She looks surprised when Chad stops by her room. He wonders who else she was expecting ... Jailed Ben looks up when Jake whistles, there to have him released ... At DiMera mansion anxious Abigail wonders why Gwen texted her. Gwen acts insecure about the high society party she planned being a bust. Abigail assures her Julie was impressed with her planning. Gwen quips the big budget helped. She especially hopes Jack and Jen will be pleased. Abigail feels her folks deserve a celebration. Gwen now gets to the last thing on her list ... Justin is bewildered. Jack remembered this is also Justin and Adrienne’s anniversary, not just his and Jen’s. Justin has not forgotten that fateful day they were all wed after Eli and Lani’s wedding plans went to hell. Jack understands him not attending his and Jen’s party because of Adrienne as well as a certain someone. Justin peers at him ... Blue suit Jen finds it odd when Bonnie boasts she and Justin are friends, and he forgave her too. Prim Jen points out she caused Justin and Adrienne great anguish so there is no love lost there ... Kate senses Chad has an agenda. He would appreciate her attending the party for Abigail’s folks. Kate questions the idea ... Gwen asks Abigail to shut her eyes and turn around for a surprise. Now open. She exclaims “JJ!!!!!!!!!” and hugs her handsome returned brother, who has traveled far for her. Gwen arranged his entire travel itinerary. Abigail suddenly realizes Gwen duped her into coming downstairs. Indeed. Abigail is over the moon and so grateful as is JJ. Gwen excuses herself with a smirk. The best is yet to come ... Kate was not invited. Chad is inviting her now. She notes she is not close to the couple of honor. He wants her to come, have martinis and make catty comments! She wonders why. He alludes to her being alone since Andre was lost and teases to bring a date if desired ... Jake escorts Ben to his Salem Inn room, where there are endless reminders of Ciara ... Abigail updates JJ on Gwen the great nanny and assistant. He noticed she was pretty, unlike Miss Jane from the Beverly Hillbillies, whom she sounded more like. Abigail wishes he would not be sexist, so he grins and apologizes. Life is beautiful for them both these days. JJ likes working with Theo in Africa and feels his life now has meaning. Abigail is glad things are especially better for their dad ... Jack and Justin discuss Kayla, how Justin loved and let her go. Jack smiles Adrienne always said he was a man who time and time again did the right thing. Justin adds he even forgave Bonnie and wonders what Adrienne would think. Jack gasps in horror ... Bonnie boasts she donated all her lawsuit money to Sonny’s company in Adrienne’s name. Jen had no idea. She notes Justin knew right before he forgave her, and his opinion is all she cares about. Jen believes Bonnie was sincere with her donation. Bonnie thanks her and shares her concerns about Justin. The party that coincides with his Adrienne's anniversary might be hard on him. Jen informs her Jack went to see him ... Justin tells the now shouting Jack about Bonnie’s donation but Jack bellows it is part of her game. Justin refuses to be mad forever for nothing will bring his wife back ... Ben confesses to curious Jake that he accomplished nothing with Vincent, who claimed he had killed Ciara. He still cannot believe she is gone for real. Perhaps that was Vincent’s plan ... Back at DiMera mansion, Abigail teases will JJ jump out of the cake? He smiles Gwen suggested he have a private reunion with sis and their parents before the party. Abigail is touched. JJ wonders whether Gwen this perfect pretty person is single ... Before Bonnie heads off in her cowboy hat, Jen alludes to Jack not being likely to forgive her for robbing his sweet sister of a year of her life ... Jack stops himself and assures Justin it is good he has forgiven Bonnie ... if it makes his life easier. Justin has something else to share. Jack gets worried. Justin kinda likes her, the way she makes him laugh. Jack tries to be noble. Justin sends him to the party and thanks him for coming. It did make him feel better. Jack states sis Adrienne had excellent taste, pats him on the shoulder and elegantly departs ... At DiMera mansion, Abigail sighs yes Gwen is single. JJ calls her the hot nanny. Chad comes in and they heartily hug. Time to get ready for the big bash! When Abigail gushes it will be a night to remember, JJ jokes that was the title of a Titanic disaster movie. Chad chuckles nervously and wants a last-minute word with his wife. His eyes reflect the seriousness of the subject he is about to broach ... Ben looks away. Jake invites him back to work at the garage with him. It helps clear his head. Being here all alone is unwise. Ben agrees and plans to repay him for the bail. Jake does not need it and invites him to the pub for a beer and some food. Not tonight but he will be alright, man. Jake accepts that and goes. Ben clutches and smells Ciara’s dress ... Abigail is cross Chad invited Kate to the party. He notes she will hardly be noticed and adds she means much to him. Abigail agrees and he promises Kate will behave. They hug ... Fully dressed Kate waltzes out of her room. Seconds later Gwen sneaks in and opens a shoebox from the closet. Inside is a letter. Gwen is smug as a bug it is still there for tis a key part of her plan ... At the square Jake wolf whistles at suited Kate as she shuts her glam designer purse. Romeo wonders where she is heading. To Abigail’s parents’ party. The one Gwen put together. Jake wonders what Gwen’s agenda is this time. Kate the cat takes it all in ... Gwen compliments Abigail on her dress but Abigail cannot find her shoes! Gwen slyly suggests they borrow a pair from Kate’s collection for they would measure up to her high style standards ... Ben touches his face with Ciara’s dress as he stares into space ... Bonnie runs into Justin outside the pub and invites him for a beer. Not now but maybe another day. Bonnie is tickled pink ... Kate gets sarcastic about Jack and Jen’s dull gathering and suggests Jake make it more fun as her plus one. He raises his eyebrows and uses the D word. Date ... Jen has changed for the party and Jack is astounded to hear she had a chat with Bonnie. Jenny believes she is trying to change. JJ appears and a happy family hug follows. Gwen did not want him to miss the big bash. Jack and Jen’s pure hearts do not suspect a thing ... Meanwhile Miss Party Planner and Abigail enter Kate’s room. Gwen suggests the silver shoes and not so accidentally knocks down a box of secret letters. Abigail picks them up from the floor and comes across the envelope Gwen was counting on.
