Lucas remembers being hit on the head. Sami suspects Kristen got desperate. She herself was jabbed. Lucas worries about Kate, but Sami suspects she escaped via that moving car cos Kristen knows not her whereabouts ... Kate slurs about catching Jake with Gabi, feeling unsteady and unhappy. Jake reminds her she dropped him. Kate tells him t'was Kristen ... Sue coos she got in cos of Harold, but Chloe saw her by the panel that leads down to the secret rooms! Marlena now calls to tell the songbird Brady is stable and awake. Chloe ends the call and decides to visit. Fake Sue suggests they go together. Chloe demands the real reason she came to the mansion where she means nothing to no one ... At the square Nicole fibs to Rafe she just finished a breakfast biz meeting. He teases she was wearing that same dress last night ... Lucas blames Sami for Kristen locking them in the wine cellar while she wreaks havoc. Sami exclaims she was protecting Kate against Kristen. Lucas apologizes. Sami hopes Kate got home alive and already exposed her ... Gabi and Jake cannot believe it when Kate claims Kristen was her in a mask, as well as Susan. Jake hears Kate was drugged and smuggled out in a duffle bag. Fortunately she rolled out the car door and spent the night sleeping it off in a ditch. Gabi scoffs only she would survive. Kate agrees. Jake recalls how he suspected something was off, but Kate is not interested now that he is with the one he wants. She tells them they deserve one another and unsteadily storms out ... - Brady updates John on making sloppy Susan talk. John is horrified to hear Kristen has been disguised as Susan in his home for months! He just saw her! Here comes Marlena, who is most troubled to hear the inconvenient truth that Susan is Kristen. John suggests they search for Kristen stat. Marlena thinks she might still be at the chapel ... Fake Susan fibs she got a sign to come. Chloe decides she is lying and heads downstairs to discover the truth ... Lucas pouts to Sami that Chloe will be so mad. He wishes he had not been part of her plan. Sami feels horrible for having cheated like trampy Nicole ... Rafe assures Nicole she need not explain but he does worry. She fibs she was just modeling the design for some buyers. Rafe senses something and she sadly states Eric is staying longer in Africa. Her marriage could be kaput ... Gabi is horribly humiliated, but Jake swears he spoke the truth last night. Gabi is the one he wants ... Susan stops determined Chloe from going downstairs. Here comes real Kate, who warns Chloe that is Kristen dangerous DiMera ... Rafe feels for Nicole and realizes the reason she called. She sighs she and Eric argued. He is sorry she could not reach him. She pouts she drowned her sorrows at the pub and is sorry to say she fibbed about the meeting ... Sami tells Lucas she witnessed Nicole staggering into the Salem Inn with Xander. There is a thin line between love and hate! Lucas can relate but adds he never tried to off Sami ... There is no sign of Kristen, but Brady begs John not to call the cops. Then he hugs her, and she puts her head on his shoulder ... Marlena wonders what is taking Chloe so long. John suspects Kristen will target the songbird first. Marlena calls her. Meanwhile Chloe struggles with Kristen, who advises against answering. Marlena now tries calling "Susan." Kate suggests Kristen pick up. Kristen turns it off ... John fears the worst. Marlena is worried since Sami has also been unreachable. John suggests she call Sami. She does but Kristen turns off that phone too ... Jake admits he cares and cared for Kate, but they never professed their love! He has no regrets about last night and always wanted Gabi, who feels the same way. She puts her head on his shoulder ... - Astute Rafe suddenly notices Nicole has the sweet, spicy, and musky scent of pacculi. She claims tis a Basic Black unisex scent. She changes the subject to his date with Ava. It went well. She assures him she can see herself home and he watches her slink away ... Lucas doubts Nicole would cheat on Eric but him being away so long might have led to loneliness. Mad Sami sides with Eric ... Marlena mentions Chloe being cross at Lucas and Sami now. Brady denies it could be related but John reminds him Kristen has harmed others in the past. The mayhem around them must all be connected. Brady grudgingly agrees John should call the cops ... Chloe breaks free of Kristen, who waves around the poker and warns Kate to back off ... Jake gives Gabi a sweet kiss and states he must go tell Kate ... Sami rages about being locked up with Lucas but Lucas reminds her of all the times she got up close and personal. In fact her first tryst with EJ took place because it was the only way he would help Lucas, who was trapped under a beam. Sami defends her husband and argues he is the father of her kids. Lucas reminds her he too is a father and argues EJ does not deserve Sami if he cannot forgive her. She starts to slap him, but he stops her and they kiss ... Nicole apologizes to honorable Eric's picture for her affair. She wants to wash the scent of Xander off herself ... Rafe gets a call from Marlena, who talks turkey. Brady has proof positive Kristen is out and on the warpath! Rafe suddenly realizes no one is safe ... Jake comes downstairs and is stunned to see Kate lying bloodied on the floor.
