Now without further ado ...


Maggie has fainted at Brady's bash. Victor is at her side urging her to say something. Marlena wants to get her bag from the car. Paul watches without a word ... Abigail is staring outside DiMera mansion, startled there is actually nothing there. Chad asks if she is alright and holds out his hand. She cries on his shoulder lamenting she is losing her mind. Chad points out she is still spooked and was dreaming about Ben but she knows better. It was not a dream, it was a hallucination. JJ picks up the phone to call for a doctor ... Marlena is back with her bag. Maggie has been helped to a chair and has regained consciousness. She protests when Brady starts to call 911. Victor protests her protest. She shows the diamond ring she discovered on the floor and Theresa slips it on with glee. Victor scowls, since he now has his confirmation on Brady's plans. He does not intend to let bygones be bygones with Theresa the terrible. John gets Maggie a glass of water. Brady announces he and Theresa are engaged. Victor heckles. Maggie hushes her hubby. The guests applaud Brady's heartfelt words about sharing his life. Theresa's eyes sparkle like the ring now back on her finger. Belle insists she say something. Theresa tries to make light of the past, then promises they will not regret letting her into their family. Brady is beaming ... Chad sits on the sofa with Abigail, holding her in his arms. The baby make a noise. JJ offers to carry him upstairs. Chad suggests he needs his mom at the moment. Abigail tenderly takes Thomas in her arms and talks to him. He smiles. Chad kisses her on the head, hoping for the best ... Theresa watches with worry when John approaches her and Brady. She believes he does not approve but John grins welcome to the family. If she makes Brady happy he is happy. Besides, he believes she has changed. She throws her arms around him and thanks him profusely. Brady approaches Victor and Maggie. He explains they are calling it an early night. Maggie hopes not on her account for they were leaving anyway. She steps away to congratulate Theresa. Brady sighs he wishes grandfather would be happy for him. Victor gets sarcastic ... Dr. Fynn has examined Abigail, whom he believes suffered a panic attack. He leaves her with pills to prevent the panic and advises her to also see a therapist. Once the doctor has departed from DiMera mansion. Chad gets her a glass of water and a pill to take. JJ believes Ben is not going to show but assures her they have a detail outside. Chad adds his men are also on the grounds. Exit busy Salem cop JJ. Abigail now starts to question her sanity and suggests she might have been the one who shredded her nightgown in Chicago ... Brady and Theresa have taken their engagement celebration home in front of the fireplace. He feels badly about the drama he brought to their big night. She teases she does not mind drama. He believes she has won over most of his family. She nervously notes not Victor, though ...

Maggie has insisted on being brought home, claiming she only has a cold. Victor insists she at least head to bed and let him look after her. He will make tea. She agrees and starts to climb the grand staircase, only to cry out and come tumbling down. She falls to the floor and lies there motionless like a glamorous rag doll. Victor comes running ... Chad assures Abigail if her mind was that badly off - which he feels is not the case - they would deal with the problem together. He offers to make her tea but she worries about being alone in the room with the baby, no longer trusting herself ... Belle is back in the bedroom with Phillip. He tries to talk commitment and she gasps in horror he is proposing. He laughs and nervously notes they are not marriage material. But he wants to be the only man in her life. Belle counters she will not be anyone's commodity. He says the L word. Love. She calls him lost and trying to find something to hold onto in his life. She starts to leave. Phil stops her, concludes he will take her anyway he can and they passionately kiss ... Victor shouts for Henderson cos they need an ambulance. Deimos walks through the front door instead. He tells his brother he poisoned the woman he loves and she will be dead within minutes without his secret antidote. He produces a document he must sign in return for said antidote - a document which will in effect give Deimos everything he owns. Victor questions the sincerity of the liar. Deimos drawls he has no choice but to believe him if he desires to save the woman he loves. Victor solemnly signs on the dotted line. Deimos sarcastically praises him for putting love first ... Abigail gets tired from the pill she took and asks Chad to stay on the sofa with her. She lies in his arms after he places the baby back in his crib nearby. They fall asleep as the fire in the fireplace crackles in the background. A few seconds later her eyes fly open, focusing on the double doors that lead to the garden where she believed she saw Ben. She steals outside and takes a few steps. It is still night. Ben stands before her and coldly stares without a word. She points at him and gasps she knows he is not here. Then she runs back inside. Ben grins ... Brady rests his romantic head in Theresa's lap. They believe their story turned into a happily ever after and they kiss in bliss ... Deimos injects his antidote into Maggie's arm, boasting he is a man of his word ... Chad wakes up, closes the doors, and worriedly wonders what happened. Abigail melts down over losing her mind and he hold her in his arms again, assuring her they will overcome together. Ben is standing at the door but when she looks again he has left. She sighs she feels fine now ...

Deimos takes a triumphant look around the Kiriakis mansion and tells himself the deed is finally done ... Victor is at the hospital desperate for an update on the condition of his beloved Maggie. Dr. Fynn appears with dire news. While the poison did get neutralized, the fall took its toll. Maggie broke her back and now cannot move her legs. Victor turns away and angrily quotes Aeschylus, the ancient Greek master of tragedy. "For a deadly blow let him pay with a deadly blow; it is for him who has done a deed to suffer." Translation" Deimos is as good as DEAD.
