There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Dan and Kristen are getting it on! Brady is getting confused cos the door is open. The confusion stops when he spies the pair hot and heavy. Kristen moans. Brady just stands there in silence observing the shocking scene, not sure he should cry or explode – or both! Eerie music plays. Brady numbly turns away. In the tiny living room, he bumps into a chair. Dan stops. Kristen wants to keep going and so they do, mad with lust. Brady numbly walks out the door, now craving a drink … Aiden tries to spook Hope at the square café with a mask and a hand on her shoulder. No luck! But he does get to kiss the woman in red on the cheek. They discuss the kids with their hectic Halloween schedules. Aiden is grateful they could at least sneak in a lunch but alludes to living dangerously. Hope raises an eyebrow. He suggests a scary movie night. Hope agrees but Ciara does not get to choose. Aiden agrees, since his son Chase is something of a chicken. Hope laughs she is more scared of Ciara’s reaction to the tame movie choices they are going to make ... JJ cannot reach Paige on his phone and curses from Horton house ... He flashes back to complaining to Dan. He is desperate to reach her or someone to talk to! Meanwhile Paige ignores his text on her phone. The pretty teen is at the pub with Kayla, who allowed her to help cover her hospital rounds. The girl gets distracted. Kayla senses something is wrong … Eric excites Eve with the proofs and his handsome self at her apartment. She gushes her daughter is busy so they can be aloooone all day. Her final appointment before her surgery was rescheduled for tonight so they have all the time in the world. She coos he needs to know the real her and offers to play an album to showcase her stuff. Eric would rather she choose it herself. She wants his opinion and says not to be shy. Now she offers him wine. Red or white? The background banshee moans yeaaaaaaaah. Eager Eve wants to celebrate the success her surgery and singing career will bring. The former father politely turns down the offer. She sits beside him on the sofa and suggests they have much in common. She had to give up her music career just as he gave up his calling. He tries to be polite. She gushes she liiiiikes him and wants to make him relax with some vino and music. Ring ring! Eric realizes something requires his attention and races off, after telling the disappointed dame to email him her preferred pics … Marlena steps out of the hospital elevator and asks what happened. Theresa snaps her stupid ex ruined Brady’s life. John snaps she did that on her own and she should stay away from his son! The hell cat hisses Brady wants his dad to stay away, not her. Marlena drags them both to her office to avoid the public display … Bev greets Rory at the club. He is ignoring his organic chemistry book in favor of a superhero comic. She wants to know if he is coming to the beer bash in the woods today. She sips her drink and sighs last year they would have gone with JJ. She calls Paige a beech and decides Rory is better off without him. Rory still seems lost without his pal … JJ tries to strum his guitar at home, then stops. He gets a text back from busy Abigail, having been hoping for some advice. He now gets a call and assumes it is Paige. Tis unseen unheard Aunt Maggie, who gets an update on Jen being away but great. JJ adds Abigail has an interview on Jefferson Avenue. The unhappy teen fibs to his aunt he is fine … Kayla starts to press Paige at the pub over her problem. The girl glumly admits things are not good with JJ, then suddenly adds her mom does not like him. She also wants to be there for her post surgery tomorrow, hence her and JJ’s break. She sighs and excuses herself to study, thanking Kayla for taking her on her hospital rounds. She glumly goes. Kayla the do-gooder suspects Eve of meddling in her usual manner … JJ gets an unexpected visit from Rory, who misses his friend and is sorry about what recently happened. JJ needs someone to talk to. Rory says he is here and wants to know why he is still so bothered about what his dad did all those years ago … Heaving Dan suddenly stops cos this is wrong! Kristen the emotional mess agrees. They get dressed and she wonders what next. He mutters this almost mistake is over. She thanks God. He says it was nothing and she agrees. They are anxious and disheveled but not nearly as anxious as Brady, who has just ordered a double scotch at the club to numb his pain … In Marlena’s office, she orders Theresa and John to explain. She cannot conceal her shock when John ignores shrill Theresa, explaining Brady did not attack him. Theresa hisses he has no proof. But John knows all about Kristen recording her confession. Marlena turns