Towel clad Will opens his door to Paul, who missed him. He enters and they kiss. Now no towel! Meanwhile Leo the liar reads a text from Viv to meet as Sonny hands him more files. They flirt. Leo excuses himself to the office. Sonny picks up his phone he almost forgot and sees something ... Vivian complains to Kate she is too upset to talk having visited Stefan her son, who is not in good shape. Kate stops her ... At the hospital thanks to the lawyer Viv got Hope has to uncuff Stefan. She asks who he is really protecting ... Meanwhile Abigail agrees Andre’s death was a shock but how could she be so fragile? Chad grows silent and she wonders what he is not saying. Chad decides it is enough for the day. Abigail presses. She has been in the dark far too long! Marlena arrives and greets the real Abigail with enthusiasm. She offers to work with her on the confusion when the girl complains. They will all be here for her. Chad caresses her shoulders and tries to keep it together ... Stefan wants to know more about what Marlena said. Hope warns him away from Abigail and Chad and NOT to try and leave Salem. She goes and he gushes he would never leave without Gabby ... Marlena and Chad head out for a word as Abigail remains in the room. Marlena has high praise for Chad, but he wonders what to tell his wife and how. The blonde in the pink suit smiles she has an idea ... Viv scoffs at Kate’s tough talk. Kate reminds her of all her transgressions toward her including the conspiracy with Andre. She leers she will let the board know. Viv hisses it is her word against hers. Kate now drops the name Leo Stark ... Sonny is in awe of Leo’s screensaver which is one of his paintings. He knows he will get far. Leo invites him to come to his place to see his ... work. Sonny would love to but ... how about lunch later? A boss can buy his assistant lunch! Leo smiles see you later ... Will and Paul pillow talk about the dramatic rescue of the three ladies in DiMera lockup. Paul asks how it went with Clyde and intel on the miracle drug. Will admits he got something ... At the station Marlena suggests to Hope that Abigail should attempt to regain her memories step by step. She feels Chad is their best bet too. However Hope worries about Stefan ... At the pretty park Chads stands Abigail where she met Gabi that fateful night. Abigail recalls their conversation, how she offered to speak to Andre but then Gabi gasped she wanted to kill him and was gone. He tries to make her remember more by looking around. She remembers a moment in time when she was another alter and admits to Chad she then ventured to Andre. And so it begins ... Will enlightens Paul on Clyde claiming Rolf wrote everything in his diary which he wants to track down. Paul talks lunch first. Will steals a kiss ... Viv acts innocent and ignorant of a Leo Stark so Kate enlightens her. Viv lies he refused to help her but Kate knows better. She witnessed her handing him money at the mansion! Viv muses he is her masseuse. Leo now walks in and addresses Viv as boss. I GOT YOUR TEXT ... Hope hates releasing Stefan. Marlena points out herself, Viv and Kate would be dead if the D.A. had not given him immunity. Stefan suddenly appears and gasps where is Gabby like a man obsessed ... Abigail remembers hearing Andre think aloud about the mess he was in and the conspiracy. He wanted the power returned to whom it rightfully belonged! Abigail now returns to her reality with Chad and announces Andre betrayed them. Chad looks relieved she is remembering ... As they lunch at the square Will shares with Paul that he wanted to warn Sonny about Leo but decided to leave it to him. Paul shares what Leo said. He does have his doubts and notes Kate still wants him on the case. Viv is also aware of the investigation. He too feels he should keep a close eye on him. Sonny has just arrived, overheard and rages at Paul to back the hell off ... Kate suspects Leo was sucked into one of Viv’s illegal schemes. She starts to call the cops, but Viv stops her and offers to spill. Leo wants to leave. Kate orders him to stay in case Viv does not spill enough ... Hope warns Stefan to stay away from Abigail but he wants to help her. Marlena warns him she does not need his brand of help. Besides she has Chad. Stefan asks how much Abigail knows. Marlena realizes how obsessed he is when he wonders whether Gabby is gone for good ... Abigail tells Chad she overheard Andre talking to the late Tony. That was the second he first spoke of his sabotage. Chad asks what happened after that. She flashes back to storming in and confronting him. The devil emerged and he did not deny it. He was the puppet master! Back to reality. Abigail gasps how could he? Chad starts to get concerned about her state of mind ... Viv sighs and admits Victor turned down her attempt to join forces. They she decided to retaliate by taking Titan down. Kate realizes Sonny was her first target. Viv admits she got Leo to get Sonny in the sack. Kate does the boss employee math and the sexual harassment suit that Viv wanted Leo to file against Sonny as well as Titan. Leo admits Sonny stopped seeing him when he was hired as his assistant ... Marlena suggests smitten Stefan let it go as Gabby will never be back. He holds the evidence bag with her dark wig and gets more determined ... Back to the past. Andre told Abigail his tale of woe of being wronged of his rightful place in the family when he was judged mentally unfit. Abigail was aghast he went against his brother but Andre reminded her he was the eldest who followed all of fatha’s wishes and whims, whereas Chad went against him. He wept and showed her the phoenix ring he wore with honor. Abigail pointed out he should not have plotted against him but Andre believed even the board would go against any powerful position for him. He accused Chad of idealism that never worked well for DiMera. Then Viv reached out and made a deal. Inside information to make Stefan CEO, after which time they would run the company side by side. Perhaps his alliance with Viv was unholy but he put the best interest of the company first. Abigail fumes she trusted him but she was wrong. Then she cried she was going to go tell Chad and he would be done at DiMera! Andre grabbed her and leered he could not allow it ... Sonny blasts Paul for snooping. Paul points out he was hired to. Sonny lists the reasons Leo is so great, including when he helped him with Ari. He is no criminal! Will explains Paul is just doing his job. Sonny snaps Leo would not go near a lady like Vivian Alamain ... Kate and Vivian are alone again. Kate will not let her take Titan down! Viv talks letting Victor’s stock sink and offers to give her a cut of the blood money ... Concerned Commissioner Hope informs Marlena the cop car she has tailing Chad and Abigail let her know they are now at the DiMera offices. They expect something soon ... Andre asked Abigail for a chance to fix things. Abigail accused him of lies all lies. He exclaimed he would fix things and tried to swear her to secrecy. No luck. Then he started to strangle her so she grabbed the urn and smashed it on his head. He fell and she freaked out. Back to the now. Abigail cries out NO as the horror of what she did sinks in. Chad is at her side for support ... Paul stands and is truly sorry if he upset Sonny. Leo arrives and they leave to grab a bite. Paul hopes for the best for Sonny and so does Will. He does not want him to be hurt again ... Leo walks to the park with Sonny and suddenly plants a kiss on him. Paul kisses him right back ... Viv talks girl power. Kate admits it sounds appealing. Viv extends a hand. Kate eyes her like a panther ... Stefan lurks long enough to overhear Hope reveal that Abigail is with Chad trying to remember. He takes off like a bat out of hell ... Chad places his strong arms around Abigail as the memory of that fateful night returns. She remembers how she tried to revive her beloved Andre, how he whispered I love you and then died. She screamed like wounded animal. Back to the now. The fragile girl cries she killed Andre and collapses in Chad’s arms. Meanwhile more trouble is on its way ... STAY TUNED! |
