At the station Abe is in a mood seeking Eli, who is not at work. He growls to Lani that Sheila is not here so she is officially fired ... Claire whispers about paying off Wyatt. Tripp curses ... Ciara argues Wyatt was the one who confessed but Ben updates her on Wyatt admitting to him that he was covering for Tripp ... Jen slaps Chad for betraying Abigail ... Gabi arrives at Abigail’s room having lied to the nurses that she was her sis in law. Abigail eyes her with suspicion and snaps what does she want ... At Jen’s door Chad argues they had agreed on committing Abigail. She fumes he abducted her and she went into labor at the remote cabin. Tripp tells Claire to cut it out. She insists him setting up Ben for the fire was noble as he was the necktie killer. Tripp fears Ciara will never forgive him. Claire believes Tripp acted with courage and honor. He starts to listen. She dares him to tell her he has no regrets about framing Ben. Tripp does as asked but seconds later Claire gets a text about Wyatt returning her money to her account. Tripp assumes the worst ... Chad refuses to say he is sorry. He had to protect both of Abigail’s children. Jen sadly states Stefan will not let her see her granddaughter and makes Chad leave ... Gabi and Abigail accuse one another of being a fake friend. Gabi rages she is also barren because of her! However her less than saintly sweet friend was forgiven. She pouts but now she has been punished. She dramatically declares she donned the wig and pretended to be Gabby. Abigail threatens to expose her. Gabi claims no one will believe a crazy girl. Abigail snaps and springs into action, grabbing her by the throat ... Eli buttons his shirt and tells Lani he and Sheila are only pals. She finds out Sheila was sick from something she ate last night. Lani now informs Sheila that Abe already fired her. Sheila heads off to fix things. Eli wonders why Lani was so hard on her. He was up all night helping Sheila. Why is Lani so livid? Is she actually jealous? ... Claire leaves Wyatt an anxious message. Tripp stammers it could be a glitch. Claire stammers the cops could find out the truth. She takes off to stop Wyatt ... Ciara insists Tripp has no funds to have given Wyatt. Ben calmly replies Claire paid Wyatt for him ... Abigail rages Gabby could kill her and chokes Gabi against the wall. Enter Chad. He pulls Abigail off ... Pretty Lani pouts she is not jealous but Sheila made her look bad in front of Abe as she argued her case ... At the station Abe assumes late Sheila woke up late from partying. She flat out refuses to accept his firing ... Chad holds struggling Abigail and suggests she breathe. She screams Gabi is lying when her adversary announces she blamed her and attacked her. Abigail begs Chad to search her bag for the wig but said wig is no longer there. Abigail gasps she is not crazy and tries to get closer but Chad stops her again. Abigail groans. Gabi suppresses a sinister smile ... Chad slowly releases Abigail, who rages about the wig! Gabi flashes back to pushing it on the floor with her foot until it was out of view. She calls Abigail violent as her former friend struggles and screams at Chad that she will not get away with it. He calls for help ... Ciara approaches Tripp at the square and repeats what Ben said. That Wyatt was claiming he was the one who framed him. Tripp gets tense ... Claire is searching for Wyatt but runs into Ben instead. He asks why she lied about him. Claire soap stares like a scared rabbit ... Lani explains to Eli that she really wanted to help Sheila so she could afford her own apartment. Eli grins and gets it. Lani leaves and he teases he will see her soon. Lani lies he was not missed and his smile widens ... Sheila asks Abe for a second chance cos Eli’s leftover oysters made her ill. Abe does not believe her but then she barfs on his shoe ... Ben questions whose side Claire is on cos if she is working for Tripp it is not his ... Ciara is sorry she suggested such a crazy thing ... Tripp tells her the truth. In fact he framed Ben. She is close to tears ... Seconds before Chad comes back from getting Abigail restrained, Gabi stuffs the dark wig back in her bag. She feigns sympathy when he notes the girl will never be the same. But when he walks out she smiles like a wicked schemer who has won. For now ... STAY TUNED! |
