Monday, March 24, 2014 Episode 12,301 - Sleeping beauty Brady is buzzed awake in bed by his phone and all of 10 missed calls from Theresa! He sighs and continues to ignore her. Meanwhile, the minx is pacing at her office, miffed about being ignored by the billionaire heir ... - At the apartment, Gabi informs breakfasting Rafe the baby is asleep and the guys are out, He sips his coffee and wonders about this meetup. Gabi explains she invited him here to give him the heads up and it is about NICK! - At the town square, Nick is going over packaging and such with Cheryl, who does not realize he is no marketing guru. He loooves one of her mockups and stares at the computer screen. Cheryl looks up and spies Jordan, surprised she opted to stay in town. Nick takes it all in. Cheryl innocently makes the introductions. Nick graciously steps away for a call, he says. But he stands and listens nearby. Jordan demands to know what her friend is doing with the likes of Nick Fallon ... - At the club, breakfasting Kate insists to breakfasting Lucas that Jordan has played Rafe again with her little drama about leaving town, just as Lucas has been played by women. Lucas thinks his mom is talking like a bitter betty. She insists she does not want Rafe to get hurt. He suggests then she stop going after Jordan! Ben stares darkly from the counter. Lucas muses his mom has Ortiz digging around and likely wants to send the girl packing back to the Ozarks, if she gets her way. Kate reminds him that girl has aliases so she intends to find out who she really is and what she wants. Ben gets tense. - At the mansion, Sami comes down in a hot pink dress, teasing working EJ for letting her sleep late. He grabs and kisses her with mad passion. She gasps he has work to do and he says shhh. Then they kiss again and he teases he does indeed have work to do, sitting back down at the desk. Sami marvels their date was nice. The talk now turns to Gabi and Kate. Sami is utterly exasperated Kate was on a date with Stefano and suddenly gasps. EJ asks WOT. Sami scrunches up her face and deduces Stefano wanted the sex drugs for that purpose - to function for Kate! EJ urges her to keep her voice down. Sami speaks the long name of ED but EJ insists she let it go. Besides, fatha has not admitted he even dined with Kate. Sami presses him to ask. He drawls it is not his business. Sami decides she will get an answer directly from Kate. - Rafe automatically assumes Nick has done something and freaks out. Gabi gets upset. Rafe freaks out further upon realizing the gullible girl believes he has changed again. Gabi argues she knows him and he wants to come back from his mistakes. If only Salemites would give Nick a break! Rafe observes her with his brooding eyes and asks if they are .... No they are not together, but she is spending much time with him. Rafe grumbles. Gabi adds she is convinced he has changed. Rafe stares as dangerous music plays. - Brady flashes back to Maggie's claim that his conduct was that of an addict. He gets out of bed alone with a sigh. Back at the office, Theresa slams her files. Knock knock! She explains Anne is out but John the man in black has come to see her! He grins and she cringes. - EJ attempts to warn Samantha away from father phoenix but the girl in the hot pink dress is on a roll. So she thinks. She is convinced Kate could be falling under his spell again and needs some reminding of their history. She now complains about clueless Gabi's return to Nick's sphere, then gets an idea. EJ becomes exasperated when she enlists his help. She gushes he got through to Abigail and could work his magic again! EJ flashes back to his affair with young Abigail and goes silent. Sami persists. He warns they could push Gabi straight into Nicholas' arms if they harass her. Sami purrs pleeeeease and he is unable to resist. She covers his face with kisses and goes, after he reminds her to remain mum about the ED secret of Stefano. - Rafe does not comprehend his sister's reasoning as she is no longer alone and pregnant like before, when Nick hoodwinked her. He implores her to listen to her cop brother. He knows about ex cons and Nick has not changed! Gabi quips he is a Horton. Rafe fears she is in for another disaster. Gabi boasts she knows Nick better than he knows that Jordan! - Still seated at the town square, Cheryl explains she is doing some work with Nick at Mad World. He is the genius, she does the packaging and such. Jordan seems satisfied that it is not personal and asks about Lucas. Cheryl smiles and blushes. Jordan is glad for her old friend about Lucas and leaves. Nick returns and pleasantly probes Cheryl about Jordon, how they knew each other from long ago. Cheryl has nothing to hide. She wants to get back to the mockup but Nick has changed his focus. He smells a secret ... - Kate assures Lucas that if she comes up empty, she will wish Jordan and Rafe well. Lucas eats his food and suggests she needs a hobby. Enter hurricane Sami, gasping she has simply got to talk to Kate about where she was last night! She gives her an accusing look. Lucas is intrigued. - Brady comes downstairs as Maggie the businesswoman in blue prepares to head to Chez Rouge. Brady stops her and sighs he is sorry. Now he has her undivided attention. - Theresa is having coffee at the pub with John, nervous about being with the superspy. He will only say he loves his son and is worried about him. Theresa claims they are having fun is all. John knows about all the trouble she has seen. He suggests the girl needs a break and pensively sips his coffee. Theresa concludes he wants to keep her away from his boy. John does not deny it. - Gabi gleefully points out Jordan does not discuss her past even with Rafe. He quips she is private and accuses his sister of trying to change the subject. Gabi refuses to let him speak ill of her new improved bff Nick and snaps he should leave if that is all he can do. Rafe sarcastically states he will respect her wishes, snaps he has nothing nice to say about that one, and walks out, much to her dismay. - Lucas asks mama Kate to share. The boss lady reminds him he has a meeting. He fixes his cuffs, teases Sami to give her hell, and exits. Sami sits and calls Kate her assignment of the day, though Gabi has problems too. She was on a date with Nick! Kate exclaims she should have learned from experience. Sami says the same of her, then calls Kate freaking crazy to hook up with the likes of