Lucas is at DiMera mansion, where he could not bring himself to burn Chloe’s letter. He lets Kate know he doubts she went willingly with Miguel. Kate begs to differ. Lucas storms out, determined as ever ... Miguel ogles Chloe close up. She complains she was kidnapped. He wishes to give her all she needs. To call her son! Only after he gets what he wants ... Salem patient Brady wants Victor to wait. The Greek growls he has got to hear this before he re-proposes to Eve. Brady waits. So does confident Eve ... Theresa thought Xander was dead! He leers dead or alive he loathes her ... Victor explains Viv is dead ... Theresa gets spooked and suggests Xander stay away! She assumes the worst and warns him who her boyfriend is. Xander cracks up and muses he is here to see Mateo. He helps himself to a cigar and gushes he and Mateo go way back but what will he say about her snooping ... Chloe asks Mateo to back off but he claims he is only interested in her enchanting opera performance. However if she does not get dressed in the costume he provided he will rip off her clothes and put her in it himself. His voice is deep with the threat of danger ... Leo acts defensive at the office. Sonny wonders who it was. Leo lies the printer and pretends to be going there to pick something up ... Lucas pays Paul and Will a visit to tell them of Viv’s demise. Lucas offers to buy him breakfast to discuss another case ... Brady quips when is the parade. Victor notes no one has to worry about Viv anymore. Brady does not get the connection to his proposal. Leo admits he did not like dealing with Viv anyway. Kate pouts she knows everything! He begs her not to tell Sonny. No problem for now she is the master who is taking over Viv’s plan ... Will visits Sonny at his office and updates him on Abigail confessing to killing Andre. Sonny is stunned. Will confirms it is true. Sonny feels for everyone involved, including Chad. Will points out Gabi will go free. Sonny agrees and asks if he told Ari yet. Will smiles they can do so together. Sonny smiles back and adds him coming in person with the news means much ... Opera singer Chloe is all gowned up. Mateo sits and waits for her to sing. And so she begins ... Theresa stops Xander from leaving as he leers she accused him of attacking her. She offers to give him what he really wants – to be accepted back into the Kiriakis clan by Victor. Xander pauses ... Victor urges Brady to consider Tate. Brady counters Eve is great with Tate. He also senses his grandfather’s reluctance to reveal what he really knows ... Leo is stunned. Kate smoothly states things have changed and she needs her own power base, starting with Leo - and Sonny liking him. She likes the idea of the sexual harassment suit. Leo turns her down since he does like Sonny. She coos and he cashed all Viv’s checks. He blurts out he was broke. She warns him the cops would follow the money trail so go back to lonely guy Sonny and get him in the sack or else ... Will awkwardly apologizes to Sonny for the stress he and Paul gave him about Viv. He tells him to text him if he ever wants to lunch together. Sonny gushes he usually gets something for his desk. Will will see him later. Sonny sighs ... At the square over coffee Paul is updated by Lucas on Chloe. Paul begins by requesting a description of Miguel. Lucas also laments the guy who saw her sing in Vienna sounded obsessed ... Mateo applauds Chloe and calls her voice angelic. She wants to go home and offers to make him a personal recording. He stands and praises her figure he intends to experience ... Xander doubts Theresa would be able to convince Victa of anything. She boasts how she pushed Brady away to make him hate her and protect him and Tate from the wrath of madman Mateo. She knows Victor wanted her to come back when she could and insists he would reward Xander for helping make that happen ... Meanwhile Victor is getting nowhere with Brady, who has found love with Eve. Victor now informs him if he walks away from the woman, Titan is his to run ... Leo calls Kate as cutthroat as Viv. Kate warns she is worse and tells him to go back and tantalize Sonny at Titan. That is all ... Chloe threatens to scratch out Mateo’s eyes. He replies he would never force himself on her and asks her to perform the dance of the seven veils. He provides the music on his iphone and smiles at his Salome to dance for him ... Xander distrusts Theresa still so she tells him she is desperate. He rubs in her captivity ... Eve comes back to Brady, assuming Victor is against their union. Brady apologizes and tells her of the Titan offer ... Back at the office Leo can see that Sonny is rattled after seeing Will. He lets him know he is here to listen ... Mateo wants to make Chloe want him and vows to wooooooo her. Never! He points out he could lose patience and she would regret it. He starts to go but she stops him ... Xander offers to pass the damning drive to Victor, who would then rescue Theresa but he would want it first so he could learn how to run Mateo’s empire. Theresa counters she can accuse Xander again. Mateo would maim him! Xander threatens unless he gets the drive from her now he will tell Mateo what she did. He grins wickedly ... Eve wants Brady to accept Victor’s offer of a lifetime. They might not make it. Brady begs to differ. He plans to keep his promise to her. She gets emotional as he proposes again amazed at what he could be giving up. He gushes she is all he wants and she gushes to give her the ring already. He slips it on and they kiss in bliss ... Victor is miffed that Brady turned down his offer with a text. Kate comes across him at the pretty park. They discuss the demise of Vivian Alamain. Victor grins he owes her for it and is grateful. Kate coos one day he can repay her ... Leo gets jumpy with Sonny and suggests he set up his next week appointments. Then he turns and purposely pours coffee on his shirt. Sonny lets him borrow the extra one in his closet. Leo takes his shirt off. Unsuspecting Sonny tries to divert his eyes ... Chloe asks to call her son. Mateo sighs. She begs and promises to reveal nothing. He touches her face and claims he wants her happy. When he trusts her more then she can talk to her son. She suggests champagne. He tells her he is out of time and exits to get back to his evil empire ... Theresa lets Xander have the drive, thus making a deal with the devil who will help her get home if he is as good as his word ... Back in Salem Brady declares to Eve no one will ever come between them and they kiss ... Back in dangerous Mateo's Mexican office, Theresa starts to usher Xander out before ...
