There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Sami is almost finished packing boxes as butler Harold attends to the DiMera door. Ali complains she cannot leave without Veronica, then remembers she is in the garden when Hope and Ciara arrive. Ciara is asked to go to the garden with Ali and gets glum. Sami now cries and announces to Hope this is goodbye! For 6 months anyway. Hope hears all abut Sami’s upcoming Hollywood adventure. Hope is happy for her if she is ready. Sami sniffles she wants to do it for the kids, to get them far from Stefano and the house that no longer has daddy in it. Hope knows Sami is still mourning EJ and asks when she leaves. Today. They hug and Sami’s face reddens as she cries. She misses EJ plus Johnny did not want to go back to school.The kids need this. Hope thinks a change of scene would do them good. However, is she really only thinking of the kids with this new beginning? At Horton house, Jen gets off the phone and informs Abi that grandma is having surgery so Jen will be away with her for 2 weeks. Now where is JJ? He went to see Dan. Jen diverts her gaze, hurt JJ could not confide in her. Abi praises her for her help with the EJ mess. Jen praises her daughter for her own strength. Ponytail Abi hugs her … JJ meets Dr. Dan in his office and complains things are so wrong! He updates him on Jill and Rory and Paige and the party fiasco. Paige believed he was a player when Jill said so! Dan gets it. JJ wants to tell Paige what he was hiding about his father but now he has no chance to even speak with her as she has cut him off. Dan hands him a much needed glass of cold water and warns him he has to tell Paige! JJ flashes back to massaging seductive mama Eve’s hand. Dan wonders what else is troubling the teen. Nothing ... Brady has spent the night with Theresa and acts aloof about their future. She kisses him in the kitchen and coos she can make him forget Kristen. He is distant but she feels they can take their relationship to a new level. The billionaire heir excuses himself, as John is scheduled for release today … In her room, Kristen is riveted by her recording of Theresa telling Anne that she hit John, not Brady. Kristen cannot wait and makes a call. HR Anne Milbauer soon arrives with paperwork for Kristen concerning the scholarship program. Kristen smiles they must go over every detail! After getting her full name, Kristen claims to have an appointment and ushers the HR diva out the door. She now listens to their conversion she just recorded and compares Anne’s voice to the voice she heard Theresa confessing to. It is a match so she has her confirmation! Kristen the cat purrs this plan is perfect ... Jen is at the hospital, lurking outside Dan’s door when she hears him remind JJ he can hang out with Paige at his place and do what he needs to do! JJ thanks him again for the key. Jen gasps and stomps back to the nurse’s station. JJ emerges. She stops him at a Halloween pumpkin and points out she leaves today to spend a couple of weeks with grandma. She now admits she overheard him discussing an apartment key with Dan and explains she gave it back. JJ claims this key is a different one for when he and Paige babysit Parker. Oh. Jen assures her son they can communicate via text and talk while she is away. JJ is elusive and gets in the elevator. Jen sees red. She marches into Dan’s office and snaps this STOPS now! Dan realizes she is upset but the key was for babysitting. He tries to explain. Jen hisses at him for meddling in her kids’ lives behind her back. This is not the first time either! The medicine man patiently points out he keeps telling JJ to talk to his mom. Perhaps she should just sit down with him and listen. Jen flies at him for undermining her parenting skills. Dan was not doing that but she begs to differ and reminds him he lies, like that situation with Nicole. Dan gets testy about Jen’s lack of trust. He does not have a weakness when it comes to women! Jen throws it in his face that he pushed her away and continues to keep little secrets with JJ. He is punishing her with his power trip! In the DiMera garden, Ali boasts about her mom’s story being made into a movie. Ciara is fascinated by Hollywood and gets an idea. Inside the house, Sami pours tea and gasps it will be good for all of them to get away. She yearns to do something new and different. Hope agrees. Ali jumps in with her doll. Ciara lets her mother know that Ali invited her to Hollywood and asks to go. She argues Sami needs her to act in the part about the earring she meanly tried to take from her. Sami flashes back to trying to get her missing diamond earring back as Ciara adds she was a great stepsister in Cinderella and wants to be a star. Hope makes her apologize to Sami for speaking of her like that. She does. Hope suggests they plan a visit to Hollywood. Ciara hisses she wants to move, not visit, and storms out in a snit. Hope sighs her daughter is trying to escape reality. Sometimes it is best to move on. She hugs Sami and agrees she is wise to move on … Brady gets off his phone at Theresa’s place and decides to go straight to John. Theresa wants to come with. Anne appears and Brady suggests Theresa stay. Once alone with her boss