Jack announces to JJ he wants to apologize and fix what he broke with the fair Jen, who overhears ... Kristen is stunned to learn Lani heard Brady mentioned in Eli’s clandestine conversation with Abe. Lani then cornered Brady and vowed to get to the truth ... Eli lies Brady is only out to get him. Stony faced Chad demands to know the secret. Jake claims he is in communication with the board about taking his place at DiMera. Gwen overheard him. Gwen backs up his fake story. JJ shares a poignant hug with his stressed mom ... Jack and Kate sit on a bench beside the park. They are both sorry. She sighs someone finding that letter was such a fluke. Jack is curious why she even kept it. Because Jack wrote that she helped him and that night they made a connection. Ooooooo ... Eli argues he had Abe’s support. Furthermore, Kristen did confess to stabbing Victor. Lani is enraged he enlisted her father’s involvement. Eli argues he was trying to protect her babies and their mother from a stressful situation. She assures him she is staying home. He breathes a sigh of relief until she announces he can leave and go stay with Abe. His wife is livid he put Kristen in the slammer and lied to her ... Kristen tearfully tells Brady what Marlena said. Brady holds her hands and smiles Rachel is a tough cookie like her mama. They are both perfect ... Abigail joins Jake at the garage, where he is hard at work. She came to apologize. Not necessary! She heard from Chad she passed out on his lap. Jake grins the guy overreacted ... Before he goes she asks him to check on Lani. He assures her that her friend will be fine with Eli ... Eli woefully leaves with his bag after Lani refuses to talk anymore and tells him to go. He wants her to know he loves her. Once alone, she gasps ... Chad joins working guy Jake. He checked with Shin’s assistant and knows for a fact that he made no contact, so what were he and Gwen really discussing ... Gwen smirks at Stefano’s portrait and promises to say hello to his old pal Rolf. Tis time for phase two ... JJ opens his door and informs Abigail that Jen just took her leave ...
