jealous JJ calls, wondering where she is right now ... He wants to meet her at the Salem Inn. Gabi gets the food and is on her way ... Sonny greets Claire, who begs him to give her a ride. Paul motions not to so Sonny states there is a curfew. Claire steps away to sulk in another room. Paul admits he is surprised that Sonny is not at the fortified Kiriakis mansion. Sonny sighs everyone is there and it is very quiet. Paul wonders about that. Sonny explains his wing is quiet. With a worried look in his eye, he adds he wanted to make sure he was alright. Paul returns his intense stare ... Marlena gives more to Abe and the cops on Clyde. The busy mayor is about to get back to work but belligerent Brady is not done. He believes waiting is not good enough and stares him down Kiriakis style ... JJ is deep asleep on a big bed in the romantic room he has reserved at the Salem Inn. Gabi enters in a fitted dress and snuggles beside him ... Sonny stammers they are still friends and he was concerned ... Paul questions if that is really all it is. After Orpheus got away, he grabbed him. In addition, they have history and chemistry. Sonny states they cannot go there again ... A flashback appears of their last farewell after Will died and Sonny confided it was too hard to stay in town. Paul watched him with love and sorrow. Sonny had said he hoped those who loved him would be here when he came back. Paul remembers it well ... Back to the perilous present. Sonny brings up the danger of being in John's family. Paul quips Sonny's family wrote the book on that one. How he hopes they will always be on the same side! Sonny holds his head high and states he is proud to be a Kiraikis, he is not making excuses. He tells him to take care. Paul says you too. Sonny departs and Paul cannot shake a bad feeling. He senses Sonny had been drawn in too deep with the Kiriakis clan ... Brady acts like a true blue Kiriakis with Abe, fuming his family is at risk! He even wears his black like a Mediterranean man. Brady believes the time to act is now. Abe advises him to go home to his clan. Brady storms off determined to do what he must to keep his loved ones safe ... Suited Chad elegantly arrives at Horton house. Jen is astonished he went out at all. He assures her he has security plus a guard with Thomas. He also wants to assign guards to Jen. She thinks she is alright. He fears she could be targeted as a bargaining chip by Clyde. Jen eventually agrees and alludes to the guards needing to be good guys, not the usual DiMera goons. Chad is not offended and boasts of his executive bodyguards. He now presents her with a watch that he was going to give Abigail on their first wedding anniversary, which alas never came. It has two faces, one is stopped at the time he proposed and she accepted, the other is now. He gets choked up. Jen agrees to hold onto it for safekeeping for Thomas and tells him it shows time does go on as they do. They embrace and she encourages him to live his life, for it is what Abigail would want ... JJ wakes up with a start. Gabi just loves the romantic room and the flowers. JJ stands her up and plays a slow song. They slow dance and hold each other close ... Back at the Kiriakis mansion Brady is on a call. There has been a sighting of the three bad guys so he orders his guy to take them out! Sonny appears and gasps what did he do ... JJ and Gabi are still slow dancing, glad to be together. He apologizes for his secrecy the last time he went out of town. She assumes he was looking for Abigail. She calls him a hero and they kiss in bliss ... Sonny believes Brady has just ordered a HIT! Brady denies it. There was a sighting and their team has instructions in case they cannot take the three madmen alive. Sonny tells him that is actually a hit. Brady growls he got tired of taking chances. This is life or death for their family! He demands to know whether Sonny is with him ... JJ and Gabi are getting hot and heavy on the big bed but then ... JJ the cop on duty is ordered to look into break and enters already occurring in the campus area. He promises to be careful and come back when he can. Gabi sees him off with a smile and sadly looks around the room. Alone again ... Brady and Sonny are down at the docks together. They are watching dock 195 from a distance as that is where the three fugitives were spotted. Brady gets a call that they are now in sight. He orders his man to go in and take them DEAD OR ALIVE. Sonny is standing beside him ... At the station Paul updates John and Marlena that his sources tell him armed Kiriakis men have been seen down at the docks. Abe gets a call about automatic gunfire. Down at the docks, Brady gets another call and updates Sonny. It seems there was no one there. It was a case of bad intel. They both know there were longshoremen and Kiriakis men, however. The shooting erupted when someone saw a shadow. The casualty count is thus far unknown ... Back at the station Abe orders a team down to docks. John's attention is diverted when he gets a call from Claire. He greets his granddaughter and explains Paul will be back soon. Claire sounds strange. John asks where she is. Orpheus gets on the phone. SHE IS WITH ME. He smiles like the cat that has just caught the ultimate canary ...! END Ahead on Days of Our Lives: All hell breaks loose at the Salem square. |
