Paul opens his eyes and John grins heeeeey ya made it kid ... Elsewhere JJ is in black sweats, heaving sneaked in to see pretty patient Gabi. He came to kiss her ... At the Kiriakis mansion, Kate suspects Deimos is playing games. Deimos announces yes he wants to marry Kate. She says NO games, she means it and slyly notes he must know spouses cannot be forced to testify against each other. She suggests they fly to Vegas on the Titan jet tonight. Justin is announced and Deimos asks the butler to let him in ... Nicole meets Dario in secret at the park and complains about Kate's ploy. Nicole fears Victor will not get his fortune back and Deimos will get away with what he did to Maggie if he marries Kate. ...Paul the patient makes jokes about John needing him to coach. John sighs he is sorry, for it is his fault this happened. He suspects Ling used the virus as backup if his brainwashing did not work. With any luck it was the last of Ling's tricks ...Adrianna interrupts JJ and Gabi's smoochfest and blasts Gabi for kissing like that with the baby in the room ... Dario drawls to step up the game. Nicole says so she should seduce Deimos tonight? She gasps she is not sure she can go through with that. Dario solemnly states she needs to act fast ...Kate crunches a cracker and tells Justin make it quick. Justin wants to talk to Deimos in private. She talks of her trip with Deimos and angrily brushes by Justin. Justin admits he did not expect him to take a trip now. Deimos notes he now does whatever he wants when he wants. He knows certain people want something from him too ... John is relieved Ling did not succeed. Paul pauses ... Deimos closes the doors for privacy and D.A. Justin wonders why he summoned him. Deimos officially accepts his offer but can he trust him? He wants Justin to cover any problems he or his employees might encounter legally and implies he will test him ... Gabi reasons she is a grown woman. Adrianna explains she came to tell her she might be hired as a nurse and says they both look well, then admires the baby. Gabi gushes JJ made them better by insisting she get his dose first... Marlena thinks John and also Paul need to regain their strength. John is proud and pumped and wants to be Paul's trainer. Paul acts distant and tells his dad he would rather recover on his own. Marlena looks like ohhhhhhhhh? ... At the square Justin calls Victor to update him on Deimos accepting the deal. Kate was with him at the mansion ...Kate wants to know if Deimos made deal with the D.A. He makes light of the boring legal stuff. She asks if he is having legal trouble. He tells her to let it be. Kate coos Deimos needs a lady Macbeth and she can see in his eyes he is scared of her ... JJ impresses mommy and Gabi wants her to accept their coupledom. She invites him to another family meal. But will he remain? ... Deimos talks rules. Kate hates rules. He talks pre-nup. She hates that even more and snaps what about her. He tells her to get one to protect herself too. Deimos feels their mistrust of one another makes it all the more exciting. He pours more champagne and they toast to them and kiss. Kate now goes out in the rain and temporarily leaves. Nicole approaches the door and calls Dario for a favor to keep Kate away. She describes her little red sports car and suggests he tail her. She stands in the rain until she is drenched and makes for the door ... John solemnly excuses himself to ask the doctor when Paul can be released. Once they are alone, Marlena lectures Paul for hurting papa John's feelings. Paul anxiously admits he wants to protect John from HIM. He fears Ling may have succeeded in manipulating his mind to make something hurt his father or even worse later. Marlena tries to put his mind at ease and urges him to confide in John. Besides if he stayed locked in a room instead Ling would have won ... JJ and Adrianna discuss the last time he came to dinner. He admits the Horton dinners are less dramatic but looks forward to another exciting evening. Adrianna decides to leave the love birds alone, hugs Gabi, and assures her she only wants her healthy and happy ... Deimos was not expecting to find femme fatale Nicole all wet at his door. She fibs she got a flat tire down the road and her phone is dead. Deimos graciously invites her inside. He suggests she shower upstairs and adds the maid will dry her clothes. She breathes but what to wear in the meantime? He says the maid will bring you a robe. He watches her go upstairs ever so slowly and seductively ... Kate is at the square. Dario bumps her and purposely spills coffee on her outfit. She realizes he is Rafe's brother. He now has her attention. She heard he was great at Titan Argentina, but why did he leave? He offers to tell her over a new coffee. Kate cannot resist. Ed suspiciously soap stares ... John comes back in his hospital gown, annoyed he has to stay for another 24 hours. Paul grins after they can hit the gym as they have much to talk about. Paul smiles at Marlena and John. John holds Marlena's shoulders, his eyes shining with love ... Dario the corporate rebel notes no one wanted him to dare change things. Corporate Kate likes what she hears and suggests he could come to Titan. She hands him her card to call her when she is less busy. Ed steps over to the table and demands to know what business she has with his son ... Deimos is pining over his Helena picture when Nicole emerges in a slinky robe ... The doctor checks Paul and smiles he is fine but he needs to rest as does John, whom he sends back to bed. John laughs he will sneak back later and leaves the room. Marlena follows him and suggests Paul stay with them while he recovers. John suddenly grabs her in a loooooong passionate kiss. The blonde kisses him right back ... Dario gets defensive and rages at Eduardo to mind his own business for he was never around for him before anyway. Ed grills Kate. Dario realizes they have history and is shocked. He had no idea they were involved before. Adrianna arrives and Dario happily hugs her, asking about Gabi and Arianna. Kate wonders who she is. Ed introduces the mother of his children. Kate lies she is just a friend of her son. Ed offers to walk Adrianna home and she accepts. Dario demands to know what went down with Kate and Ed. Kate stammers she has no time, she has a business trip to prepare for. They can talk business when she gets back. She airily walks away ...Deimos suggests coffee but Nicole wants brandy. He pours them both an expensive brandy. She slinks to the piano to hear his strong hands play. He drawls classical romantic and sits down and plays. She drinks up and acts like Helena, swaying. Deimos is immersed in his playing, immersed in his past ... John and Marlena stop their super long kiss. Marlena says whoa mama. John gushes it was a thank you from them. She notes there is nothing she would not do for Paul. John grabs her for another hot kiss ... Meanwhile JJ has a treat for Arianna and a hot kiss for Gabi ... Adrianna enters the house with Ed. Someone left black roses with a note - RIP Patrick Johansen. Adrianna assumes the black roses were sent to the wrong address. Ed grimaces they got it right. Years ago he had business with Patrick. Adrianna anxiously asks if he killed him. He sighs he is sorry and confirms he killed him. Adrianna sighs she cannot deal with him killing whereas she saves lives. Ed says he was programmed. They both know this was a threat. She questions whether he will ever be able to leave his old life behind ... Nicole slinks over to Deimos and sits seductively beside him, placing her hand on his. He stops playing and roughly kisses her lips, holding her face like he has just found his Helena ... THE END! |
