Steve escorts Kayla in and lights a candle to thank the man upstairs for her safety and Marlena's. Kayla lights one for Hope. Patch points out she saved the world from Stefano. He feels she deserves to be freed. Suited Andre appears and calls him a hypocrite ... At Horton house, JJ is obsessing over his cheatin heart. Jen the church goer talks forgiveness from Gabi and presses him to tell Gabi the truth ... Gabi has just kissed Chad at DiMera mansion and he clearly enjoyed it. Bradley's wife believes it was just a show ... At Kiriakis mansion Brady is waiting up for Theresa, who comes home remembering Victor's warning he could not help her from powerful Mateo. She cried he would kill people and Brady would be at risk. She sighs it is showtime and staggers in, acting drunk. She gets herself another drink. Brady reminds her she was scheduled to pick up Tate. He had to bring him home. She slurs up a storm like her partying days. Brady demands to know what is going on and she keeps drinking ... Andre faces off with Steve, who notes he is not an injured party. Kayla calls the DiMeras killers. Hope was provoked by Stefano! Andre hisses Hope is a Brady and a HO-ton. Steve drawls he would hit him if not for the church. Andre scoffs he simply wished to light a candle for fatha the victim and waltzes out, his head held high ... Gabi and Chad lie they are a secret couple but the wife gets beeeechy. They eventually convince her they really are a couple. She hopes they will make no mention of what happened here to her overly jealous spouse. The big Bush returns and demands to know what she was talking about ... Theresa plays the part of the desperate almost housewife to perfection. She gasps she has got to go clubbing to keep her buzz. Brady cannot believe it. She screeches about their boring life ... JJ tells Jen he was lucky to get Gabi and cannot lose the girl he loves ... Bradley's siren of a wife states she figured out Chad and Gabi were a secret couple. He is proud of her power of observation and praises her intelligence. Now the time has come to talk business ... Brady is heartbroken that Theresa is falling apart. He blames himself for putting pressure by leaning on her. He lets her know he loves her so much. She is the best thing that has ever happened to him. He will be here for her as she gets through this hard time. Theresa breaks down in tragic tears ... Bush et al are at the Brady pub having pie. The rich man is impressed with Caroline's culinary talent. After some questions, he hears Chad and Gabi were high school sweethearts. Gabi smiles she liked him more than he liked her back then. But then they both married. After a while tragedy rocked their worlds and brought them closer together. The blonde siren seductively touches Chad under the table with her foot ... Andre has left the building. Steve declares he loves the beautiful matron of honor for tomorrow and she blushes. On bended knee in that church he produces the ring she has seen before and asks the love of his life to pleaaaaaase marry him. Kayla replies with a resounding YES. They gush, giggle, and emotionally embrace ... Steve wants a kiss. Kayla wants to go home. Steve states Joey has some friends over and takes her by the hand. There is somewhere special ... Jen calls Adrienne to announce the funds were received so the Spectator deal is done! JJ overhears and likes it. Jen smiles now it will become the same good paper as when Jack ran it. They fell in love there. JJ hopes he can have that forever kind of love with Gabi and texts her about her whereabouts. Meanwhile Chad jumps up in his seat and fibs there may have been a mouse. The wife tries to stroke Chad's foot with her own long foot under the table but tickles Gabi's instead. Her husband steps away to take a call. Gabi blasts her and threatens to expose her nefarious behavior ... Bradley returns and notes he is not so sure he wants to make a deal with DiMera. Chad calls him his first choice. Gabi wonders what the wife thinks and gives her a knowing look. The siren praises Chad to high heaven so Bradley agrees to invest in DiMera. Paperwork to follow. They depart arm in arm. Chad and Gabi laugh. Gabi claims she just kissed him to keep the woman away. Chad is glad he hired her and had a great time. Gabi now notices JJ's text on her phone and excuses herself. Chad ends up alone again ... Victor finds Brady sitting alone in the dark. The billionaire heir is hurt and bewildered. Vic is very worried about Brady, who is worried about Theresa being out drinking with Anne the lush. Sad music plays as the Greek tycoon tells his grandson he does not think the girl can be saved this time. He stares at him with sympathy ... Jen is already working on her first editorial. JJ thinks Abigail would love this. Jen wishes she could hire her and remembers her daughter's smile. Ding dong! Tis woman in red Gabi. JJ wonders why she is dressed up and what was she doing ... Andre is having a drink when Chad arrives home. He asks where he has been. Chad explains how Gabi helped him close a deal with Bradley Bush. Andre is relieved to hear it and hands brotha his now empty glass ... Steve has a romantic room waiting for him and sweetness at the Salem Inn. They start to make love like the old days ... Brady wipes away his tears. Theresa just went and snapped. What can he do? Victor is sorry and hugs him ... Gabi enlightens Jen and JJ on her symphony with Chad. Jen goes to bed and JJ kisses his girl ... Back in the DiMera hallway Andre gets a phone call. He sighs to Laura that she is Abigail's grandmotha who should be able to keep the girl in line. Pause.
