Deimos ends an important call about fighting to keep the family business. Nicole notes she has been thinking ... she likes being alive! Deimos agrees they have been through a great deal. She shares she worries for everyone but he promises to protect her. Nicole explains she seeks closure on her old life before charging ahead with the next. There is something she must to for this closure and it involves leaving the house. Deimos agrees as long as the guard goes with her. They embrace. Once at the door Nicole asks the dutiful guard for her jacket. He turns his back and she takes off like a bat outta hell ... At DiMera mansion Clyde comes behind Chad with his gun drawn. The devil made his way through the secret tunnel ... Theresa is in her room with Brady at the Kiriakis mansion, musing life was more simple before as she admires pictures with Tate. Brady joins her and immediately senses her fear of what comes tomorrow. He comforts her and they kiss in bliss, believing their wedding will be wonderful ... Clyde is full of crazy talk about giving Ben his boy Thomas. Chad tells him it will not work for Thomas is a true blue DiMera whereas Ben is a fool. He wonders who showed him how to get inside. Andre steps out with a sly smile ... Outside the Brady pub, Nicole is spooked by someone's strong hand on her shoulder. Tis the guard she gave the slip ... Theresa puts away her dress designs and glances at the marriage license. Brady boldly suggests they have their own wedding now ... Chad and Andre play their roles of battling brothers to perfection. They spit insults. Andre leers he lost the empire and gave money to one of fatha's concubines. How he hates him for it! Clyde tells them to stop. He demands to know where the baby is. Chad bellows he will never find him! He taunts he told the prison warden where Ben is being held to be on the lookout in case someone resembling Clyde visits with a baby boy. He refuses to reveal where his son presently is. Meanwhile Adrienne hugs Lucas in another room. They brace themselves ... Clyde tightens his hold on the gun, his eyes blazing with mad rage. Chad returns the glare with his clear blue eyes ... Theresa laments Salem is in lock down but Brady likes the fact that they have their marriage license. He gives his princess a pep talk about being positive and insists the bride and groom are here so why not just do it? He kisses her again and she glows ... Nicole stands before Dan's grave, the guard discreetly behind her. She woefully weeps to Daniel she is scared to move on. Furthermore, how can she tell him goodbye? She removes her diamond ring and places it on his plaque in tears. All of a sudden the guard collapses. Nicole gasps in horror. There stands her worst nightmare. ZANIMAL! He leers she will be joining Daniel on the other side sooner than she thinks ... Clyde orders Andre to leave him and Chad alone. He defends Ben, insisting that it was Chad who pushed him over the edge. When he calls Abigail a HO, Chad counters his son was a psycho! Clyde slugs him for sneering and he falls to the floor. But he continues to sneer ... Brady and Theresa play wedding. She is the bride and he is the groom. He places petals in her path and tells her to think of their honeymoon. She gets emotional about loving him. He gushes he loves her and she makes his life worth living. She smiles about the honeymoon soon and the almost newlyweds say their I dos and kiss ... Clyde cackles no cavalry is coming as Andre disabled the security system. He had the panic button cut too. Andre now brings handcuffed Lucas and Adrienne inside to tell where Thomas is. Clyde rages he will shoot one if they don't ... Nicole can see that Xander has blood in his eyes. She tells him not to add murder to the long list of charges against him. She tries to get him to talk about trying to kill her before when she was trapped with Eric. To buy more time she babbles she can get him money and offers to arrange his great escape. She opens her handbag for her phone and stammers Deimos the great and powerful is on her speed dial. That one would do anything for her. Zanimal takes the bait and makes the call. Deimos answers from a bench by the park. Zanimal lets him know Nicole is tied up. Deimos smells a deal and demands to know what he wants. Big money. Deimos suggests he bring Nicole to the mansion. Xander chooses another place ... Xander has Nicole in a room when Deimos arrives with the money having added tickets to Greece. He rushes to Nicole's side. Xander hisses he could kill Deimos and use Nicole as a hostage. Deimos makes him an offer he cannot pass up. He can give him Theresa too! Nicole loudly protests ... Brady and Theresa have their fantasy wedding ... Clyde rages where is the baby! Adrienne gasps he is safe. Lucas tries to stand in front. Clyde threatens to shoot them both and appears ready to make good on his threat when all of a sudden BANG! Andre shoots Chad, who falls to the floor with fake blood on his shirt, eyes shut. Andre smiles slyly. Adrienne lets out a blood curding scream. Lucas watches and waits. Clyde cries what da hell he was mine! Andre tells him to take credit. Clyde hears a baby cry and runs out to follow the sound. The others stay behind. Adrienne weeps as Lucas assures Chad he will be alright ... Brady and Theresa exchange heartfelt vows ... Meanwhile Deimos dangles payback for Theresa to Xander. Nicole says to stop. Zanimal declares it is a deal IF he can get him out of the country with Theresa as well as the money. Nicole protests again. Xander fears she will tell all to the police and seems to get cold feet. Deimos declares he will not let her do anything, no worries. Nicole tries to take off but the guard is now outside the door. Deimos covers her mouth with chloroform and she falls into his arms like a ragdoll ... Brady will never let Theresa go. Until death do they part. They kiss passionately. Meanwhile Nicole is out cold. Deimos tells Zanimal he will bring Theresa to pier 17. The maniac muses he will torture and kill her. Deimos acts pleased about it and reasons that will make Brady fall off the wagon. He will be a step closer to claiming the entire Kiriakis empire. Xander is mighty impressed ... Back at DiMera mansion, crooked Clyde leans over the crib where a blanket rests and misleading crying sounds play ... END! Ahead on Days of Our Lives: More madness and a heroic move! |
