Jen rages at jittery JJ at the town square. What was he thinking?! It does not take long for woeful JJ to perceive Paige, who approaches the pair, asking if everything is alright. Jen suggests they should tell her, so JJ gives her a pleading look and weakly wonders "Mom?" Jen explains she and JJ are having a family problem and their family already caused her too much pain. They head home. Paige is puzzled and tries to convince herself she no longer cares ... Detective Hope is on the job and hands Abe her report, to make sure she went the right route to nail that perp. Abe has high praise for her police work. She muses she must also pick up Ciara today, as the kids are being dropped off at the college. Abe asks about Hope's trip. She flashes back to the love she found with Aiden and gushes it was good. Abe suspects she has Aiden on her mind and praises him as one who would do anything for his son. Hope does not deny it ... Aiden is at a pub table with Roman and tells him he hopes there is no tension between them. Roman realizes he is seeing Hope and he realizes Bo let her down but Aiden should realize he still feels protective of Hope and would not be above beating someone up who did her wrong. Aiden gets it and grins. After all, he is feeling on top of the world today ... Nicole pauses at the park, obsessing over Eric's embrace. She tells herself it would not work out and her thoughts return to Dan. She feels things would be more more simple with him at her side and decides to pay the devoted single doc a house call ... Before Mel can find Parker's new favorite thing, Dan arrives home, tired from work. He grabs pumped Parker in a hug and Me agrees to read him a story before his nap. Serena admits she actually wanted a word with Dan. Once they are alone, she slyly suggests they hang out like friends, since her and Eric are friends. Dan is somewhat surprised but offers to call her when he takes Parker out for cocoa. She can come with them ... Eve is unable to reach Paige and panics at the apartment. It is in such a state that Theresa finds her sister. She muses she must have done something pretty bad ... Jen heads home to Horton house, relieved Abigail is not present. JJ pouts. Jen proceeds to blast her boy for letting Eve the evil Devereaux destroyer succeed in seducing him. JJ tries to explain that was not how it was. It all started with his Paige predicament ... Serena is anxiously waiting for Dan to call for cocoa. Her female boss calls with a warning that HE is impatient. She needs to get it now or else both she and Eric are at risk ... tick tock ... Serena starts to feel the mysterious net closing in ... Mel opens the door to Nicole and decides to depart for her shift at the hospital. She deduces she is there for Dan and acts friendly. Dan notices. Nicole now gets cold feet and decides to leave. She drops her purse and an awkward moment ensues. There is no denying Dan is drawn to her. So much so that he breathes they should not be alone for he still does not trust her. Time will tell. He opens the door. Nicole now walks out ... JJ tells Jen the tale of wanting to talk to Paige after he acted like a jerk when she found out what Jack had done. He had been drinking. Eve had just been told by her doc that she would never sing again. They ended up at the apartment at the same time and one thing led to another ... Jen gasps that was months ago. That was then and this is now they are discussing ... Eve overreacts with Theresa and snaps she has not done anything to her daughter. Theresa gets sarcastic but sarcasm sister number two is not amused ... All of a sudden Paige calls. Eve exclaims she can explain! Paige sighs they were supposed to spend some time together. Eve plays it cool, realizing she got away with it. Paige knows nothing. Yet ... Aiden and Hope arrive at the campus lounge, where he praises her for agreeing to put the kids first. He is relieved she realized he has to protect Chase and is keeping his secret. They kiss and smile. The kids come running and hug their respective parents. Ciara has grown. She hopes Chase and Aiden will be joining them at the pub for some good American food. They are indeed. Smiles all around. Somehow it all seems perfect. Too perfect ... Nicole gets an idea on how to speed up her situation with Dan ... Eve agrees to meet Paige at the square. Theresa asks about that bullet she just dodged. Eve kicks her out ... Jen gives JJ a hit for his selfish behavior. He was getting down and dirty with the mother of his ex-girlfriend in the hotel room of his fake girlfriend! JJ hangs his head and sighs he was not a victim. Jen wants to believe he was manipulated into Eve's bed. He admits he was with her already before she dragged her daughter to California to get her away from him. He is just no good and does not deserve the girl of his dreams ... Jen recalls him having someone new after Paige went to Cali but JJ sheepishly admits that was Eve too cos she came back to town to get some belongings ... At the hospital nurse Mel lets HR Theresa know she needs a new badge, one with a better photo. Theresa taunts the camera never lies. Mel wonders why she acts like such a beech sometimes. Theresa taunts because she is able to ... Mel gets in her face and snatches her ID, insisting she get her a new improved one ... Serena has joined Dan and Parker at the club for cocoa. She sweetly asks the medicine man to help her out regarding a spat she just had with Eric. She need his help to find something ... Dan flat out refuses to play ... Eve meets pretty Paige at the square and suggests she should get her a new phone with a new number. Paige points out there is no need for she will not be getting any calls from JJ, whom she just saw. Eve gets tense again ... Jen wonders whether JJ has any feelings for Eve. He snaps he feels only HATE! Jen notes that is what Eve feels for her. Tis a toxic thing ... Theresa snaps Mel will still have an awful picture on her badge and haughtily walks off. Nicole has arrived and invites Mel for a drink. Mel grimaces Theresa the terrible is getting to her. Nicole notes she is no longer pursuing the Mandrake mystery. Mel believes it is for the best or is it? Nicole repeats her drink invitation. Nurse Mel muses not while on the job ... Serena is surprised when Dan declares he will not spy on his friend. Parker is now pumped from the sugar and chocolate and demands his new toy. Dan explains they had to leave it at home as it is not really a toy, it is an elephant. Serena smiles a sneaky smile ... Nurse Mel is minding her own business when Theresa suddenly storms back and takes a fit at her for lying about the Mandrake mystery ... JJ laments he has lost Paige forever and now soon everyone will know what he did. Jen suggests she not tell anyone, since Eve will certainly not. JJ thanks her profusely ... Eve is aghast when Paige pouts she saw JJ's mom getting mad at him. Eve announces there is something she should know ... Jen takes her son by the hand and points out it is possible all is not lost for him and Paige, they could still have another chance at romance ... THE END! Ahead on Days: Brady seems to side with Theresa! Someone spells trouble for Serena. Dan is pressured to decide. |
