When JJ enters Horton house with his forever girl, he gasps at the fallen plant and picks it up. Cole had climbed the stairs before and now stands in his room with his stash. The young lovers go upstairs so Cole dives under the bed with his drugs ...Nicole looks at Zan's lips and gasps she is not ready. Before she can elaborate, he gets a call from Uncle Victor, who growls to get to his mansion right now! Zan ends the call and apologizes for the interruption. Nicole remembers she really came there to do research and smiles sweetly, suggesting she stay and wait for him. Zan cannot say when he will be back. It could be a while. She coos she can get comfy for him. Zan the man muses sounds tempting but tells her he will call her later. He sees her to the door ... Man in black John suavely steps into the Kiriakis mansion. He got a message to meet Brady and Marlena here ... Victor is in fine form when Marlena appears. He wants to get the party started to celebrate the fact that she killed Kristen! Marlena is still shell shocked from the ordeal. John wonders what???? ... Chez Dan the medicine man and Maggie are relieved their Mel is back safe and sound. They find out that five returned from the trip only four took. Dan wants to know who the fifth person was ... Theresa makes her grand entrance at the hospital, happily holding her firstborn, proud papa Brady by her side. She announces that this is her son! Eve is elated. Jen stares suspiciously at the sisters ... Mel updates shocked Maggie and Dan on the Kristen embryo theft ...Theresa and Brady leave the baby to be checked out by a doctor after explaining their son's condition. Brady gives him the baby's files from Italy. The parents are asked to wait outside while the infant is examined by the American doctor. Brady cannot stop smiling at him. Neither can Theresa ... As Brady sits nearby with Jen, Theresa tells her sister what Kristen did. Eve is angry and aghast ... Brady bears news for Jen about her former bff. Kristen is DEAD ... Eve reminds Theresa her life is going to change with a baby. Theresa slyly sneaks a look in Brady's direction. She coos she is counting on it ... Eric meets late Serena at the square. She is all about the Hawaiian shirt she bought him. He is all about the text he is waiting for from his mother who is in Italy ... Marlena laments to John there was an accident. Victor cackles he can pour the champagne now for the beech who betrayed Brady has been sent straight to HELL. He finally sees no one wants to celebrate and frowns he will take his champagne in the adjoining room ... Marlena starts to explain. John can see she is stressed and places his strong hands on her shoulders, asking if she is alright. His voice is like a gentle breeze after a dark storm, Marlena murmurs they struggled but assures him she is alright. John's eyes are filled with bewilderment. What was she doing in Italy of all places? She sighs she went there to see him ... When Mel informs Maggie and Dan that Victor got Kristen's castle address for Brady, the redhead pauses. Dan wants to head to the hospital. Mel has her reservations about going. Papa Dan points out nothing will change Brady's love for her ... Brady and Jen clasp hands as they console one another. She was the former bff who saw traces of goodness in Kristen, while he was the last lover standing who had once seen that same goodness. A part of him loved her too deeply to hate her ... Eve advises Theresa to tell her parents. Theresa snaps she is not going to be lectured and judged just yet. Eve understands but adds Kim would care about her baby so don't wait too long. One must do everything for a child and keep them safe from harm ... Brady sighs about Kristen's tragic demise ... JJ and Paige start making out on the bed until JJ murmurs his mom could be home any minute. Then they go back downstairs. Cole emerges like a snake and spies JJ's bag. He stuffs the drugs inside and starts to sneak down, quiet as a mouse in a Horton house ... Dan et al are at the hospital. Dr. Dan assures the gang he is going to check on Christopher. Theresa tells everyone the name will be changed. Brady is happy as heck to see Mel and hugs her warmly ...Zander stands by his Greek Uncle in the garden. Victor is all business as he updates him on Brady's new baby boy, the fact that he needs security for the family gathering lest the DiMera clan make a move. Zan's face falls when he finds out he is not invited to the family gathering. Victor only wants a crack shot with a good pair of eyes who can blend in and pretend to be present for the party. Someone who is a no one! Zander agrees to do as asked, which is security. After Victor the great and powerful steps away, he hisses but he IS family ... At the square Eric mutters about Marlena. Nicole stops and shares breaking news from her boss. It is about Brady and Italy. Eric knows Theresa was there. Nicole notes that would be a bad thing ... Dan returns and assures everyone the baby is fine. However,he must remain for observation. Theresa is ready to be the bone marrow donor. Theresa now wants to make an announcement pertaining to Melanie hiding the existence of their baby from Theresa and Brady! Brady explains Mel would have told them if ... Theresa suddenly smiles and sweetly states she knows she found their baby for Brady only but she will be thankful forever. She gives her a hearty hug ... Eric thanks Nicole for her news and leaves to find his mother. Nicole confronts Serena for trying to make Eric move away, even when his mother needs him ...John and Marlena are seated together on the sofa. She finishes her story, except for one important part he should hear from Brady. Tis good news, she smiles, and he asks where his son is now ... Theresa and Eve go in to see the baby. Eve asks Jen to call Paige and tell her to call ... Brady gets Mel into an empty room and kisses her passionately. He thanks her for finding his son and gushes he loves her ... Romeo JJ and Juliet Paige cuddle on the couch at Horton house. They vow no one will ever keep them apart as Cole creeps out unseen ... Serena and Nicole get snarky. Serena waltzes off and Nicole is even more determined to expose her as the beech she knows her to be ...Brady texts John. Marlena, who has just arranged to meet Eric and Serena, smiles he should go. She asks how it went with Paul. John murmurs another time and adds 'Hey Doc!' He is happy she is OK. They will ... talk ... He gets choked up and she gazes after him as he goes ...Brady is back in his son's room. Mel kisses him adieu and Dan and Maggie also go. Brady informs Theresa that his father is on his way. Theresa agrees he should tell him first and accepts Eve's invitation to lunch. The sisters smugly step out. Brady holds his baby boy in his arms and gazes in wonder ... Over lunch, Eve teases Theresa about being too sweet about Mel. Theresa tells her she hates her guts still but is keeping her enemies close ... Eric and Serena are at the club with Marlena. Eric is sorry about what his mother endured. Kristen cannot hurt anyone now ... Serena gets a strange look in her eye and declares death is the only way to stop certain people ...Victor comes into the baby's private room, much moved by the grandson, grumbling about the unsavory mother. He is grateful the baby looks like Brady and adds his late mother Isabella would be proud. Brady is touched ... Nicole is leaving Brady a note at the Kiriakis mansion, to tell him she will NOT be covering his story, no worries. Dan is perplexed and pleased to run into her and suggests a coffee and a chat. Nicole notices Zander standing outside the door to the grounds and growls NO! He tries to reason with her but she rages not to touch her and takes off. Nicole walks away torn between her need to expose Serena and her regret over hurting Dan ... At Horton house, Jen finds out young lovers JJ and Paige are moving to California for college. They plan to live together too and vow no one will ever come between them ... Cole is outside when he makes what he assumes is an anonymous call to the Salem PD tip line. He declares he witnessed JJ Devereaux dealing drugs at the park ... Mel sadly states to Maggie that Theresa has not changed. Of that she is certain ... At the hospital Brady proudly introduces John to his SON ...Jen is surprised but will support JJ and Paige. She informs Paige her mom wanted her to call. Paige decides to go in person and they see her to the front door. All of a sudden Roman knocks, there on official police business. He solemnly states he needs a word alone with JJ. The son of Jack gulps as the womenfolk watch with worry ... THE END! |