and gives her a cold stare. Theresa the terrible argues the proof was a fraud. John never even accused her before. Marlena feels the proof should be given to the authorities. Theresa screams it is fake! Kristen is a beech and John is a liar! She storms out. Marlena now gives John a look and he sighs. Brady remembers what he saw and slowly reaches for his scotch … Dan is checking his phone messages. Kristen notices the open door. He asks if she is alright, She laments they both lost someone who mattered to them today. She wanted to forget the pain but now it is clear, the finality, that is. And so today she is leaving Salem and Brady behind! Disheveled Dan takes it all in. Paige tries to study at the library but cannot get memories of JJ out of her mixed up mind … Meanwhile Eve gets an unexpected visit from Kayla, who wishes her luck on her operation tomorrow. Eve is highly suspicious. Kayla smiles she wanted to continue their candid conversation about Paige and JJ. Eve gets even more irate when Kayla suggests there is tension between Eve and JJ. She hopes to help … Rory does not understand why what Jack did would haunt JJ’s romance with Paige. JJ laments Paige might fear he is like his father and what if he is! Rory suggests he try something to take off the edge – a beer bash in the woods tonight! Otherwise he will drive himself crazy. JJ reluctantly agrees and heads out with his friend to the woods … Theresa walks into the pub and demands Anne’s purse. She pulls out a bug and blasts her for believing Kristen. Anne is aghast about the bug and the damning recording. Theresa complains about John claiming it was true. She needs to get to Brady to do damage control… Meanwhile Marlena gets confirmation from John that he did remember after a little while that Theresa was his attacker. The recently recovered Salem patient is anxious to find Brady before Kristen gets to him. Marlena stops him, stating he does not yet have the strength. But he is desperate to find his son and forges on … Brady almost drinks, decides none of them are worth it, and walks out of the club a sober albeit angry man … Kristen assures Dan she will keep this almost slip a secret … she even roots for Dan and Jen. Dan drawls they are really done but Kristen remains a hopeless romantic. She bids Daniel farewell, kisses his cheek, walking out of his apartment and his life. Dan holds the broken picture of himself and Jen and soap stares. Hope and Aiden giggle as he agrees to get the appropriate dvds for their Halloween, including Gremlins, Arachnophobia, as well as Sixth Sense. Hope is looking forward to it. They can catch a movie at the house after the trick or treating. Aiden has to call back a client. Hope will pick up some gourmet popcorn at the deli. Aiden steps away. Hope runs into old friend, Bree, who is briefly back in Salem on business. Alas she has only a few hours left. Hope smiles next time they have to do lunch. Bree cannot help but notice that Hope looks happy. Hope gushes she is indeed … Paige puts away her books and sadly stares at a picture of the guy of her dreams on her phone … JJ joins Rory at the party in the woods. Rory gets him guzzling to get the edge off. Bev watches through the trees … Eve calls JJ too sketchy. Kayla deduces she hates his mother. Eve admits she does but it is his father who freaks her out and surely Kayla knows why. Jack was a worthless son of a beech and his son is not good enough for her daughter… Hope happily wishes her friend a safe flight and flounces off for the popcorn. Aiden comes back to their table. He freezes as Bree symbolically picks up his mask and greets him … Rory gets JJ another beer to drown his sorrows and wants to check out the babes. He convinces him to drink the second one as Bev stares from the fall leaves, wide-eyed … Kayla exclaims it is unfair to compare JJ to Jack and besides, Jack tried to turn his life around. Eve exclaims she is acting like she forgets how he assaulted her … Paige pauses and pouts at the door, having overheard the voices … Eric has been summoned to the hospital by Marlena, who is worried about Brady and John ... John appears at the Kiriakis residence and asks Henderson the butler about Brady’s whereabouts. He has not seen him since this morning … At the pub, Anne advises Theresa not to run into the fire. The temptress will not be dissuaded and vows to make things right with Brady … Eric is unable to reach his brother on the phone. Marlena has a bad feeling. Dr. Dan appears and she updates him. They worry Brady might go back to Kristen now that he knows the truth. Dan considers. He has not seen him … Kristen arrives at her hotel room. Brady is waiting outside the door. He calls her name and now has her full attention. But Brady is ready to EXPLODE! THE END |