lady, who brings up the scholarship from Kristen DiMera, Theresa starts to scream it makes no sense. She suspects she is really just after Brady! Anne advises her and her skinny ass to show support for someone who supported her and her crazy behavior time and time again. She is losing her patience. Theresa haughtily heads to the hospital and says she can see her own self out. Madame Milbauer is not amused … Buff and tough John is in fine form in his hospital room, walking, moving about in his t-shirt that leaves his biceps visible. He asks visitor Brady about his days. Brady assures him he is no longer in Kristen’s life. All of a sudden he gets a text that she is leaving town and wants to see him! He excuses himself in a hurry. Theresa soon arrives and slowly opens the door to John’s room. He is reposing on his bed, eyes closed. He seems to be asleep so she starts to close the door. He opens an eye and drawls she should stay. He wants to get to know her better. Theresa smiles as dangerous music plays. John smiles too. Wickedly. Attorney Aiden gets off his phone at the colorful town square, then spies a bouquet of flowers he knows a certain someone would love. He remembers Ciara and grins, reaching for a puffy pink bouquet as well … Brady heads to Kristen’s hotel room, relieved she has taken his advice to join Stefano in Europe. She has more to share and smiles and tells him to listen. Brady pauses. She talks forgiveness and gushes even Eric wants to forgive her and move on. Brady suspiciously states he speaks with his brother and will check he really said that. Kristen assures him it is true and talks forgiving Marlena, how she already forgave his father … Brady snaps to stop! They have no future! She asks if he thinks he has a future with Theresa the terrible. It is a possibility. Kristen announces she has the truth about her and wants him to hear it right here right now! Sami and Hope sip their beverages as Sami reminisces about how EJ changed. Being a parent changed him. She gets emotional about the first time she placed Johnny in his arms. Hope hugs her and assures her she is strong and will survive. She will miss Samantha Jean. Sami cries she will always love her Aunt Hope. Hope returns the sentiment. So ends their goodbye … Hope heads to the pub and sits at a table with Ciara. There are pretty flowers at their table but they cannot compare to the orange and pink bouquets Aiden gallantly presents them with. Hope’s orange flowers match her outfit and the Halloween spirit. Ciara’s pink ones match her sweet cheeks. Aiden gushes he is glad to have run into them. Ciara sulks about not being able to go to Hollywood. She could have been a star but mommy would not allow it. Aiden points out she is already a star in Salem. Ciara the Salem star smiles. Hope is touched. Sami and Johnny are last minute shopping at the square when the lad runs to Abigail. Sami soap stares. Johnny excitedly tells her about their pool in Hollywood and scampers off to tell a friend as well. Sami approaches. Abi explains she wanted to write a letter to say how sorry she was but thought it might not be appropriate. Sami snaps it would not be appropriate but stops her from walking away… Dan and Jen go around in circles and Jen complains about his Kristen association. He never explained it to her. He exclaims Kristen’s story is not her concern. She sighs nothing concerns her and adds insult to injury by suggesting she does not even know the real Daniel Jonas … John taunts Theresa about pumping his son with sex, booze, drugs and the joke of a wedding in Vegas. Theresa reminds him she agreed to the annulment and wonders about the attitude. He told everybody what happened at Victor’s, supporting her story, but now is acting different. John sarcastically states she has got that right … Kristen dramatically declares to Brady the believer that it was Theresa! She presses play and he hears Anne stating her full name. Now comes the next conversation concerning Theresa the terrible. Brady explodes, grabs Kristen by the arms, and bellows at her for playing games again. Sami admits she and Abigail will never be friends but she has let go of her hatred and anger so as not to be dragged down. She wishes the ponytail girl luck with her life. Abigail quietly says the same to her and then watches as she walks away carrying Johnny … JJ gets a call at Dan’s place but it is not from Paige. It is from his pal. JJ is desperately seeking Paige and finds out where she is. He suddenly remembers Eve and her seductive ways and sighs to himself he cannot go to Paige’s place … Dan is disappointed that Jen does not believe in him. She complains he lost interest, which he insists is not the case. She suggests they were not meant to be. Maybe she was right to have misgivings. The love she has for him is now GONE … John decides to talk turkey with Theresa the terrible. He remembers. He knows all about that night and all about her. The guilty girl gulps … Brady accuses Kristen of throwing words around. She insists he listen and presses play. In the recording Theresa confesses to Anne that she was the one who hit John with the poker! Brady the addict is horrified and has a tough time accepting the implications ...
