Chad gets out and she is sorry about what happened. So is sad Chad who thinks Stefan brainwashed his wife. Kate, however, has the real story ... In doc’s office the blonde is busy with files. John flirts to let him take her home to take caaaare of her. She loves the sound of that but she must get Abigail to come back to her loved ones. John tenderly touches her face ... Maggie cries at sleeping Brady’s hospital bedside. Lucas arrives outside the room and wants a word with worried Eve. It concerns Chloe. Meanwhile in Mexico City Chloe wakes up on a bed, whispering for Lucas ... Kate quietly suggests she and Chad join Hope in the interrogation room. He walks in and finds a bag of evidence. The dark wig. Bad memories. Kate comes in behind him. Chad grumbles Stefan the s.o.b slept with his wife. Kate is sympathetic. He accuses Stefan of everything that happened these past few months. Kate proceeds to enlighten him on Abigail’s multiple personalities. He cannot believe what he is hearing ... John wonders whether Stefan did the usual DiMera brainwash. Marlena is sorry to say he did not. John is mad Abigail attempted to kill his wife. Laura appears with a cop guard and coldly states that was actually her doing ... Brady opens his eyes. Maggie is relieved and explains he had been drinking after a lover's quarrel with Eve. His memories are fuzzy, few and frustrating ... Lucas is relieved to hear Brady is stable. Eve quips once a drunk always a drunk. Lucas disagrees and declares he was with him that night and he did not hit the bottle. He now complains about his farewell letter from Chloe ... Chloe hears a noise. She lifts a bowl to hit the intruder. Miguel! He has a gun on her and tells her to cooperate. She hisses he drugged her. He admits she was sedated on the plane and praises her for her fire ... Chad is in desperate denial. Kate tells him Abigail had alters. Chad mutters multiple personalities. Kate lists the ones they know of – Gabby and Laura the gatekeeper who is in charge ... Laura politely intros herself to John, who drawls she just admitted to attempted murder. She notes she knows about Gabby getting immunity which means all the alters do and wonders why she even has to be here. Dr. Marlena informs her Commissioner Brady decided the treatment should proceed in her office. John worries so she assures him there will be a cop outside. On his way out he warns Abigail not to harm the woman he loves ... Laura smiles so here they are and surveys Marlena, who announces her goal is to get Abigail to come out ... Lucas takes out his letter from Chloe, feeling confused. Eve suggests she might have wanted to avoid getting hurt. He wishes she would elaborate and now hears she saw Miguel at the club last night. He had no idea ... Miguel is pleased that Chloe lied well with her mother on the phone. He points out her offer here will profit Parker and refers to Lucas as a loser. Chloe gets upset ... Brady updates Maggie on Ciara accusing Claire of rigging the contest with an accomplice but it was not him! Naturally Maggie believes him. Alas Eve did not. He denies having a drink last night ... Chad still blames Stefan. Kate explains Marlena suspects Andre’s death was what drove Abigail over the edge ... Laura the prim protector refuses to upset Abigail by bringing her out. Marlena refers to her claim that Abigail fragmented after she did something to someone that gave her great distress. Did she kill Andre?! Meanwhile Chad assumes Kate means Abigail lost her mind after Andre died and it was due to grief. Kate cries maybe she killed Andre ... Meanwhile Marlena informs Laura that Vivian revealed the real killer of Andre was Abigail, as alter Gabby stated. Laura gets sarcastic. Marlena goes on to accuse the alter doctor of lying in court that Gabi confessed to her in the loo. Laura smirks ... Maggie wants to call Victor with the good news that Brady is fine. Brady takes her hand and hopes she believes him that he did not hit the booze. She does not doubt him and hopes Eve will also believe him. Then she walks out and he fights back the tears ... Chloe blasts Miguel for drugging what Brady drank. He assures her he was not harmed and criticizes Eve for not believing in him. Miguel assures her her sacrifice shall be worth the reward. Chloe’s eyes widen. She believes Lucas will find her ... Lucas senses something is off and announces he is going to Mexico himself to get Chloe ... Miguel puts away his gun and informs her his employer is enchanted by her. He talks operatic deaths and warns Lucas might be in danger ... Eve thinks Lucas is talking like a caveman. He storms off. Maggie now updates Eve on Brady waking up. He swore he did not drink of fix the contest. Eve, on the other hand, is bitter and cannot take another chance. Maggie knows she still cares cos she is here ... Chad cannot accept that Abigail killed Andre and thunders Vivian was trying to protect Stefan when she said so. Kate emotionally replies it would explain why the girl lost it as she loved Andre dearly. There were no alters before Andre was killed. Chad reasons the security footage showed an alter already. Kate hopes they will have more answers about Abigail from Marlena, who is still in her office playing a game of wits with Dr. Laura. She warns her that Abigail must know the truth to survive so Laura is not helping her as she claims. Laura warns she will go far far away from this place in 24 hours when the cops have to release her. Then she will make sure no one ever finds Abigail. Marlena tells her Abigail needs treatment. She suggests they work together to integrate all the personalities for a peaceful existence. Besides Abigail would not survive being separated from her son and Chad. Laura decides they are done and bids her a firm goodbye... Chad hangs his head in sorrow since he did not see what was happening to his wife in time to save her. Kate tries to make him feel better and urges him to fight for the woman he loves. He gets it ... Eve is about to leave the hospital when John stops her and lets her know Brady is asking to see her. Papa John knows his son loves her and suggests he deserves another chance. Eve considers ... Lucas runs into the club calling out for Chloe. She is not there. He reads her casual letter about leaving to follow her dream and letting him go. Then he glances at the bottles above the bar ... Miguel refers to Lucas as the past. His boss wants Chloe on stage with himself as the only audience member. He adds he is on his way as they speak. Chloe’s eyes fill with dread ... Eve silently enters Brady’s room. Their eyes lock ... Lucas toys with a drink at the club. Maggie talks him out of it. He decides the letter was a lie ... Chloe has no way out of her room. The window has bars on it. She starts to search the drawers as her door opens and then gasps “Oh my God!” when she sees who is standing there ... John rejoins Marlena, who admits she could not reach Abigail. But all is not lost ... Kate updates Chad on Marlena’s meeting with Laura. Only he can bring Abigail out and he is their last hope. Laura is led in and their blue eyes lock ... STAY TUNED! |
