There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Dr. Dan gets to work and cannot get Nicole and his convo out of his head – the woeful one about losing Jen. Anne interrupts and snaps a patient awaits so he has to sign on the dotted line. Dan wonders why the confidentiality agreement. The patient seems to be top secret! Dan goes in and is surprised to see none other than Paul Norita in a hospital bed. Madame Milbauer is over the moon. Dan dismisses eager Anne and glances at the new patient’s file. The baseball player tore a rotator cuff. He thinks he will be able to help him recover. Paul and his agent are counting on famous Dr. Dan to save his career cos he sure needs his fastball back! Eve dreams of JJ and sits up gasping it was NOT a dream! She falls back in her bed with a groan. JJ is at home when he answers his phone to Paige, who seeks a meeting now. He invites her over. Abigail overhears, then realizes little brother is troubled. He laments things are a mess! She sits him down but JJ cannot reveal what happened. Abi presses. He complains about Paige finding out the truth about Jack, the reaction that followed, as well as her strange text apologizing. The situation is sensitive. Abigail suspects Eve told. JJ sighs it makes no difference. He does not understand it and he cannot imagine Paige ever will either. Eve has gotten up and keeps telling her daughter how sorry she is! Paige flashes back to the jacket on the chair, the one that belongs to Dr Dan. Eve claims she was upset last night due to her dose of bad news. Paige wishes she had been there. Then she would have not had to turn to … someone. Eve stammers her one night stand was a nobody. She was vulnerable is all. That is why she made such a mistake! Paige pouts she made a mistake with JJ too so she wants to see him, to discuss where they stand. Ominous music plays as she departs. Eve panics in her tropical style robe. She decides to call him to avert a disaster. JJ cannot kiss and tell! Slick Chad approaches Dr. Kayla at her office to discuss the fair Abigail. He wants her rehired at the hospital! Matter of fact, it is already a done deal, at his request. He hands her the envelope with the letter from the boss. Abigail has been reinstated. Chad proudly points out he has already informed the board. Kayla notes he has taken EJ’s seat. Chad remains focused on Abigail coming back to the hospital. At the club, Sonny the boss tells off baristo Ben for picking a fight with Chad. The club co-owner does have a history with Abi and even stepped back to avoid conflict. Ben claims his concern is for his sister. Sonny states she is a grown woman. Ben grudgingly agrees and then finds out Chad is at the hospital as they speak meeting with Kayla. It makes him suspicious. Sonny warns him unless he can deal with Chad hanging around his sister, he does not belong here! Outside Victor enjoys his coffee and waves for Kate to join him. She sighs they are in public and she, as CEO of DiMera, is going to be spotted with a competitor. People might gossip. The Greek grins the only thing they would whisper about is her hillbilly honey. Clyde probably plays the banjo! He advises her to get her focus and promptly resign from DiMera, come back to Mad World. Kate coos she likes the power and claims she gets on well with Chad. Victor quips Chad is a cover boy piranha and warns her Stefano the sly fox should not be discounted. Diva Kate dismisses the notion … Undershirt Clyde’s alarm goes off and he groggily reaches across the bed. Jordan stands there, gun aimed at him. Is he looking for this! It was next to his bed. She makes him call her Jordan not Tammy Sue, and orders him to start talking, tell her the whole truth. Clyde gets out of bed and suggests all her decisions have been secretive to hide the truth. He sits on the bed and admits he knows it can be tough to accept one’s truth. He suggests some of her memories might be wrong, taunts she cannot trust a darn thing in her pretty little head and demands she return his gun. But Jordan does not ... JJ slowly opens the Horton front door to Paige. They are both sorrrrrryyyy. She regrets believing Bev. Rory made her see the light. She asks for a restart. She loves him. JJ holds her tight and whispers he loves her too. She wants him to keep the past away from their present and focus on having a pure and true relationship, against all odds. Her doe eyes notice something and she suddenly soap stares across the room … Meanwhile Eve is frantic, unable to even send JJ a text with her phone! She plugs it in as someone knocks on her door. Tis Abigail, who storms in and refuses to leave as asked. She is here to talk about last night! Eve is aghast. Abi exclaims it was not JJ’s fault! She knows