She calls out for Caroline, who has summoned her and enters. No one waits. She starts to panic Mateo set this up. Mama Kim comes up behind her and promises her jumpy daughter she is safe meeting them here. She tells her to take up Shane on his offer ... At the station, Hope looks depressed. Rafe hands her a cup of coffee. She worries about Ciara, whom she has not heard from since her arrest ... Ed meets Dario at the park. Ed suggests they go after the family with the most weakness to be exploited - whether that is the Kiriakis or DiMera clan ... Nicole thinks this is different, getting such a sweet call from Deimos. He implores her to meet him at the square soon. She agrees ... Chloe ends a call with Parker, who is staying at his little pal's place. She coos she will come get him tonight. She now remembers the day she declared she could be Nicole and Daniel's surrogate. Back to reality. She sighs she will eventually tell her. She asks the baby about it ... Ed is with Dario and Deimos at the park. He explains to the Kiriakis that customs would not be involved in their sealed containers. Deimos the smooth operator gives him a rate. Dario accuses him of trying to rip them off and they decide to go to the DiMeras. Deimos boasts they are better as the DiMeras are the new kid in town. In addition, they do not have his connections with corrupt customs inspectors. Ed wants the bottom line. Deimos puts a 20% discount on the table. They now have a deal. Ed smoothly shakes his hand ... Rafe assures anxious Hope that Ciara will come around. She may have been upset in the moment but loves her mom. Hope gasps she is going to lose her daughter. Rafe tells her he and Roman will fight the good fight. Hope laments she is not only facing murder charges but also obstruction and falsifying evidence. It is dire indeed ... Kim informs her daughter she got in the back way unseen. Shane will do the same soon. Theresa disagrees with his idea of disappearing. Brady would confront dangerous Mateo. She has her own plan ... Rafe loves and is here for Hope. He suggests he get takeout from the pub and she laughs a little. Ciara numbly walks in. Hope emotionally embraces her. Ciara confesses she did not want to come but Theo insisted. For he misses grandfather Stefano and asked her for answers! Now she must know every last detail ... Nicole sips iced tea at the square. Chloe calls. She asks to meet her at Cafe Leo near Chicago. Nicole can come later but Chloe needs to do this now. She has something to say, there is something she needs her to know. It sounds important. If only Nicole knew! Nicole will see her soon and ends the call. Deimos approaches and questions how long she has been in contact with Chloe. He points out he has paternal rights so Nicole tells him as it turns out he is not the father. He cocks his head in confusion ... Deimos accuses Nicole of scheming with Chloe so she updates him on Phillip's news that those test results were not rigged and he is not the father, nor is Phillip. Then who is the father of that baby! Alas Chloe has not divulged his name. Deimos drawls damn it and decides to demand another test today. He convinces Nicole to let him come with her and they depart together ... Shane hugs Theresa at the pub and sits with his arm around Kim, who informs him that Jeanie will not do as he suggests. Shane has resources. Theresa laments it is too late and Mateo even left his creepy calling card in Tate's pocket. Shane calls him a bastard and wonders what exactly he wants. For her to return to Mexico with him. Kim protests. But Theresa seems to have given up. Kim and Shane are dismayed when she tells them she will give into the drug lord's demands ... Rafe reminds Ciara what Stefano did to the Bradys but Ciara snaps he did not deserve to die. Rafe reasons he was a master torturer. Hope hangs her head. Rafe clasps her hand and gives them a moment. Hope weeps she has no excuse for her actions. She was wrong! Ciara soap stares and suddenly screams at her mother for being a hypocrite and a killer. She knows Stefano was a thug but she had no right to kill him. Hope woefully agrees. Ciara demands she explain. Hope explains why she believed Stefano was responsible for Bo. Then he taunted her. She has no memory of shooting him but evidently did ... Theresa tells her father she can play Mateo. Kim and Shane predict she will end up in peril. But Theresa believes she too can be a spy. She weeps she will leave Brady and Tate and pretend she has gone back to her wicked ways. Then she will move in with Mateo in Mexico and gather enough intel to prosecute him. Shane exclaims this is not a Hollywood movie! Theresa tells him she has no other option. It is the only way she has a chance of protecting her family. Her parents are a loss. Hope admits she will never be able to forgive herself for what she did. Ciara cries and gets why she was so stressed all this time. Hope worries about her baby and hugs her, repeating how sorry she is. Ciara loves her mom. Always. They shall overcome ... Chloe hugs Nicole at the cafe, them reacts unhappily when Deimos appears. He accuses her of games and she accuses him of harassment. He requests another paternity test and Nicole notes there is a baby involved. Chloe wishes she had come alone. Deimos talks tough about getting a court order. Chloe angrily agrees so he will leave her alone and they take off together ... Shane warns sweethot of the dangers. Theresa exclaims she knows Mateo is a psycho and states she started this by living on the wild side. She breaks down about having to pay for her past soap sins. Kim is speechless ... Ciara suggests Hope plead temporary insanity. Hope plans to own up to her actions. Ciara cries she has to come back cos she needs her mother. They embrace as the tears flow ... Theresa hopes Shane will help her. He states such an operation would take years. She believes she will be good and fast. She has this kind of work in her blood. Kim pressures papa. He agrees to ask around for some ISA support and steps away. Kim gets candid. How is Theresa going to end things with Brady and walk away from Tate? Theresa weeps this is the only way. But she will always love Brady and would do anything to save her baby. Kim is concerned she will have to work under the covers not just under cover. Theresa snaps she knows she slept with Victor once upon a time to save Shane. It is no different and she is determined to do whatever it takes ... At the clinic, Deimos is suspicious the doctor left them alone. He leaves for the lab to oversee the samples. Chloe confronts Nicole for bringing the bastard she was running from right to her. She accuses her of desecrating Daniel the good's memory with that dreadful man. Nicole soap stares, surprised she has brought Daniel's name into the drama ... Back at the Brady pub, Kim praises her daughter for being a devoted mother and wife. She doubts people will believe it when she changes back to her bad ways. It turns out Theresa has a plan, which begins with breaking Brady's noble heart ... Ed chows down with Dario at the square. The former spy sensed it was right to go with the Kirikais clan. Dario worries Rafe will find out what they are up to. Ed solemnly states Gabi and Rafe cannot find out and they drink their red wine ... Hope happily updates Rafe on Ciara forgiving her. Rafe promises to look out for her and asks how to help the woman he loves. Hope announces she seeks an audience with Andre DiMera. Rafe was not expecting this ... Ciara meets Theo at the park but he is disinterested in hearing what Hope said. He treasures their friendship. Ciara states she does too and puts her head on his shoulder. They sit in silence across the flowers ... Nicole snaps at Chloe to stop scolding her about Daniel's memory. But Chloe blasts her for siding with Deimos the devil. She doubts she even knows Nicole anymore! Nicole offers to leave. But first what did she mean when she said there was something she needed to know? Is it by chance connected to the baby? Chloe considers whether or not to tell her the truth - that she is carrying Nicole and Daniel's child. Pause. Nicole waits for her answer ... END! |
