Chad the Salem patient sleeps in his hospital room. Eve sits at his side and leers how could he do it. She talks justice for her dead daughter ... Ben is making notes online and greets Abigail, who has just returned from the boisterous bachelorette party. She tells him they caught a thief and he is all smiles, wishing the best for Hope and her wedding. Abigail wonders what he is looking at. Websites for information on investment opportunities. Abigail assumes he is accepting that blood money reward from Eduardo and insists it all go to charity. Ben gets sarcastic. Abigail stands her ground. And that is when the trouble starts ... Bo and Steve are on the plane, which Pete the pilot has grounded until the tropical storm passes. Bo is impatient. Steve tells him to clean up while they wait and goes out on a mysterious mission ... Aiden continues to talk in circles with Hope and advises her to end it with him. He cries and claims he is not worthy ... Eve eyes the IV and Chad's machine with evil intent. She stands up. drawn to the idea of making him die until Justin snaps her out of it. He stands near the door and drawls the DiMera is not worth it ... Ben blasts Abigail for wanting him to give back the reward he earned. She accuses him of profiting from the deaths of people close to her. He accuses her of not being on his side, of preferring to believe her fairytale of Chad being innocent ... Justin is somewhat surprised Eve was permitted into the room. She points out she merely came to have her say. The D.A. does not want to stay here and reminds her she owes him a drink. When can he collect? She says now and they slink away together ... Steve returns to the jet, having just blown up the sinister safe house with a single match! The bad guys will presume them both dead. Bo has gotten cleaned up and his buddy teases he no longer looks like a bear. Bo is grateful that his buddy believed in him all this time and grateful he helped him. Steve takes it all in stride cos he knows the dude would do the same for him. Bo just wishes Hope would have believed in him. Steve reminds him Hope is not familiar with the intricate inner workings of the ISA, unlike him, so he should not be hard on her. Bo is still bothered that someone sent his wife a bogus letter signing it as him. He growls he will get his revenge on the culprit who must have done it to keep them apart ... The Salem patient is slowly but surely starting to stir. Chad dreams of the fair Abigail marrying Ben,who delivers their baby, and his eyelids twitch with tension. He flashes back to their fight, how he almost got beaten to death by Ben, the natural born killer ...Back on the plane Steve advises Bo to be patient. He agrees to play 20 questions and answers his questions about Aiden with candor. Bo gets even more glum when he hears how Aiden has won over most of Salem. Even Victor? Steve has to tell his friend that even Victor thought him dead. He was humoring him with the use of his jet on his expedition. But Steve knew better. There is something sinister about the groom, who is too good to be true ... Hope assures Aiden she loves him. He admits he ... made a mess of things. She asks how it went with his financial advisor, assuming he was referring to the mess he made with money. Aiden now remembers his situation and suggests he drank too much, hence the rambling. Ring ring! Hope sits close to her groom and opts to ignore the ringing phone, unaware it is BO. Bo tries again. She says hello but the connection is lost before she can hear him say FANCYFACE, IT'S ME ... Eve and Justin walk to the park and sit on a bench in the Salem night. She finds it unfair and ironic that Eduardo put up a $100,000 dollar reward for Paige's killer when it would have helped Paige more had he given her the money when she was alive. She woefully wonders what kind of person could have done such a brutal and violent act. Justin the experienced D.A, stares into space and solemnly states he would have to be INSANE ... Abigail screams she would feel guilty benefitting from the deaths of her loved ones. Ben screams fine but they will need money from somewhere to support the baby when it is born. He sneers they should hope one of her rich relatives dies, leaving them a fortune. Abigail is appalled. How dare he! ... Aiden believes Hope is too perfect for him. She points out she did break the law before and tries to make him feel better. She wants her happily ever after with him. She is acting desperate to have a dream to believe in, someone to love ... Steve has fixed the phone for Bo so he tries again. Hope picks up the phone. Muffled Bo says Hope are you there but all she hears is static. She hangs up and goes back to Aiden on the couch. They cuddle and she concludes it was a telemarketer. Aiden notes if it was important they will call back She agrees. There is a certain strain in the air all of a sudden as Aiden explains he was afraid of losing her earlier, hence his drunken ramblings. Hope suggests a midnight snack. Aiden stands up and gets a strange look in his eye as he imagines his dead bride. Hope is bewildered and asks what is the matter. He now claims he does not wish to break with tradition and spend the night before the wedding with his beautiful bride ... Abigail announces the discussion is over and heads for the door. Ben roughly grabs her back and bellows DON'T YOU WALK OUT ON ME! Abi stumbles and stares at him in fear. He stops and apologizes. Abigail takes off like a frightened rabbit. Ben throws a device against the wall and rages how he hates himself for becoming just like Clyde. Then he sobs ... Chad continues to stir. His breaths are deep and even ... Steve is unable to fix the phone this time. Bo loses his patience and realizes something is not right with Hope. He could hear it in her voice. The storm is raging around them but he insists they take off right away. He needs to reach her before it is too late ... After another I love you exchange, Aiden leaves Hope's house for the square, where he plans to catch a cab. That's his story ... Justin promises Eve that Chad will not get off on any insanity plea. Eve thanks him and insists on giving him a heartfelt kiss on the lips. The D.A. does not seem to mind ... Abigail has arrived at the hospital. Sensing her nearness, Chad slowly opens his eyes as his tears of torment flow ... THE END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: Chad DiMera, you have the right to remain silent ...