Stefano again! Kate is not in the mood to explain herself. But Sami will not let up. - Lucas comes across Cheryl and Nick working together at a town square table. He suspiciously states he is surprised Nick has the time. Nick gushes he likes to take an inclusive approach. Lucas wants to talk to Cheryl. Nick takes her hand, praises her as an asset, and goes on his way. Lucas gives her a stern stare and warns her to never meet with the guy again! - Kate wonders how much Sami knows. Did Stefano say they dined ...? Sami quips no but she just did now! Kate bites her lip and curses. Sami admits she did the math last night, having found her fav champagne on the romantically set table. She wrongly assumes Kate jumped back into bed with Stefano, being rebounded from Rafe. Kate insists she would never, though she concedes she did dine with him, as per a promise to Chad. That is why she went and then told him what she thought of him. It irks her that she must explain herself and she reminds Sami she is the one living in the DiMera mansion, about to marry the same man she tried to murder! - Gabi is folding colorful baby clothes when Nick sends her a sweet text about having a great time last night. He will see her soon! Knock knock. But Nick is not at the door when Gabi opens it. Instead, there stands EJ, who forces a benevolent smile. - Maggie thinks Brady's feeling of sorry must be fleeting. He admits he was an ass and she spoke the truth. The redhead is relieved he has seen the light. Brady believes the time has come for him to face the truth. She wonders how. He turns around and sighs he has some thinking to do. She praises him, assures him she will be at the house later, after her work at Chez Rouge, and asks him to take care. Brady says nothing. - Kate berates Sami for being involved with Junior. Sami wonders why she is so hard on him. Kate concedes he has been a great help, though he will always be second to Stefano, no matter how hard the hopeful heir tries. Sami warns her to watch her back lest she get hurt by Stefano cos she likes her. Kate is shocked by the admission. So is Sami. Kate laughs she did not even hear it, then says the same of her. The two feel they are more frenemies than friends. Sami now brings up Gabi and they agree Stefano should not get involved. Kate snaps she does not even want Stefano in her life, puts on her spring coat, and thanks her frenemy for her concern. However, the weakest link is Gabi ... - EJ muses Gabi must have been expecting someone else. She thinks he came for Will. He is not here to see Will, but to deliver her the company photographs from the shoot. She suspects Sami sent him, after her yelling about Nick last night. He must be her plan B. EJ charmingly drawls he is plan A and talks his way inside. - Sami gets a call and notices Jordan approaching Ben at the bar. He insists they go outside to talk. Sami gets off her phone and follows the pair ... - John has noticed Theresa's designer purse and notes her very expensive taste. She is intrigued. He suggests a job at Basic Black. She would rather not do entry level. He wonders whether she is tied to Salem. As it turns out, he has some lucrative openings in Europe. Theresa seems to think it would be a dream come true, but she realizes this is a bribe to get her away from his son and says so. All of a sudden, Brady appears at their table and demands to know what the hell his da is doing! - Cheryl stammers she is sorry and was trying to do her job. Lucas understands and notes the chemist knows nothing about marketing. She sighs so much for impressing the bosses. Lucas caresses her hand and gushes he is already impressed. - Nick confronts Kate outside the pub. He now knows Jordan and Cheryl were friends back in Birmingham! He accuses her of trying to get dirt on Jordan by sending for Cheryl. Kate denies it. Nick is not finished yet. He threatens to find out the details fast. She wonders what he wants. He grins to leave him and Gabi alone, winks, and goes on his loonalistic way. Kate peers after him with her cat eyes. - At the town square, Sami watches Jordan and Ben walking away together. She is at a distance and soon runs into Rafe, who complains about his sister and Nick. He is actually here at the square to meet someone. Sami realizes it must be Jordan and shows him which way she went with a guy from the club. Rafe is baffled. - Jordan and broody Ben stop in the park and he starts to warn her about Kate. Jordan already knows about her issues and dismisses the threat. Ben deduces she is the ex of the guy she stayed in Salem for. - EJ bombards Gabi with international travel plans for the campaign. Gabi finds it all so exciting but soon wants to talk about why he is really here. Nick! They sit on the sofa and EJ advises her to follow her heart. She asks what the catch is. He grins she knows that. He goes on to remind her of her plea for help after Nick tried to attack her. She thinks he is different now. EJ praises her for her big heart but as a friend, urges her to proceed slowly, with caution. Gabi considers. - Brady bitterly suggests John fix his own life. John saunters out without trying to defend himself. Brady apologizes for the bribery and deception Theresa knows what that is like, given ISA papa Shane’s underhanded tactics. They sit at a pub table and she asks if he spoke to Maggie as planned. He did indeed. And they had a huge fight. Then this morning ... Theresa wants the juicy details and flirts for him to step into her office. He notes she has work, no? She gushes he is more important. - Sami states it was intense, like something was wrong. Rafe thanks her and goes after his lady love. Nearby, at the park, Jordan wants to end the conversation but Ben takes her arm. She tries to shake him off. Cowboy Rafe bursts forth with a growl not to touch her and a punch. Ben goes down! Jordan lets out a cry. - Gabi is grateful. EJ gets up to go. He is standing at the door when she wonders whether he believes that people can change. But of course, eventually. However, there were times even he believed he had changed, though he had not, and Samantha was wrong to trust him. They were fortunate to escape with their lives. Therefore, she should be careful with Nick. Wot she knows is his past, no more no less. Nick talking is merely just talk. That is why she must be careful. Unbeknownst to the pair, Nick looms outside the door, having overheard, his eyes now reddened with rage ...
