These are my words. There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Dedicated Detective Rafe assumes his visitor at the station is sister Gabi with baby Ari, his two favorite gorgeous girls. He grimaces when Ed enters instead wishing his son a Happy Thanksgiving ... At the town house, John romantically takes his favorite blonde in his arms and gives her a Thanksgiving kiss on the cheek. She sighs to say nothing to their guests about Sami. Paul and Brady arrive. The hosts wonder where Theresa is with Tate. Brady admits he left them at the mansion with Victor and appears to regret it when he sees their surprise at his actions ... At the Kiriakis mansion. Victor stares out the window remembering Bo building Ciara a castle and mutters to Maggie he is in no mood to give thanks for anything today. Maggie graciously greets the guests ... At the pub Caroline cleans glasses that are already clean in an attempt to keep busy. A long table has been set and the clan awaits. Shawn convinces the matriarch to join them. So far Kayla, Roman, Doug, Julie, Eric, Joey, Jen, JJ, and Shawn are present. Roman and Kayla embrace their mother. Roman asks where Steve is. Kayla sighs he had a rough night ... Steve is lying on a made bed when he wakes up to his buzzing phone. Dude has a headache and a hangover. His mystery texter has sent him many messages about having a rough time. He calls and leaves the texter a message raging show your face you freak ... At the house Hope is downstairs waiting for daughter Ciara. She looks in the mirror, only to see the reflection of Bo's ghost. He teases to give him something to be thankful for. Hope assures him she will try and gets teary about giving up on him. Ciara comes downstairs and declares something seems different. Hope asks her to wait in the car and then calls Steve, to remind he who is hungover that she is coming over to continue the conversation they commenced last night ... Rafe is rude to Eduardo and snaps not to call him son. Gabi arrives with Arianna and informs Ed they are headed to the square to serve a meal to the homeless. Eduardo wants to join in helping the cause. Gabi accepts. Rafe scowls ... Justin escorts elegant Eve into the Kiriakis house for the family Thanksgiving. Victor rants and rages about him treating this like a BYOH event cos Eve used to be a hooker! Voices are raised. The guests already present - Nicole, Dan and his old classmate Fynn - are able to hear every word. Eve decides to leave. Justin goes with her and growls at uncle for ruining everyone's Thanksgiving. Maggie the hostess with the mostest tries to hold the gathering together ... Shawn greets Ciara and Chase at the pub and asks after his mom. Ciara admits she dropped them off to go somewhere. Shawn looks worried ... Steve sobers up with water. Hope arrives acting all business like. She is a woman on a mission to go after the bad guys who locked up Bo, making his condition critical enough to kill him. Steve suspects she is going vigilante but Hope talks JUSTICE ... At the town house Marlena informs the guests the turkey might need more time to ...cool ... Paul asks John about his investigation. John appears to have given up now that he is done with the ISA but Paul pleasantly tells him he now has a hot lead for him. His ballplayer friend who attended the academy also had a father who used to go to Winterthorne back in the day. In fact, said father has just moved to Salem. His name is Eduardo Hernandez, man of many wives and abandoned families. John is intrigued especially when he hears the elusive Eduardo also happens to be the biological father of Rafe. He intends to have a talk with Rafe ... Marlena can see Brady is stressed. He sighs he was unable to reach Theresa on his phone and she is with Tate ... Eduardo helps serve the homeless at the square alongside Gabi and irate Rafe, who refuses to talk to him. Gabi, however, is interested to hear he spent years in Central America ... Steve suspects the timing is off. He suggests they wait until he handles a situation with his family and Hope spends time with her kids, who need healing. But Hope will not back down. She is consumed with her cause ... Justin faithfully follows Eve back to her apartment, content with the deli sandwiches and a chance to get close to her. Theresa had apparently stopped by with Tate and left a note. Eve coos he is the best thing to happen to her in Salem and they long kiss ... After the food, Brady teases the turkey was great and must excuse himself. John chuckles about the turkey ... Rafe blows off Eduardo and walks away with a frown when he tries to talk as family. Gabi, on the other hand, listens as her father vows to do what it takes to get his family back. He thanks her for giving him a chance and admires sleeping Ari, feeling thankful... Hope hesitates outside the pub, not wanting to face reality. Steve tells her to go inside for Bo so she sadly steps in with him ... Kayla and Ciara hug unhappy Hope, whose eyes are haunted. Hope spies Chase sadly sitting alone and asks her daughter to go to him. Shawn now hugs his mother and tells her Caroline is trying. She wonders about him. He sighs one step at a time ... All of a sudden Belle and teen angel Claire arrive. Belle hugs Shawn, who is now not smiling ... Claire meets cousin Joey and greets Uncle Eric. The family is sad but glad to see Belle and Claire ...Eve and Justin's loooong kiss is interrupted by someone knocking at the door. Eve is less than thrilled to find Ed, who has an announcement to make. Justin admits he must deal with a matter so they will catch up later. Alone with Eve, Ed explains his intent to start a music program in Paige's name at the community center for low income kids. He asks her to head it up. Eve snaps too little too late, and suspects he is out to clear his conscience. He asks her to at least consider and saunters out ... Brady arrives at the Kiriakis mansion and asks after Theresa. Victor growls he told her their table was full. His guests stare stunned. Victor stops and then tells them he is sorry he was such an ass spoiling Thanksgiving. He promises to honor Bo and the family ... Hope gets a sympathetic hug from both Belle and Claire. Caroline now makes a toast. The matriarch declares the death of Bo has left a hole in their lives, an empty place at the table, but so many gifts of love and that love lives on. Meanwhile John, Paul, and Marlena make a toast to Bo. John notes he will never really leave them. Paul poignantly adds and Will too. Marlena looks ready to cry ... Victor makes a toast to Bo, for being one of a kind and all that a father could ever want in a son ... Caroline toasts to Bo, until they meet again. Glasses are raised in salute and the guests take their seats. Hope stares sadly at the empty place, her heart heavy ... Gabi would like a candid word with Rafe at the square. Just then Justin happens by, noting he has a break on a case. Rafe quietly updates him on Chad's theory that Ben could be the necktie killer. Justin has high regard for his instincts and agrees he should investigate Ben of bad temper fame ... Ciara has introduced confused Claire to Chase and hastily explains he is her stepbrother ... Roman teases Caroline the talented toastmaster of the clan ... Kayla approaches Hope and advises her to take a trip somewhere with Ciara, give herself a chance to heal. Hope will have none of it. She marches up to Steve and accuses him of telling Kayla about her mission ... Justin rejoins Eve at her apartment and they start making out on the couch ... Rafe is happy as a clam to hold beautiful Ari. Gabi asks him to respect her wish to give their father another chance. She is somewhat sympathetic with his plight, having changed herself. Rafe agrees to let his second chance sister do just that but refuses to give Ed any chances. He is a guy who goes by his gut ... Ed emerges at the square and soap stares at Gabi, now aware the girl is on his side ... Victor stares out the window missing the late Bo. Maggie lets him know what a blessing it was he got to know Bo. The Greek grumbles their time was too damn short. Maggie stands by his side ... Much to Marlena's surprise, John is sitting on the sofa with his tablet, looking for anything he can find on Eduardo. His family investigation continues. They both stand up when Belle surprises her parents with an unexpected visit. Marlena hugs her daughter and asks about Shawn. Belle drops a bombshell. It is OVER. She and Shawn are getting a DIVORCE. Stunned silence fills the air ... Back at the pub, Hope says Steve is not going to stop her. He drawls to do what she has to do. Hope gushes she will and smiles back at Bo's ghost, which she and she alone sees standing at the door in black ... THE END! |
