She accuses him of being overly protective and dares him to admit he is after the fair Abigail ... Shawn has no choice but to arrest Ben for assaulting an officer and attacking a suspect while in police custody. Ben gets it and stands still as he cuffs him. Dangerous drums play ... Tripp turns away. Steve apologizes. Tripp knows he is on his side and goes silent when he learns the results are in ... Allie wants to know whose side Kayla is on. Kayla feels for her but suggests they focus on what the test reveals. Allie fears her nightmare is far from over ... Chad chuckles as Abigail brings him up to date on the details of Rolf’s crazy clone idea. He wanted to use real Stefano’s cells. Chad calls him wanting to implant Kayla creepy. He suggests they throw Steve a parade for saving the day! Abigail now mentions her raise for Gwen the great, the party planner who is going above and beyond. Downstairs Gwen taunts Jake for having the hots for Abigail and warns him not to come to her anymore. He drawls if he sleeps with anyone under this roof it ain’t gonna be either of them. Kate listens at the ajar door as Gwen tries to get the name of the lucky lady. She innocently interrupts. Gwen accuses Jake of pestering her and departs. Kate flirts and wonders what was really going on ... Upstairs Chad does not wish to discuss Gwen. He wants to discuss how he missed his wife. She missed him too and they kiss in bliss on their big bed ... Shawn offers to speak to the D.A. Ben already knows Trask hates him. When he hears he must spend the night in lockup, he numbly notes he cares not where he is. He wishes he were dead ... Tripp and Steve arrive together. Kayla informs irritated Tripp that Allie also has the right to be here. Allie just wants the results. Tripp solemnly stares ... Back at the grand DiMera mansion, Kate gets a drink and suggests she saw sparks between Jake and Gwen. He insists he hates her, so she smiles sparks turn into flames. He quips Gwen would have to be the last woman in the world to light his fire. Kate probes the identity of the woman he wants who is also under the DiMera roof ... Gwen knocks on the door so Chad stops kissing Abigail, who assumes it is one of the kids. Party planning Gwen apologizes for the paperwork that needs signing. Chad thanks her for all her planning and she praises Abigail the wonderful, who has such loving supportive party-worthy parents. Chad goes to check on the kids after roguishly grinning he cannot wait to come back to his wife ... Ben gets Shawn is also grieving Ciara. Shawn feels for Ben, who wonders how to live without her. Shawn suggests he honor her by living his life ... While Kate drinks, smitten Jake smirks he likes bad girls. Does she know any? She coos she will let him know, smiles sweet dreams and slinks away as he eyes her ... Upstairs Abigail agrees with Gwen’s insistence that tis the right time for a family party.
