He assures them they are safe in the secure mansion but Adrienne is worried ... Suited Aiden pauses outside the Brady pub and smugly calls Chase. He grins he got back in town and will see him in Portland soon. He insists Hope will join them ... At Horton house, Hope prohibits Ciara and her friends from going out tonight for it is not safe. The roadblocks have restricted movement so the three madmen must still be within the city limits. Claire, Julie and Jen are all at Horton house to stay safe. Hope has to go to work at the station. Jen worries that Clyde will go after JJ ... Outside cop JJ runs into girlfriend Gabi at the square. He suggests she go home with her daughter and lock the doors. She will as soon as she gives some things to Chad, work related image consultant things. JJ notes the mansion is a dangerous place and offers to escort her. Gabi agrees. After all he is so cute in his uniform ... Steve gets sweetness home and fusses. She is a tad tired from her surgery but her eyes sparkle at him. He thinks she should go back ta bed and assumes he will be on the couch all night unless she invites him! He chuckles and flirts with cute Kayla in the kerchief. Now he will call the drug store to deliver her prescription. Kayla sighs they are always too slow. She suggests Joey stay with his friends in these unsafe times ... Steve already warned him. Steve and Kayla are both aware of the fact that Orpheus will never forgive them for the past ... Meanwhile the three madmen have weapons and disguises. Xander is pumped to go now but Orpheus is no mindless madman. He tells son to have patience and they will get revenge on all the targets. Now who on the list to start with ... Steve promises to keep Kayla and Joey safe. She is terrified cos of what went down at the wedding already. He teases she sounds like she wants him around a while. Here comes Hope with flowers to visit the Salem patient. Steve will go for that prescription. Kayla calls after him to get some pub chowder too. Steve gets closer to the women he loves - head kiss alert! Zanimal is still spouting off about that beech Theresa. He admires the explosives in his hand and Clyde advises him to be careful. They have many in the bag he now hands him. Orpheus is the brains, Clyde is the bombs, and Xander is the rage ... At the mansion, Chad praises Lucas for the good numbers at Countess W. Lucas modestly makes light of his talent ... Gabi now sweeps in with her daughter and the best designer suit for Chad. She wants him to admire his power suit. Chad admits he attempted to reach her as his corporate partner cancelled their meeting. No matter ... Chez Kayla, Hope pulls a Jen - that is she serves tea. They discuss the danger of Orpheus. Hope loves that Steve and Kayla are back together but Kayla sighs step by step. She does not deny loving him, however. All of a sudden a sound is heard outside so Hope whips out her gun a la Charlie's angel That means she is holding her gun and having a good hair day at the same time ... (psst great episode leading to the big stuff that starts tomorrow!) Joey is with the teens at Horton house. Diva Claire is desperate to get on youtube or Twitter to promote her princess self ... Lucas leaves Chad with his image consultant. Gabi talks about all the work she did for Chad's shopping while carrying Ari around. She even had a meltdown when she could not knock over a mannequin. Chad loves the suit and she smiles to check the receipts. He plans to pay her well and has another idea to share ... Flowers for a night delivery have been left at the Johnson doorstep - from Kim in California. Kayla admits she is on edge. Hope is sorry she got her gun out. They discuss Aiden digging into old cases with an agenda ... Steve hears Aiden outside talking to his phone about the digging he is doing in old cases. Steve confronts him and snaps he knows why ... Julie and Jen bore the teens with charades. Joey's taxi arrives and he is anxious to escape. Ciara suggests Claire take a step back from her stardom but diva Claire is driven and hates being stuck here ... Steve accuses Aiden of getting his DA job back to get closer to Hope, and growls to get lost, leave Salem. Aiden will not listen and boasts being the D.A. was all about his career. He has no intention of backing off ... Steve now notices a guy in disguise at the square and tries to follow him. He does so silently in his spy manner ... JJ heads home and Jen is relieved. He updates her on Gabi being with Chad, always working. They are both too busy ... Julie makes a snide remark about what the girl did to Nick. JJ tells jumpy Jen to keep the door locked and heads upstairs ... Chad is starting a charitable foundation in Abigail's name and asks Gabi for advice. She suggests two medical causes that were close to her heart. Chad embraces her and then starts to stammer, surprised by his actions ... Joey is home safe and sound so Hope goes to check on her mom at the pub. Joey locks the door. Where is dad? He is running errands for Kayla. Joey is glad he is home where he belongs. Kay talks temporary but they are both happy about it ... Orpheus is certain Steve did not recognize him and has to tell Zanimal to calm down again. They are near the docks with Clyde it seems. They move deeper into the night. Steve was behind them and whips out his phone, turning away ... Chad stammers he will have the legal papers dropped off. Theo is staying at mansion and appears, interrupting the uncomfortable moment. Chad suggests Gabi and Ari also stay. She declines and goes to get her daughter from the other room. Theo proudly shows Chad the youtube channel of Claire, only to discover she did not add anything new today ... Crafty Claire the youtube starlet sweetly offers to load the Horton dishwasher ... Steve calls Joe cos Kayla did not answer her phone. He does not mention he has a feeling he may have seen Orpheus. Joey hands it over to his mom. She mutters maybe her phone was on silent and tells him she feels fine all is well. He will get her chowder now ... Kayla sees Joey has a text from Jade and calls her trouble. Joey wants her to relax. She talks Orpheus. How to relax? He says to sleep and puts a blanket on his tired mother, who rests her weary head and closes her eyes. Joey remembers his loving with Jade. He smiles like a lad in love ... Ciara, Jen and Julie work a puzzle in the living room. JJ comes downstairs in casual clothes, a cop off duty. So he thinks ... Ciara goes to the kitchen for cookies and cries CLAIRE IS GONE! Back at DiMera mansion, Adrienne wonders where she and Lucas will sleep. Lucas laughs perhaps in the panic room, then brings up their wedding. Adrienne admits she bought the perfect outfit for Thomas for the big day. Lucas gushes she is going to be the most beautiful bride and sneaks a kiss! Gabi comes looking for the bags. Lucas replies Chad would know where they are. He had to set up a bed for Theo and also do something in the panic room. Lucas shows her the way. Gabi leaves Arianna with Adrienne and Thomas ... Joey goes outside to call his girl ... glad they can talk ... Adrienne steps away to warm Tom's bottle and leaves the 2 kids with Theo. She will also check in with security ... Hope is about to leave the closed pub but Aiden walks in and wants to talk. She appears to feel threatened. He grabs her arm before she can walk away and the lights go out! Claire has vanished and Horton house is in the dark! Claire walks and texts at the square but gets spooked when it goes black ... Gabi joins Chad in the panic room. He is removing blankets and bottles of water for the night. All of a sudden the lights go out and the iron door locks them in. They are trapped together! Theo is alone with the kids, using his cell phone flashlight ... Meanwhile Orpheus and Clyde creep toward sleeping beauty Kayla with evil intent! THE END |
