There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Phillip is pleased to meet with Belle at the Edge. But he wonders what was happening last night that she was not telling him ... Dario and Nicole are doing lattes at the square. She sighs about missing Dan. He suggests a real drink. She has work to do ... Maggie smiles she would like to come in. Summer opens her door and the redhead enters with a sweet smile. She is sorry she ran off after finding out she was her daughter. Summer is sorry she caused her stress. Maggie spies her packed bag and asks where she is going ... Deimos is alone at his apartment, drinking and obsessing over Victor. He stares at his scar and then he stares at an old black and white photograph of the two brothers once upon a time in Greece. It motivates him to call and ask for a meeting. Victor agrees to give him ten minutes ... Maggie implores Summer not to leave for L.A. She longs to know her daughter. Summer wants to know why she ever gave her up ... Deimos arrives at the Kiriakis mansion and makes Victor a peace offering to end the bad blood that led to this war. Victor suggests HE was the one who started it with his petty jealousy and tried to turn his own son against him. Deimos claims he wanted him to feel betrayal. Victor wonders what changed in the last 24 hours. A wise and beautiful woman whose name he will not reveal wants him to let the vendetta go. Victor scoffs ... Dario thinks it would be less hard for Nicole if she left late Dan's old apartment. She cannot because of Parker wanting to visit. The poor thing wishes his father would come back. Dario quips he wishes his would never have come back and updates Nicole on the latest, from the shootout to Ed's admission that he was a hired assassin all along. Even Nicole is flabbergasted ... Maggie explains as Summer listens. As a young girl her parents died in a car crash. She was injured from the accident at the time and a new helper at the farm called NOAH paid attention to her. One thing led to another. She knew not his last name and his family had moved by the time she found out she was with child. Hank the farmhand helped her deliver the baby and lied it was stillborn. She cries as she remembers. Summer wonders why he lied like that. Maggie cries perhaps he thought he was protecting her since she was too young to know how to raise a child. Summer seems disappointed that her father never even found out she existed ... Belle stirs sugar in her coffee and sighs there was a situation with John. Phillip figures out it was ISA intrigue and asks no more. She teases him and talks him into attending Brady's big announcement party on her arm so the world can see they are a couple. But there is no love lost between bitter Phillip and do-gooder Brady. He now sits and tells her of his own exciting news. If she is still interested in investing, he would like to start a new recording company that will make the most of the internet for local emerging artists. Belle is on but has one condition. He has to sign Claire first. He hesitates, having never heard her sing. She stands firm. No Claire means no cash. Phil finally agrees and they shake on it ... Victor snaps at Deimos to prove he has changed. Talk is cheap. Deimos reminds him a certain redhead gave Victor a chance and then taunts him for the fact that she did not tell him of their talk the other day. Must be trouble in paradise .. Maggie gets emotional over Daniel giving her the greatest gift - her daughter. They continue their conversation at the park. Summer admits her childhood with the church going couple was hard and she had mood swings. Maggie muses Melissa's teen years were not terrific either. Summer notes they passed a few years ago but she had not seen them for ages. Maggie wonders what she did to make ends meet. Summer replies she had hard fast food jobs and did what she had to. Maggie worries what she means. Summer sighs she wants to be an open book, given her mother's billionaire husband might be bothered by some of her past transgressions. Summer is a reformed jewel thief who spent time in prison ... Dario tells Nicole all about his mother and niece being kidnapped by John's crazy father the mastermind of the murdering organization they both belonged to. But John walked away ages ago whereas Ed did not. Nicole thinks he should give his father a chance. Dario does not ... Maggie sweetly suggests she go home to take this all in. She is not judgmental about Summer's past. Summer points out Dan would have wanted her to tell her everything. The redhead starts to stand but loses her balance ... Deimos demands doubtful Victor apologize for sending him to prison or at least for not helping him ... Summer gives Maggie a glass of water at her hotel room. She hugs her daughter and heads home to lie down. Summer is hopeful they will speak again soon ... Victor refuses to apologize for anything. Deimos ominously suggests he will have to lie in the bed he made himself ... Nicole and Dario are almost done. Maggie walks by and stumbles. Nicole steadies her with help from Dario and they help her home ... Claire has been offered the chance of a lifetime but calls it a bribe. Phillip believes in her and notes she will be nurtured with a band, coach, and song writers until she is polished enough to perform at the Edge. They both believe in her. Claire excitedly agrees ... Summer is in her room obsessing over Maggie's impression of her ... Victor stands by the burning fireplace with an old black and white photo of himself with Deimos ... At the square Deimos spies Maggie being helped home. It seems his sinister drugging of his unsuspecting brother's wife has begun ... THE END! |