Eve told Paige about Jack! Eve is visibly relieved, then rages she did not say anything to upset her daughter, who appears to have heard her conversation with Kayla. She kicks the girl out. Abi threatens to tell her mother and warns her not to try and use the tragic family history against the Devereaux clan. Eve now realizes she did not properly plug in her phone so there was no text sent telling JJ not to talk … Kayla warns Chad he will never get Abigail back with his power and money. Chad insists his motives were pure and he is merely trying to wrong a right, given the EJ scandal. He stands up and arrogantly exits ... Dr. Dan lets Paul know he will be meeting with a physical therapist. Paul the flirt is pleased to hear it is a female. He soon tries to flirt with chief of staff Kayla and she smiles he is a charmer. She assures him the staff are being instructed to respect his privacy. Paul is grateful and glumly adds he is a free agent so news should not spread about his injury... Kate is joined by Chad at her table outside. He wonders what Victor was up to. Kate muses he was trying to steal her away from DiMera. Chad blinks his piercing blue eyes. Inside the club, Victor asks Sonny whether the fact that he is busy overseeing the new club is the real reason he is not where he belongs with his hubby and daughter. He gives him a stern look. Sonny solemnly states Will was asked to write the screenplay of Sami and is there to support her. Victor scoffs he does not even think Sonny buys that …. Paige assumes that pretty lavender box is for her and it is indeed. JJ presents her with it and she takes out a bracelet, gushing the gift is perfect. She senses JJ still has more to his story but he denies it and pleasantly sees her out, to her next college class. .. Paige first heads home to Eve. Mama worriedly wonders what happened with her talk with JJ. They are starting over. She admits what she overheard and Eve is sorry. Paige explains she now understands why Eve has her doubts but it is not fair to judge JJ based on the sins of the father. Eve agrees. Paige admits there is tension in the air but she loves JJ with all her heart and wants to be with him. Eve does not protest. In fact, she is silent. Paige suggests they continue another time. Eve gasps in agreement. She emotionally exclaims she loves her daughter … JJ heads to Dan’s apartment and apologizes for borrowing his jacket. Dan does not mind but must ask back for his keys. It seems he overstepped. JJ hopes he did not do something. Dan admits Jen did not approve and they are really over now. JJ blames himself for the trouble he caused. Dan breathes he was the one who messed up. That is all he can say. At the pub, Kayla and Abi agree JJ and Paige are a cute couple. Ben watches them through the window and decides to go inside… Kayla smiles and announces the hospital board reversed their old decision. They want her back! Abigail is elated. So is Ben, who says so. But when Abigail asks her aunt how it all happened, the smile fades from his furious face … Chad asks if Kate is after more money. She denies it and adds she is going nowhere. He grins he is glad. They discuss her latest maneuver to dupe Stefano and she smugly states she has lured him into a false sense of security. Soon he will make his final move and she intends to destroy him! Chad nods. Undershirt Clyde stands up. He knows Tammy Sue is the scared one in the room! Jordan screams she is not afraid and threatens to do what she should have years ago! Clyde creepily claims he already apologized for the past. She would have gone to prison if he had not protected her. Trembling Jordan tightens her hold on the gun she is still pointing at him. He was NOT protecting her! Sonny wonders why Victor would suggest Will was not helping his family. It is only a six month separation and Sonny intends to visit. Victor suspects Will Horton is ambitious and ruthless! Sonny sarcastically states not to hold back, tell him what he really feels ... Kate notes after she and her partner in crime have crushed Stefano, their next adversary with be formidable. Chad knows it is … Victor Kiriakis … Victor gives Sonny a pep talk about how to make a marriage work. He sees that he and Will love each other deeply and believes that is why they will make it. He pats Sonny on his face Mediterranean style and pleasantly advises him to hang onto that … Eve finally gets her frantic call thru to JJ and demands they talk now! JJ, standing outside the door, agrees … Clyde condescendingly tells Tammy Sue to stop talking like that. Jordan suddenly screams she was only 15 years old. Clyde shouts he knows he was wrong but Jordan cries and accuses him of violating her all those years ago … THE TRAGIC END |
