As Hope kisses her groom, Bo rages inside his cell. He urges the "dumb deputy" as Steve calls him to let him have a phone call. He knows his rights. Dumb deputy walks out and so the good ol boys do the next best thing - they stage a fight ...The guests all clap at the wedding. Victor is busy texting Kayla, concerned about Caroline. Meanwhile Kayla lets Caroline know she has no intention of discharging her. She seeks out Dr. Salinas ... Bo throws the first punch to the face. Steve follows suit and they rumble right there in their cell. The deputy comes running and orders them to break it up. Steve knocks his head against the bars and Bo gets the keys. Teamwork, baby. The duo unlock the cell door and let themselves out. Bo drops the keys on the unconscious deputy. Steve complains he hit too hard. Bo laughs it was a love tap. They make their great escape to stop the wedding ... Roman has returned to the wedding party and assures Aiden and Hope that Caroline was simply stressed. John has a strange feeling. Marlena too and her strange feeling is about Lani, who looks ever so familiar ... Hope and Aiden have their first family hug with Ciara and Chase. Aiden's mind wanders and he wonders what his blushing bride will look like when he has strangled her ... Shawn jokingly welcomes his mother's new husband to the craziness. Aiden quips it is going to get even crazier now . If only they knew ... Julie is happy as a Horton and gushes she got a text from Aunt Marie, who was reminding her that approximately 50 years ago she and Alice planned her wedding. How Horton time flies! Julie gathers them round for a photograph and makes Maggie join, teasing her about the complicated name she took ... Abe takes Lani aside to talk to her. He deduces he is her long last dad but why did her mother never tell him she was with child when she left Salem? The lady cop cries her mother thought it was best as she was already with another man at the time. Abe would love to get to know his new daughter. She weeps he was her reason for coming to Salem. Abe is moved and explains his teen son Theo is autistic. That means they find the best way to tell him he has a sister before anyone else is informed. Lani agrees through her tears ... Joey is outside, as is Theo, the baseball stats whiz. A couple of fellow teens offer them some rum. Joey turns it down and opts for a soda instead. Theo wonders why. Joey reasons his mom would get majorly mad if she smelled rum on his breath. All of a sudden he gasps he feels unwell and faints. Theo panics, presuming he will be blamed ... Rafe lets Hope know what a beautiful bride she is and excuses himself. Julie drags everyone out to the park to continue the party, excited about the bicentennial fireworks. Kate makes a wisecrack about Rafe never staying for fireworks. Aiden quietly and quickly escorts Hope back to her house for some alone time now that they are man and wife ... As the guests make merry outside, Victor snarls Brady had better not get any ideas about getting married. Nearby Nicole giggles this time Bo did not show up on his bike to whisk the bride away. Eric explains it was uneventful. Nicole gushes she wants the same for her and Dan's wedding. Eric grimaces at the lovebirds ... Ciara has insisted on having yogurt for dessert. She is standing in the square with Chase, waiting for Doug and Julie to get said yogurt. Ciara spies Rafe and insists her mom's trusted friend and police partner stick around for the fireworks. Rafe now cannot refuse and heads over to the park. Outside a store window, Ciara is drawn to a costly coat that reminds her of the one her absentee father had. She offers to steal it for Chase. He tries to talk her out of it and reasons she is rich enough to buy it. But Ciara scoffs her mom never gives her enough money cos she considers her spoiled. She shows him the earrings she is wearing from Sami, who gave them to her years ago and yet this is the first time mother Hope has allowed her to wear them. She proceeds to pick the lock despite his protests and gushes she is going to steal the coat for him. All of a sudden Julie appears! She makes the young girl stop, sends Doug and Chase for a walk, so that she can have a word with Ciara. She tells the troubled teen she reminds her of herself at that age, stealing for attention. Mickey and Tom had to bail her out of jail over the mink stole she stole! Ciara breaks down about the coat making her remember Bo, the fact that she misses him. Julie is sympathetic ... At the Brady house, Aiden attempts to send Hope upstairs before him but the bride insists they make love upstairs now. And so the marriage is slowly consummated. Aiden seems to want to savor every moment since it is to be their last time together ... Jen excitedly shows Maggie and Adrienne a photo album of Salem's super couples. She kisses her finger and places it on Jack's wedding photo ... Kayla comes into her mother's hospital room with Dr. Salinas. She has asked him to run some tests regarding her so-called visions ... Brady and Theresa get cutely close as they admire Tate's pictures. Nearby Nicole starts to feel sad and admits to Dan she will always mourn the loss of her own babies ... Kayla is horrified when Lani arrives with a gurney, where her son Joe lies unconscious. She orders tests run. Salinas heads back to Caroline and will only say that Kayla is currently with a patient. The doctor was asked to give her medication that will help her sleep. Caroline plays along and waits until he has left her room. Then she throws off the covers and takes off, fully dressed ... Outside at the party, Brady is glad to see John did not leave Salem after all. Theresa wishes him luck with finding out his family history, for Tate's sake. John and Marlena are all smiles as they remember the most important moment in their history, when they were reunited again after many years. John and Marlena of back then are shown emotionally falling into each others' arms. Now they kiss in the present after another I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. Brady and Theresa are in awe ... Carol creeps back to the Martin mansion and finds it empty. She is depressed about getting there too late and sits down. All of a sudden Steve and Bo burst in. Bo smiles a beautiful smile for his MA ...Julie woefully remembers some of Alice's words and the matriarch is shown years past lamenting to Tom about one day when the kids no longer need them. Doug assures his Julie they still need them and praises her for keeping their spirit alive ... At the park Gabi is glad to see Rafe, who agreed to the fireworks after all. Victor announces according to an ancient Greek tradition, in order to ensure another 100 years of prosperity, everyone must KISS. Maggie cannot help but wonder whether he made that up. Nevertheless when the fireworks snap crackle and pop above something happens. The usual couples kiss in the romantic shadow of the fireworks and show perfectly choreographed soap smooches, from John and Marlena to Doug and Julie, Victor and Maggie ... but wait! That's not all! JJ gives Gabi a kiss on her cheek, Brady romantically kisses Theresa for a long one, and Eric the depressed drinker grabs Jen for a kiss on the lips perhaps because the sight of Nicole locking lips with Dan was too much to bear ... After their emotional reunion with her son, Caroline sadly states she was unable to stop the marriage. Hope married that other man! Bo is enraged and clenches his teeth, thundering NO! Meanwhile back at the house. Aiden and Hope hear the fireworks. He slips out of bed to get her a surprise as she excitedly waits, and goes downstairs. He takes out his bag in the dark, removing his killer disguise and the telltale necktie with which he is supposed to strangle his bride. The DiMera devil is making him do it ... THE END!
