Will takes Paul inside their new place. Paul muses the empty apartment is minimalist. Will curses ... Claire informs Tripp she found someone to take the fall for him ... Wyatt will not have a lawyer and repeats to Rafe and suspicious Hope he was the one who set up Ben by planting his print on the accelerant can ... Ben woefully wishes Ciara luck and walks. She watches him with a sad little sigh. He pauses outside and also sighs ... Abigail and baby get a blanket from doting Chad at the cabin. She loves her healthy girl and the fact that Chad is here. He marvels mother and daughter are both healthy. The baby sleeps ... At DiMera mansion Gabi ominously advises Stefan not to call the cops on her. He pauses and taunts her a tad about what she did to Abigail. She declares it would be dumb to expose her to the law. Stefan dares her to explain ... Abigail is tired. Chad urges her to rest. He will watch the bundle of joy. He takes her in his arms as Abigail admires the sweet scene. She stretches out on the sofa and smiles. Chad rocks the baby. Abigail falls asleep. Chad speaks to the little one and admires her baby blues ... Back at DiMera mansion Stefan gets close to his chess set and suggests Gabi state her case. She reasons Abigail as a healthy woman could not be committed and would go back to Chad. They always do wind up together ... Will fumes on his phone about the furniture taking a few weeks. Paul stops him and gushes he knows how to get it done ... Sonny stands up after reading an article about Ben and finds himself face to face with him ... Wyatt informs the curious cops he acted to protect Ciara from Ben .. Claire enlightens Tripp. She bribed Wyatt to confess. Tripp thinks that is no guarantee and gets worried she actually admitted the real proof planter was him. She suddenly turns and sees Ciara standing there ... Will gets a visit from an old furniture friend of Paul, who came with truckload of furniture. Paul smiles... Sonny suggests Weston keep walking. Ben points out Will remembered everything and wonders why they are even apart. Sonny gets mad. Ben reminds him he interrupted his wedding to announce Will was alive. Sonny blasts him for attempting to make Abigail unravel. Ben apologizes and insists he was trying to do the right thing. Sonny remembers himself and Will woefully saying goodbye for Paul’s sake. Back to the present. Sonny gets testy. Ben insists he tried to do the right thing. Sonny alludes to the murders. Ben snaps he was sick and is being badly treated again. Sonny warns his rage will lead him back to the slammer and steps away, entering the pub. Ben takes his tense leave ... Wyatt tells suspicious Hope and Rafe how he did it. He claims he was disguised in a cap and argues he acted as a concerned citizen. What comes next? ... As it turns out Ciara only overheard that Tripp and Claire were conversing about the planted evidence. Claire complains the cops accused Tripp. Ciara stammers it could not be possible could it...? Stefan suggests Gabi accept that her scheme failed just as he has accepted the loss of his only love Gabby ... Chad has a bad dream about alter Gabby wanting the innocent newborn ... Will and Paul finally have their furniture and Paul happily welcomes Will home ... Ciara assumes there is a reason for the cops to suspect Tripp. Claire gets mad. Ciara suggests she stop lying about her cos Claire was the one who wanted her to find Ben a job. Claire excuses herself to return to work ... Back at the station Rafe and Hope wonder what happened to Ben’s missing lawyer. He wants to know why they summoned him. They update him on Wyatt’s confession. He says thanks and wonders what will happen to Wyatt. The D.A. decided not to press charges for his mischief. Ben is embittered. Hope claims this does not mean he is off the hook for setting the fire ... Stefan has decided to devote his whole life to his unborn daughter. Gabi can relate and bitterly recalls the chaos Abigail caused for her and her own daughter. She sneers Stefan will not be able to get near Abigail’s baby and the child will be raised as a Horton ... In his dream Chad is troubled to see red dress alter Gabby, who announces she won. His Abigail is gone for good! She tries to snatch the baby from his arms. Chad snaps to stay away ... Tripp and Ciara are back home. She admits she saw Ben today ... Ben threatens to sue the Salem P.D. for harassment. Rafe gets sarcastic but Ben is free to go for now. Dangerous music plays. Hope has a bad feeling. Rafe noticed he was steamed up. Hope fears he could hurt someone else in such a state ... The table is ready and Will wants to head to the pub to pick up some food for their first supper. He kisses grateful Paul and gets going ... Stefan looks at Stefano’s portrait. Gabi wonders. He recounts his recent hopes of having a family. Instead the DiMeras denied him his heritage. This baby will mark the beginning of his own era. He decides to keep Gabi's secret for now, notes she will live to regret it if she crosses him again and orders her out. One more thing. If she hears from Chad and Abigail ... Gabi hisses he will be the first to know ... Chad wakes up, relieved Gabby trying to grab the baby was a nighmare but the baby cries for real. Abigail asks for her daughter. Chad hesitates and hands her over. The baby is no longer crying. Chad excuses himself to make some calls and mentions the hospital. If only Abigail knew what he had in mind ... At the pub Will and Sonny exchange a woeful look ... Tripp assumes Ciara was upset because Ben could not get a job at the club. She sighs she was actually caught off guard by his romantic admission ... Wyatt catches up with Claire and wants his other half of cash. Done. She is pleased he got away with it. He is pleased to go shopping with her money. He takes a few steps while placing a shopping order on his telephone and bumps into Ben, who hears who he is. Ben growls to get off the phone. Wyatt freezes. Ben rages he is the rat who set him up. Wyatt is utterly terrified. Ben touches his necktie and tells him not to mess with him. He grabs him by the tie and tells him if he was still nuts he would choke him until he turned blue. Luckily he is no longer insane. He lets him go. Wyatt runs like hell ... Ciara assures Tripp that she told Ben there would never be anything between them. Tripp is miffed. She assures him she wanted to be as honest as he is with her. Tripp looks guilty as soap ain ... Sonny stands up and approaches Will, having heard about his and Paul’s new place. Will woefully states he is bringing back their first supper. Sonny turns away. Will takes his hand, admits he still loves him and adds this is the last time he can say so. However he has been writing his real feelings in his new journal. Sonny sadly agrees that is best, to protect Paul, and suggests he head home before the food gets cold. Exit Will ... Back at the new apartment Paul starts to unpack Will’s box of belongings. The private journal is at the top ... Abigail wonders why the baby has Chad’s eyes ... Outside Chad gets a phone signal and calls Stefan. He wants to make a deal. Dangerous drums play ...
