ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. Link Only! FRANTIC FRIDAY! Friday, March 18, 2016 Episode 12,806 Beware of copycats. These are my words. There is only one DaysCafe :) Now without further ado ... Lying on a bench in the dark Salem park guilt-ridden Joey has a nightmare his father is arrested by Roman for murdering Ava. He wakes up and immediately calls Roman cos they must talk. Kayla appears and worriedly wonders who he was calling. He lies he was just checking his messages ... All the teens in Salem except Chase have been text invited to Ciara's birthday bash at the Edge. Hope is concerned her daughter is not dealing with the dreadful assault. Ciara insists she will forget by having fun with other kids not concerned adults ... Marlena is at home with Steve and a map. They have pinpointed John's location to a few addresses. Marlena laments all they have is a map nothing more. Rafe arrives and announces he has a hot lead ... Paul wakes up tied to a column. He does not understand why he was attacked and thrown into a van. John hangs his head and tries to find out more. He learns Paul was likely drugged as he had no concept of time, he just woke up here. John's eyes fill with anguish and fatherly determination. He explains his father did not die in the Korean war. He faked his death and now has brought them both here. Paul believes him to be a madman. John does not deny it. He informs him of Yo Ling's loony plans. Paul cries he is sorry. John morphs into hero mode and tells him it will be alright. He has him stand up and attempts to loosen his binds. They both do ... Rafe tells team John that he is being held in an abandoned medical clinic which has been using gas and electricity in spite of being closed. The cops were suspicious. Marlena plans to come with them but Steve suggests it is too dangerous. Marlena seems to play along. Rafe warns Steve he might end up violating his bail conditions but all Steve cares to do is save his partner and pal, bail conditions be damned ... Ed wakes up in his hospital bed. Visitor Gabi sweetly thanks him for saving Arianna and Rafe, aka her family. She insists she still wants her father in her life in spite of his past. After all, who is she to cast stones? Ed tries to talk her out of it but she stands firm. They are a family again ... The Edge is set up for the party, including the playlist. Hope agrees to go only after she has presented Ciara with her gift - the keys to Bo's old fixed up car. He would want her to have it. Ciara is thrilled. Hope leaves and the teens trickle in. Ciara laughs at Jade's gift, a bottle of liquor, then laments she cannot have any as the bartender left behind by her mom is keeping the liquor locked up. Henry innocently asks about Chase, who was not invited. He gets a bad reaction from Claire ... Kayla wants Joey to see he did nothing wrong but he exclaims he was the one who killed Ava and takes off. Kayla cannot shake a bad feeling. She follows him all the way to Roman's office and urges Roman not to hear him out. Roman suspects something is amiss and notes unless he meets alone with his nephew, it will be an official conversation. Kayla must withdraw. Joey is now alone with Roman to tell him something. The commissioner calmly tells him to start at the beginning. And so he does ... Ling the loon returns with his henchmen. Paul and John are still standing, tied to columns. Ling gets a close look at Paul, the future generation who will carry out his work. John rages to leave him alone. Ling ignores his pleas and rambles about destiny ... Ciara loves Theo's thoughtful gift of a bracelet and gives him a hug ... Kayla and Hope meet up at the dark park, where they share their unhappy stories. Kayla laments son Joey killed Ava and is now confessing to Roman. Meanwhile Roman is shown turning away from Joey, troubled by what he has heard. Back at the park, Hope is shocked. She then shares her own sad story about Ciara being raped by Chase. She felt dead when Bo died and did not properly protect her daughter from the fiend she brought into their home. The two women share a hug of support and sympathy. Hope fears Ciara is trying to hide her torment by celebrating but it will backfire ... Claire has her gift for Ciara. She stands up and sings a sad song about angels. Ciara's face falls and she runs out to the square in tears. Theo faithfully goes after her. He cannot comprehend why she left. Ciara impulsively kisses him and suggests they return cos she suddenly wants to party. Tis an attempt to forget her deep sorrow ... Ling spews more anti-west venom and vows to clean Paul's polluted mind. John bitterly calls it what it is. Brainwashing. The thugs cart Paul off as he protests. John pleads with his fanatic father to let Paul go, declaring he would do anything ... Rafe is racing through the square, a man on a mission, when he spies Dario, much to his surprise. Dario is given an update on their father being shot, as well as the keys to Rafe's place. But Rafe will have to catch up later and keeps running ... Kayla has a text from Roman. Hope wishes her luck and then gets a call from Theo, who strongly suggests she come to the club. Hope is on her way ... Ciara is dancing like a wild party girl, laughing about being 18 as she downs more hard liquor. The guests cheer her on. Hope walks in and sternly watches ... Kayla arrives at the station. She asks Joey and Roman what exactly is happening here ... Steve is updating Marlena on how the mission is going to go down and promises to get John out fast. He sees an old text from Kayla about Joey blowing things and hastily excuses himself for a personal matter ... Dario now knows the truth about his old man from Gabi. He, however, is not so forgiving. He enters his wounded father's room and scoffs he should have died from the bullet he took ... John urges Ling to take him instead of his boy. Ling starts to hobble away. All appears to be lost BUT DON'T RULE OUT OUR SOAP HERO JUST YET ... THE END - OR NOT! |
